The owner of the property was very nice and detail-oriented. The cabin was also very clean and cozy. Would recommend this cabin!

We had a group ranging in age from 1 year old to 69 years old. Great amenities. Awesome location. Owner was extremely helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

There ended up being 15 of us and it was enough room for us, the floor plan was nice as most of our time was spent on the main floor

We just love this place. It is so spacious and 9 people in there it didn’t feel like we was on top of each other. This is the second year in a row that we have booked this cabin and will be booking it again for next year. Jim is super awesome and easy to get ahold of.

Our family enjoyed a week in this beautiful log cabin, located in the extremely scenic Red River Gorge area. There was plenty of room for our group of 14 (ages 1 to 65) to spread out and sleep comfortably. The kitchen was well equipped and functional, with all appliances in good working order. The decks were spacious and comfortable, with a well maintained hot tub. We spent many enjoyable hours playing pool. Many trails were a short drive away, with varying length and levels of difficulty, and with some spectacular views of rock arches and sheer cliffs. Jim provided copious recommendations for hiking and local events, and was a truly gracious yet unobtrusive host. Should we find ourselves in the area in the future, we wouldn't hesitate to rent this cabin again. Thank you so much Jim for sharing your cabin with us!

We loved the cabin, it was fully equipt. We had fum with th pool table, and corn hole and hot tub. Everything we wanted to do at the state park was so close. And so much fun. Lots of places to hike and swim. Zipling and undergroumd kayakimg was amazing. The natuarl bridge , Sunset on chimney top. Nada tunnelwas so cool! We did so much and it was all so convienent to get to. Dudbt want to leave.

Great space for 7 friends to get together. Close to hiking trails at RRG. Host was very responsive.

Thirteen of us stayed in the cabin for 4 nights. The kitchen was very well stocked - pots, pans, silverware, etc. We cooked all but one dinner there. The communication with the owner was smooth and he was extremely pleasant to work with. The driveway is tricky getting into and out of but after a couple times it became easy. Be sure to follow his instructions. If we were to stay again we would bring air mattresses because the futons were not very comfortable. The only negative is something that can’t be changed: the road noise when you are outside. You can’t see the road but you can hear it. The location of the cabin is perfect for getting to trailheads. We had a great time.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The cabin accommodated our needs and offered plenty of room for us all. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table when we were not hiking or kayaking. Cabin was close to the trails, shops and stores.

We had 8 adults and slept comfortably. It was a great location for both Natural Bridge and the Gorge. The host is very prompt and very helpful .

The property was clean and well maintained. There was more than adequate space for our family gathering of twelve. There are some really neat attractions nearby that kept the kids interested and active

We spent our 25th wedding anniversary at this place and it was WONDERFUL! The location is convenient to Red River Gorge and there are several things to do in the area. The cabin is not easy to access but that is expected (it's a mountain cabin). The owner explained exact instruction on getting to the property. The place was great! The owner communicated with us and checked in to make sure everything was good at the property. Everything listed on the site are exactly as expected. We took advantage of the grill and the hot tub. I'm so glad we stayed at this cabin. We couldnt have asked for better communication. Blessings to you sir! We were a group of 13 geologists spending the weekend touring the gorge. There was plenty of room for everyone, and the hot tub was very popular at the end of each day. The host's details/directions and communication were top notch.

We started coming to the area near Slade for a few years now and each time is amazing. Beautiful location and always a great experience with the area and how beautiful the scenery is. This particular location I have to brag on the communication of the owners and their story behind their cabin. It's not often to hear from someone such as the Taylor's that were just amazing to talk to and you learn to appreciate them sharing their home and investment. They were just a phone call away when needed. We look forward to spending time there again very soon.

The cabin was very nice. The family enjoyed staying together with the scenic views, playing pool, and sitting on the porch. We got to enjoy a fresh covering of snow as well.

We finally got to take our annual ladies weekend trip. We picked the perfect place. The house was big enough for everyone to have their own space but still be close to everyone. The owner was responsive and helpful. The only issue we have is most of us are 60+ years old and there are a lot of steps.

For our anniversary my wife and I rented this for a weekend for us, 3 of our kids and 6 of our grandkids. Fun was had by all, the kid's really liked making s'mores.

The location just up the hill from a variety of things to do is great, however the Christmas 2022 bomb cyclone cold snap ruined our plans to celebrate here. The access is too steep and not conducive to having several vehicles for our family Christmas celebration. With the frigid, icy conditions we decided to celebrate elsewhere to avoid any issues. Jim was very responsive and nice to deal with.

Perfect for a large group and loved that there was plenty to do. My bunch definitely loved the pool table and corn hole boards. Kitchen has everything you need! Will definitely stay here again! Owner was very responsive and helpful.

Very nice owners, quick to respond and accommodate. Plenty of room to spread out, lots of towels and kitchen supplies. Close to places to eat, close to Hollerwood(which for us was great) and close to Kroger to stock up the kitchen. We plan to stay here every year for our Hollerwood weekend.

Enjoyed our stay! Beautiful area and the rental owners were easy to communicate with and responsive.

This was not our first time to RRG and probably not our last but this house was amazing. Not to far from any of the hiking trails and worked out great for our family and pets, we would recommend it to anyone.

Nice stay. Owners very pleasant to work with. Lots of room for a group. Lovely view. Well stocked kitchen. House and hot tub were heated up for us when we arrived. Appreciated the well stocked Keurig. Driveway a little tricky. Not much of a fire pit. Basement is cool. Water pressure low. Non working jacuzzi upstairs. But you can’t have it all at this affordable price, availability and place that allows pets. Overall a well worth family vacation.

Overall this is a great place to stay, it fit all of our requirements: spacious, outside deck, grill, fully stocked kitchen, multiple bathrooms, privacy.

This is a wonderful place to stay we had 8 people all adults and there was enough room for everyone to be comfortable. The cabin is clean and stocked well for our stay. The hot tub and pool table was a bonus after a long day of hiking. Definitely recommend this place for a long or short stay you won't be disappointed. You will find plenty to do from hiking, swimming, kayaking or just taking a quick trip to a Bourbon distillery to try the local flavors. The owner was fabulous with directions and any help with information we needed about the area. Don't be on the fence best house around.

I have been here twice now, and absolutely love this beautiful gem! This cabin accommodated every member of our big family. Red River Gorge is a great place to visit!
