We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. The proximity to beach access was a plus for two families with three toddlers. The only negative was the temporarily broken washer, however, Micah did communicate this with us ahead of time, so we knew we needed to pack some more items. We would definitely return. The location of the home was perfect and many days we almost had the beach to ourselves. The house was very clean and fit our family well and the screened in porch was perfection. The home does have WiFi and a washer and dryer, but the WiFi signal was very weak and did not reach the lower front bedroom and the washer overflowed the one time that I ran it. I reached out to the owner and they were very quick to respond, but unfortunately the only resolution that was presented was to wash very small loads as there seems to be an issue with the drain that can't be addressed until after the summer. We didn't want to spend our vacation watching the washer just in case it overflowed again, so we chose to wait and do laundry when we got home. That was a bummer since one of the perks of renting a house with a washer/dryer is to save yourself that work when you arrive home. Overall we did enjoy our stay and were glad to close out our summer here.

Check in was a breeze. Host communication was great. Host definitely took extra steps to make house really comfortable to stay in. Everything was stocked and everything in house worked. Screened in deck was a nice touch at nighttime to enjoy fireworks, etc. with no bugs.

I have rented beach houses in hawaii, California , OBX and have to saw that STD was very accommodating and comfortable. The extras like nice beach chairs, paddle boards, great screened in porch and outdoor shower, along with a variety of toiletries were greatly appreciated. It’s a charming well stocked beach house!!

We’ve stayed at this property before and as always, it’s such a pleasure. Everything was clean and your bedding and towels are included, which is such a HUGE help and convenience. The screened in porch is perfect to be able to enjoy the fresh air without getting eaten alive by the gnarly mosquitoes and flies. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We have all stayed in many VRBO apartments and houses both in the states and Europe. This one was by far the best we've had the pleasure in staying in. It was equipped with everything and more than we expected. The house itself is incredibly comfortable, especially the screened in porch. And the extras, like the Shibumi, the binoculars, even provided sheets and towels, made the stay that much better. This has nothing to do with the house but fellow, renters, bring bug spray and possibly long sleeved shirts and pants to ward off the jellyfish. But again, it was the perfect vacation.

A lovely place on Broadkill beach that had everything you could ask for! We loved the enclosed front porch and ate almost every meal there. It’s also close enough to get to Lewes and Rehoboth. Thank you for making our week on the Delaware bay an enjoyable one!

Our adult family of 5 + 2 pups enjoyed our 2 week stay at this well appointed beach house. Towels and sheets were provided, along with paper goods, kitchen items, beach items, games, etc. These extra touches along with a short, easy walk to the beach access made this a relaxing vacation!

We just returned from our week in Broadkill Beach. We have been coming here for years, but this was our first year staying at this house. We loved staying here...we were all very comfortable, the house was very clean and included many nice touches (things you could easily forget at home or forget to buy), and we loved being able to travel with our aging dogs! We used to own a house in nearby Milton, and would cross Coastal Highway to come enjoy nature at this quiet bay beach ALL the time! We miss our house very much, so we were thrilled to feel like we were almost "home" here! Communication with the owners was easy and definitely a plus...we hope to be back next year!!!

Pros: The property was clean and had everything we needed for a great week at the beach (chairs, paddle board, sun shade, kitchen had all the essentials, plenty of linens and blankets). The screened in porch was perfect for eating family dinners. The beach itself was so quite with gentle waves, which was great for the 3 yr old in our family. It was really was a beautiful property and just steps from the beach. The owner was extremely responsive as well. Considerations We found was the third room with queen bed was pretty tight and had a giant pole next to bed that was easy to run into. The master bedroom had a barn door that didn’t close properly and left about a 2 in gap on the side. This made it hard when the toddler took naps because it was on the same floor as kitchen and main living area (though the provided white noise machine helped!) WiFi is kind of spotty, wouldn’t necessarily rely on it if you have to work. These were small things though and we were able to make things work and had a very enjoyable week :)

The location was perfect. Just a short walk to the beach. The house was fully stocked with absolutely anything you would need. We loved the screened in porch for all of our family dinners. It was a great family vacation. My grandchildren had so much fun. We cant wait to come back.

My family and I with our 2 dogs had a wonderful stay at Broadkill. The house was perfect, welcoming, clean, spacious and very nicely decorated. The screened in front porch was the best hang out space. It kept nice and cool and bug free! The house comes equipped with everything which is much appreciated! The location of the house is just steps to beach access. We enjoyed several walks on the beach and along the neighborhood road. Very relaxing getaway. Thank you Micah and family for sharing your home! We look forward to hopefully staying there again in the future 😊

We want to say thank you for the wonderful stay at "SeastheDay". It was perfect for my husband, myself and our two adult sons. Very comfortable and so many little extra's. It would be hard to list them all. We didn't need to run out for anything. Very complete. And, Yes, Very Clean and inviting. The only drawback would be the low ceiling and beams on the lower level. Our son's are over 6ft. The ceiling was about 7ft. Beams a little lower. Go. Enjoy. But, watch your heads!

We had a great time! Micah had everything we could think of, including a baby gate which was so helpful! We went at the end of summer so there weren't many other people around, which made it so relaxing. And that screened in porch is to die for!

This property was very clean !!!! I am picky when it comes to cleanliness and I felt very comfortable staying here. We brought are two year old for her first beach trip and the location and beach was perfect. Not crowded and water was mellow. We will defiantly return !

We had a great time staying at Broadkill Beach. The house was very clean and was well stocked (extra cleaning supplies, paper products for kitchen/bath, linens, etc). The upstairs of the house seemed newly renovated and all of the beds were very comfortable. Our favorite part of the house was the large screened in porch. Perfect for any time of the day and night. The beach itself was great - only a few groups of people on the beach and perfect for dog friendly families.

This property is exactly as described on VRBO and we would definitely stay here again. Although it is a property that allows pets, it is was extremely clean and we were all very comfortable. The screened-in porch was one of the highlights and big hit with everyone!

Everyone enjoyed their stay. Space wasn’t as big as first thought (according to pictures). Staircase leading to second floor (main floor) were winding, a little steep and narrow. Great kitchen with a small indoor EIK area. A really nice outdoor screen enclosed porch with a large relaxing area and large, accommodating table. We all had a great time!
