My husband and I and our dog Pebbles loved our stay in Nokomis. I grew up in Venice and we have frequented the Venice area for several yrs to visit my brother and his family.We have stayed at several rental homes and by far this was the best out of all. Gina was a great host and very understanding when we could not make it the yr before due to the covid restrictions and worked with us to find another date. Nokomis is a great place to be centrally located to attractions to the north and south. We loved the salt water pool and the temperature was just perfect when we were there in May. The gardens were lovely and enhance the tropical feel when you sit out around the pool. Due to an issue with my back we were not able to use the kayaks but they looked in great shape. The only drawback was no cable, had streaming only which we are not used at our home but thinking of dropping satellite service and going to streaming instead.The location is quiet and neighborhood is good for walking fido. We are looking forward to future stays at this wonderful rental.

Spent a month at this fabulous home. Great pool the lushness of the greenery around the pool was just so calming and pretty. The home was very clean and spacious. Decorated in a Beach theme...made it so nice and fun. The garage has 2 kayaks and not far to go to put them in water. We did it and was so fun. Plus the garage has lots of Beach equipment you can use. A Beach canopy, a Beach ⛱ umbrella..lots of regular outdoor chairs and beach chairs. Great to take to the Drumming Circle on Nokomis Beach on Wednesday evenings. There are at least 5 beaches: 2 within 5 minutes of the home. Nokomis and the North Jetty Beach, the #1 ⛱ beach in America is within 20 minutes Siesta Key ⛱ Beach. There is a Dog Beach within 15 minutes, near Venice ⛱ Beach...known for finding Shark's Teeth.. Gaspirilla Island is a must see and just 40 minutes away.. State Park is at the end of Gaspirilla Island. Downtown Venice has a lovely shopping district...several great restaurants ..Daquari Deck, an Italian restaurant and Crossent shop... I am renting again next year for sure!

This was a beautiful home, very clean, well stocked and beautifully decorated pool home just a short drive from the beach. Gina was a great communicator, always available and very accommodating. Would highly recommend this home and will surely be back!

My family and I had an amazing time at the home. The house is located in quite neighborhood. The home has everything you need. No need bring extra things. The home has it all! It’s very well equipped. The patio area is amazing. We spent most of our time by the pool area and enjoyed the bbq a lot. Beach is 5 minutes away. Publix is near by. Gina is a great host. We will be back soon!!!

I love this property so much!! I booked this property during Covid to celebrate my 50th birthday with my family. I wanted somewhere we could all be together and be social distancing from all others near the beach. Mission accomplished!! This home provided all of that and more. The home itself was spacious for our party of seven and offered everything we needed for a comfortable week. The screened in lanai, outdoor kitchen with lounge area and pool made our week. My grand girls ages 11, 8 and 5 loved the outdoor area with their own private pool . The home not only came with pool toys, beach chairs and two bicycles , it also had two kayaks for the renters to use. We used these everyday. An easy walk to the end of the block and you can drop right into Lyons Bay. My husband and son in law took the kayaks out in the morning’s to fish. They not only caught fish but they saw manatee and dolphins in the bay. This is a beautiful location. The home owner was wonderful and answered all of my questions in a quick and timely manner. She was also very helpful in providing local knowledge regarding restaurants, beaches and other activities. I look forward to renting this property again. I would definitely give it more than 5 stars!

Owners description was completely accurate. Beautiful, clean, well decorated and updated. Layout of the house was nice for separation of bedrooms and TV areas. Pool was awesome as well as the kayaks and bikes we used. Pool toys and lots of extra beach towels. Safe neighborhood for morning walks within minutes of several beaches. Outdoor grill and patio perfect for our evening meals. So much more to say but best of all it felt comfortable and homey! We would definitely stay here again.

This home is amazing! It is close to many beaches as we visited four different ones! The house was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. The kitchen had all the supplies that we needed to cook with and plenty of towels for a family of six. The pool was very large and the perfect temperature. The owner was great and worked with us on some minor issues. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at this location. The house was perfect for our family with plenty of space. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. You will love the Lanai...so much space. Besides the pool and beautiful landscaping you have the kitchen area, eating table, lounge chairs, and then a great space with couch and chairs to sit and relax in the shade or enjoy a cup of coffee. Access to water for kayaking was just around the corner and it was a good area to bike. You can easily bike to Nokomis beach or Pop's (local restaurant). We had kids and they biked...mostly sidewalks to get to beach or ice cream shop. We will definitely be back!

We stayed in this home for 10 days and although we had rain for part of the trip, we had a fabulous time. The yard is beautiful, the pool is large and relaxing and the outdoor seating areas feel like a whole another room of the house. Inside we were very comfortable too. The bikes were a wonderful addition to our trip. My 19 year old son rose to the beach most days and he and my husband rode to Sarasota on the nearby Legacy Trail. We never had the opportunity to use the kayaks but hope to if we are fortunate to stay here again! Publix and Walgreens are very nearby and downtown Venice is 5 minutes.

Hey, we just want to tell you that your place is amazing! It was such a calm, relaxing beachy place. Our weather was perfect and we did everything: kayaking, biking, relaxing in your beautiful pool oasis, beach time and drum circle. Your kayaks are super and when we were launching them at that little park by the house, we saw a dolphin surface twice and also saw the eagle’s nest in a tall pine tree on your road! The screened in pool area is so beautiful all lit up at night with the palm trees and lush plants inside! What a unique touch! We ate out at night and then spent our evenings poolside and were even able to take an evening swim one night under the magical lights and the water was luxuriously warm! We will definitely come back for a longer stay so that we can enjoy dinners and grilling on that outdoor kitchen. We did cook breakfasts at home and were happy with how well equipped and organized your kitchen was. You thought of everything! The bedding is beautiful, the shower tile so pretty, everything was very clean and thoughtfully laid out. We felt pampered. We enjoyed eating out at Pops and Casey Key Fish House. We rent a few vacation rentals on our travels each year and have been doing this for many years. This one is now on my personal favorites list! We didn’t want to leave, but we will definitely be back!

Close to the beach, Pop’s Sunset Grill and the Kayaks were great too!

False advertising for the condition of the property as it was for our trip. "The home is kept clean top to bottom after each stay". We arrived on 12-14-19 to find the house less than clean, dirty tile floors (grout filthy), carpet dirty at entry ways to master bedroom and bath, kitchen sink greasy and food left in drain catch and bathroom shower with mold on tile just to name a few. We spent 3 hours on our 1st day waiting for cleaning people to complete a more thorough job. Some issues were the result of delayed maintenance such as the overgrown and dead plants which were advertised as "beautiful landscaping" and a "pool sanctuary not like the picture we were given. Other delayed maintenance we found was evident in the lack of lighting in the lanai, bulbs burned out for grilling and landscaping. We were unable to use the "heated" pool due to inadequate "solar" heating system which did not provide a temperature comfortable enough for use it for the entire trip. The owner sited her own experience with a similar advertisement which was unfortunately our experience... Other problems with the home are too numerous to detail but the amenities included bikes which we found to be in need of repair. My husband spent more vacation time taking one bike to a shop for tire repair before we could use it. We were somewhat surprised at the amount of fees included in the price for owner, cleaning and pet fees. No cushions were included for the chase lounges which is a basic comfort. This was our first experience using VRBO and our previous rental of houses with pool on Marco island were managed by an on site manager company. Our experiences were very positive! We could not recommend this house based on our experience.

We really enjoyed our time at this property. The neighborhood is a nice get away location, pretty quiet, relaxed easy drive to the beach, some good local restaurants nearby. Gina was extremely helpful. The pool was a great size but the water was colder than we expected in Nov. The beach was great, plenty of space and enough people around to make it fun. A real highlight were the two kayaks: so nice to explore on the waterways just 5 mins from the house. We were out there with Dolphins and Manatee. So cool. Our kids loved it. Overall, a really enjoyable thanksgiving vacation.

I love this area..the home and pool area added so much to our vacation...the pool with the plush greenery surrounding it made our evenings at the pool area so nice..we cooked out on the grill... played games under the ceiling fans also. Location to Nokomis Beach, Venice Beach and a short drive to Gasparilla Island was awesome...we rode the bikes in the late afternoons. They had kayaks available, we were just to busy to use them. Something to plan for next time. Home was decorated with the beach theme. I loved all of the beach pictures. Lovely granite counter tops in the kitchen.. I highly recommend this home and surroundings. Plsn on coming again!!

Lovely property, great pool. Excellent neighborhood and location with great amenities for activities, unfortunately we had a rainy week and didn't get to utilize them, but the pool was great for entertaining our four grandkids. Without it, it would have been a very long week. Just pack your clothes and groceries, everything else you think you may need is furnished. Plenty of room for a family of eight and better as we were able to bring our pets. The only other item I would recommend if you are traveling with your pet is bring along a crate. This gave us peace of mind leaving them when we went out knowing they would be safe and the property was protected. There is also a rental guide which was quite helpful in informing you of do's and don'ts. Would highly recommend this property. Thanks for a great week!

Great stay, close to numerous restaurants and shops and Nokomis beach was awesome

Great time spending 4th of July week at the house. It's all about the pool. I have stayed in many houses in the Venice/Nokomis area and this pool dwarfs most of the others. Very large and even with 8+ people in it you still feel spread out. The water was clean and the temperature perfect. The outdoor sitting area was huge with a very comfy couch, fridge, and grill. The foliage inside the lanai added a nice touch as well as the lights the came on automatically at night. The house was fully equipped with anything you may need... beach supplies, coolers, bikes, kayaks.. We loved that there were two "tv areas", so the kids could sit in one room and the adults in another. Easy access to Nokomis and the North Jetty beaches where the view of fireworks was awesome. Supermarkets, restaurants, shopping all within a very short drive. Gina was an excellent host who was easily accessible to answer any questions that we had. Look forward to returning in the future.

As a father of 6 and husband of 1, it’s a big task to go on vacation. But we’ve done it many times over the years in Siesta Key. This year, we decided to stay close to North Jetty Park and this place – especially the gigantic pool – made the difference! The pics don’t do it justice, it’s is HUGE (compared to many other rentals we’ve stayed at) and the area surrounding the pool is awesome… screened in, plenty of seating, just relaxing! PS: Gina was super responsive and helpful - a great stay! 👍�🏽�

We loved the location .The pool was lovely . The house may have been a little small for us , but we were outside all the time so it didn't matter. The host was also very accommodating.

The house is beautifully painted and decorated, with an open floor plan, numerous gathering spots and reading nooks. The master bedroom and the dining area open out to the pool and lovely gardens. The space is open, spacious, and inviting. We enjoyed our Christmas dinner in the outdoor dining area. The house was clean as a whistle and well-equipped with every pot, pan, dish, and gadget we could want. Very comfortable beds and plenty of places to unpack our things and settle in. Gina and Michelle were extremely responsive when we had questions, resolving any issues immediately. The home is in a quiet and park-like neighborhood, good for morning walks. We walked the beach at sunrise and found beautiful shells. It was a short bike ride from the house to the Legacy Trail which we rode in both directions. We found it best to cross Tamiami Trail at Colonia Lane (about one mile from the house) and access the Legacy Trail at the Nokomis Community Park. We will surely be back! Thank you for a relaxing and rejuvenating vacation.

Was a beautiful comfortable home. Watched 4th of July fireworks from the pool! Clean and ready for us as stated by owner. All maintenance folks showed up on time (yard, trash, and pool.) Close to water, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. And grill outside was great for cookouts and not heating up house. Big TVs were great for those afternoon Florida storms. Lighting around pool was well planned and impressive. Enjoyed our stay.

There are a number of things we enjoyed about our stay. The house is well appointed from kitchen to bath. The furnishings are up-to-date, the decor is crisp and clean and there was plenty of living space for our family of 5. But most of all we enjoyed the outside porch and pool! The home is very private and the atmosphere is serene. Our kids were happy to stay in the pool for the entire time but we managed to pull them away for the beach which is only a short drive away. The beaches are breathtaking! And, the chairs and umbrella provided were top rate. There are lots of restaurants close by. However if you want to cook in the kitchen it is well stocked for food prep and there is a Publix down the road. The owner is very organized and has lots of tips and notes. She has thought of everything and is very easy to work with. And, what a treat to have our dog along for the trip. We hope to return for a longer stay in the future.

We were the first family to rent this property and it proved to be everything promised and more. It was adorably decorated, comfortable and contained everything we could have needed. There were beach chairs, umbrellas and towels to enjoy the maginfcent beaches, and two mountain bikes to explore the friendly neighborhood. Make sure to bring or rent kayaks or paddle boards! Right down the block is a cove to launch them into the most amazing bay. Our first night we were welcomed by two playful dolphins and later was surprised by a manatee just as curious about us as we were it! The pool area is perfect to hang out around and grill or just relax. It's lit up at night and so serene and quiet. Most of our time at the house was spent in the pool area. We fell in love with the neighborhood and location of this home. Easy access to the bay and very close to Nokomis beach. Venice is easily accessible as well with little traffic and less chaos than many touristy areas. We found many great restaurants and met some really great people. The owner, Gina, was fabulous to deal with and responded immediately with any questions. We are extremely sad to leave and can't wait to come back again!!!
