Great place to stay. Location is excellent. Owner is easy to communicate with. Older house but nice and clean. I only have a couple negatives, hotel people will try all week to squeeze onto your beach or we even had a couple people go to get settled on our loungers. Needs better signage that it is private property & maybe the hotels could mention to their guests that the house is private property. Got a little annoying telling people pretty much everyday that it is private property. Other negative was the beds(at least the one in the master bedroom), not comfortable at all. Everything else about the place we loved.

We had 6 adults and 4 children. Everyone had a fantastic time and it was so nice being right on the beach. Perfect for the kids aged 3-9. As the lake in the swimming area isn’t very deep so we didn’t have to worry as much. Easy to social distance as well. Place was clean, it is older but clean. Would definitely stay there again.

This was our family’s third stay at this property. The beach is fantastic and it’s central location is perfect. We are looking forward to returning next year!

This place is a dump. There were dead bugs smeared on the walls. Exposed wiring coming out of multiple rooms. Black mold in the bathroom. The seats on a couple of kitchen chairs were not attached. The fabrics on the couches were stained. People are constantly using the driveway to turn around in the middle of the night and it sends their headlights into two of the bedrooms that appear to have curtains made out of bedsheets. Great family beachfront property with easy access to lake, and a short walk into town. The cottage and adjoining cabin make it ideal for a large family, or two couples. The hot tub is a bonus! We have been coming for the same May Day long weekend week for years, and always enjoy our little lake front oasis! Kevin is a great host, very responsive and accommodating.

Very well located with beach, buoy and easy walking access to all our favorite Osoyoos spots. The visitors at hotels located on either side of the VRBO were very respectful of our space on the beach and water. The property was not as clean as we would expect at arrival and we were unhappy to be told we had to deal with the previous renters' excessive mass of garbage because of city's garbage pick up schedule. Third bedroom is also the laundry/cleaning tool storage area. The beach/water, private patio, hot tub and giant picnic table were enjoyed by our group. Owner is very friendly and quick to respond to emails.

Six adults and five children stayed there for two weeks. There is a very generous expanse of private beach; a hot tub, spacious house, ample sleeping area, a water volleyball net, and a short walk to an interesting little town. It was a really ideal spot for a family vacation and we would highly recommend it. The couple of downsides were that the 'yard' around the property should have the accumulated garbage removed and the smaller room in the guest house needs some work such as a new blind and a better air conditioning set up as it couldn't be plugged in. The property has a lovely, laid back ambience, the house has all the amenities and we made great use of the huge front porch. It was a lovely stay.

My two boys wife and two dogs stayed here , it was a amazing lil paradise with at home feeling so very charming, and perfectly located step out of your lake front house onto a deck, into a hot tub a few feet to the water or your own lil beach fire pit or a two minute walk to down town ! I don't wanna tell Anyone about this place is fear it may not be available next time we want it, but had to let people know how great the place was and how great the owners were to deal with !! We will be back

Stayed here for a little over a week, the location on the beach was great!! Very close to everything you could possibly need. Small hiccup when we first arrive and was rectified with in minutes. House was very nice, with modern finishes and relaxing. The only negative about this property is the guest house was a little dirty probably hasn't been used in a while, could use a good deep clean as per our guests for one night. once again I don't think you can get a better location then this and would definitely recommend to any family looking for a nice get away.

We came up with my young family the last week of June and had an amazing time. The beach is amazing, the main house was beautiful inside, the pictures don't do it justice. The metal septic tank thing on the beach wasn't that bad, it makes a quiet humming noise but it's off to the side so not a big deal to us. Property was very clean and the cleaning woman is very friendly. Owner is happy to answer any questions that you have. Will definitely be back next year.

Location is great, right on the beach in central Osoyoos. The house was great, almost everything works and it was very clean. They should probably replace the couches, they are quite old and the pull out doesn't work. Otherwise, everything was great. The only really large issue is the septic tank in the front yard on the beach. The smell is obviously not good, and in your face at all times that you are on the patio or beach. I'm surprised nobody else mentioned this, but it is most definitely a factor. Osoyoos is obviously very hot, not making the smell factor any better. If the home owners were to improve on anything on the property, it would be to get that tank put underground, removed or at least sealed up much better than it currently is. The home owners are extremely nice and the house was otherwise great. So it is a shame to have this put a black mark on the overall experience. If this wasn't a factor our rating would go from average to excellent right away.

What a great little gem we stumbled on!!! it has all the luxuries of home but with sand and a lake at your feet. It has a great outside dining area and hottub was awesome after a day on the lake!! beds are comfy and cozy, clean and well situated to all conveniences by foot. We are returning next year for sure!!!
