This is our second time staying at this cute beach house! It’s the perfect size for our family of 4 +grandma. We are familiar with the area and love the remoteness & peacefulness of Broadkill beach while being close enough to Lewes/Rehoboth. The beach was great for shore fishing, shallow swimming in the bay with the kids and finding small sea creatures especially by the jetty. The house itself had a few upgrades since we were there last, everything is super clean and owner is very nice. Will be back!

We had a great time on our vacation, and we're happy with the house. The house was immaculate and had great views since it was on the beach. We will be coming back again.

My family has stayed at a variety of houses in Broadkill Beach over the years, and this was the first house that took our breath away! The view from the living room/kitchen is the best - we watched the waves and the clouds and the sun and the thunderstorm. The house had everything we needed to cook meals, it was clean and exactly as described. Monica was proactive and responsive when communicating with us - I felt very prepared going to her property. We plan to return for another long weekend - it was just what our family needed!

Perfect beach cottage right on the Bay. The view is fantastic! Love the light on the water at sunset and the twinkling lights of Lewes at night. This is our second time renting and this year, we were treated to a full moon rising over the Bay. Spectacular! Everything about this rental is exactly as advertised. The owner is great, very easy to deal with and very understanding. :)

Private, down to earth and good size space for 4 adults

Best part of this house was the 2 decks overlooking and listening to the ocean. Quiet street (went in the off-season) and just 15 mins to anything you need or want. Check in was easy and house was clean. We did a guided kayak tour on Broadkill River and walked the beach at Cape Henlopen State Park. Perfect weekend getaway!

We loved our time at the Blue pearl! Being just steps from the beach with little ones in tow was such a nice perk. My husband and I could stay at the beach while our kids napped and toting all the things you need with kids on the beach wasn't so bad when the house is right there. We also had the beach to ourselves as far as the eye could see everyday we were there! The waves were the perfect size for our kids to play in and the sand was incredibly soft. The house had everything we needed and fit our family perfectly. Broadkill beach seems like the best kept secret and we can't wait to go back!

The Blue pearl is an excellent place to stay for young families. The waves are small and the beach was nearly always empty since you are on a private community beach. Our kids could play without the fear of a large wave taking them under. The beach house has an outdoor shower with hot and cold water which was SO helpful when washing the little ones. Sunrises are beautiful and the beach house had all of the essentials. We will definitely recommend and be returning!

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay here for the second time. The house was perfect for us in size and location, we loved being able to step right out to the beach. The house had everything we needed to stay in and cook but it is also so convenient to many restaurants and activities for the kids. It was a great stay for all of us.

Location is perfect. It is a quiet area with not much car traffic. Broadkill Store nearby had the nicest people and we could get bait closeby. My husband fished right outside the door and at the nearby jetty (suggested by Monica) almost every day. House was described well and very clean. There are ceiling fans in the living room and all the bedrooms which were quiet so we used them often since we did not need the AC all the time. Kitchen was well stocked, the only things I missed was a glass measuring cup and a flat griddle to make grilled cheese and pancakes. But we made due. I tend to do a lot of baking and cooking on vacation. My favorite thing: the enclosed porch had a new comfortable couch which allowed us to be outside in the shade in the mornings while listening to the waves. Monica responded quickly when we had trouble with the TV remote the first night. She even emailed me when she could not get me by text (I ran out of texting minutes). Food Lion in Milton had everything we needed but my favorite place for fresh fruit, veggies, and baked goods was Fresh Connection, a farm stand at 9598 Coastal Highway, Milford. This is the first time we vacationed in Delaware. We will be back and we will stay at Monica'a house again.

This beach house was the perfect place for us. It was clean, with a well-stocked kitchen. The owners just installed new floors and put a fresh coat of paint on the walls. You can tell this is their home and that they try to take good care of it. The super short jump over the small dunes to the beach made it so much more accessible for us to carry our physically disabled daughter. And the views from the windows in the family room and kitchen were just breathtaking. But what really made this rental a memorable one was Monica. She was not just responsive and easy to communicate with. Her kindness and hospitality made this stay an especially memorable one. I will never forget the way she worked so hard to make exhuasted special needs family feel supported and welcomed at her beach house. Thank you, Pearls, for a vacation that rested our bodies and fed our spirits.

Such a great property - everything you need for a fantastic escape from the hustle of the world. The views and access to the beach are amazing. Plenty of room inside and out for the family and the owners paid special attention to the details to ensure a great stay. Highly recommend!

This beach cottage could not be more perfectly located. It is directly on the beach in a quiet location making it a breeze to take our children for walks and down to play on the beach. With young children, getting to the actual beach can be an expedition, but this was a short :30 walk. The house itself was clean and had everything we needed. Monica was incredibly responsive by text. We had a great time!

We were very pleased with our stay at this property. The interior is kept up well. The exterior looks like it was just redone - looks great. But mostly important are the beach views and access. Tough to find smaller beachfront properties and this one fit the bill!

My family rented Monica's lovely (and DIRECTLY on the beach) home to celebrate our dad's retirement. It was a wonderfully relaxing weekend filled with long walks on the quiet shoreline, lots of seashell collecting, and delicious seafood from town nearby. Monica was super communicative and even offered to have us check-in early since the home was available! It was the perfect size for our group of 6. The two deck spaces (screened-in and exposed) were where we spent most of our time. And the kitchen had more than just the "essentials" which was great for us since we love to cook.

We absolutely loved staying at this house. The host is very responsive and goes out of her way to fix issues (it's a house things will go wrong) and went out of her way to make our stay for our 25th anniversary memorable. The road literally dead ends onto the beach and we loved the seclusion and yet easy accessibility to everything. Lots to see and do within 20-30 minutes, but if you want a quiet relaxing time this house is it. If the wind is a bit too much or it's a tad chilly, the screened in porch on the side of the house is a great place to hang out while still seeing the beach and the water. Not pictured are two lounge chairs and a high top table with 2 adirondack chairs on the deck. Both are a lovely addition that we enjoyed daily. Our teenager may have been a tad bored, but we are looking forward to staying here again and enjoying the peaceful beauty without a ton of people around. This house and location are a gem, we are so very glad we found it!!!

This was a perfect trip. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your place it was perfect ! My mother is on hospice care and can't do a lot so we need a place with a view and boy this house did not disappoint. This is my second time here and I will be back again.

very cozy home just a walk over the dunes to beach. It was very private, we enjoyed sitting on the deck looking at the beautiful sunsets. Just total relaxation. wouldn't suggest for families with teens as you are very remote they would be bored.

We’ve come to this house several years in a row because we love it so much. Location is unbeatable and house is so clean and comfortable. Really couldn’t ask for anything more! Owner is friendly and helpful from afar if you need anything. Hope to be back next year!
