Great property, great management, and great staff.

We all had an amazing time. The house manager Alberto, and his wife Rosa were so nice and accommodating. The food as promised was great and the house was beautiful and immaculate. The beach wedding vow ceremony came together beautifully with everyone pitching in. Alberto and Salomon from the house next door worked together to get chairs and wood for the arch and helped us make a fire pit on the beach for the post ceremony hangout. The divers in our group enjoyed really nice dives every morning at the nearby Cabo Pulmo Marine reserve. We saw big schools of fish, bull sharks, and even got to snorkel with a pretty darn large Whale shark off the dive boat. Starting this Sunday no more Covid test requirement to for entry back to the US! We are already thinking of returning but next time flying in and utilizing the runway by the house. 😄. And thanks to Dennis the owner for his help with all the arrangements to make our stay memorable.

The property and location are amazing - a remote and gorgeous paradise. Rossy and Alberto are incredible caretakers. We had a really fabulous time.

Casa Frailes exceeds expectations in every way. The setting is majestical, with the Gulf of California on one side and a beautiful desert mountain setting on the other. The house is expertly constructed with attention to detail throughout. The furnishings are tasteful and comfortable. The property management team, Alberto and Rosie, go out of their way to ensure you have a wonderful stay. Diving and fishing in this area is some of the best in world and you can arrange to be picked up for both on the beach right in front of the house. There are whales and rays and turtles and much more to see. Dennis was a pleasure to deal with during the whole process. Casa Frailes is a very special place.

What an amazing week at Casa Bahia! Words and even pictures can barely describe how amazing this property and location are and how relaxed you will feel during your stay. I believe the words of one of the members of our travel party on night one summarized it the best: "I can't believe I am here!" The home is stunning and all four master bedrooms are beautiful with huge bathrooms and closets and amazing doors that fold away to open up your room to the beautiful surroundings. Dennis was great to work with prior to our trip, helping us to make up a shopping list so that Alberto, Rosy and Maria could have our house stocked and ready for our arrival. Our week started with a bit of craziness, a northeast snowstorm was threatening to derail our arrival into Mexico. Dennis was excellent to work with again during this time, arranging for us to arrive at the house one day early as we had to make a last minute change our flights. When we arrived at the home, we were not only blown away by the amazing views and style of the home, but also by the wonderful meal Alberto, Rosy and Maria had prepared for us. The stress of the last minute rearranging of our trip melted away instantly. Our week was filled with many, many whale sightings right in front of the house, including a mother humpback attempting to teach her calf how to breach. Just amazing. While the area is very quiet, there is still plenty to do at and around the house. The pool and hot tub are a great place to watch the whales and rays (and occasional sea lion) in the sea below, the beach sand is so soft on your feet and you can walk for what feels like forever, there are kayaks and paddleboards to take out and enjoy the water, and there is great hiking in the area. We enjoyed a whale watch and a fishing trip out of Cabo Pulmo and had a few beers, tacos and huevos rancheros in "town." We cannot say enough good things about Alberto, Rosy and Maria. They made us feel so welcome and the house was always spotless. Every night we enjoyed margaritas and guacamole that they prepared for us and a few nights we enjoyed delicious meals that they also cooked for us. Alberto even helped us change a flat tire on our last day before we headed back to the airport. We have been home for less than three days and we are already daydreaming about returning to Casa Bahia!

Our family (7 adults, 2 toddlers) gathered at Dennis and Leah's beautiful home for our first vacation together in years. We spent nearly all our time by the pool and enjoyed every minute of it. We all loved the stunning views, peaceful surroundings, and friendly and helpful staff - we paid Rosy to cook most of our dinners, and they were all delicious. Beds were very comfortable and there was more than enough room for everyone - it's great for a large group. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place to get away from it all with your own family or group of friends!

We were looking for a getaway for our entire family for the holidays -- 4 daughters in their 20's, son in law and 18 month granddaughter -- and we found it here! This amazing house is away from the crowds in Cabo San Lucas and a slice of paradise. The house is absolutely gorgeous and there is no detail over looked. From the moment we entered -- with Alberto bringing our bags inside -- we felt a sense of relaxation. the house was already stocked with food, and dinner was being prepared as we walked in. Dennis was great to work with during our booking and answered any question promptly. Rossy and Alberto made dinner every night (which was a treat that I highly recommend adding to your stay) and at 5 they had margaritas and guacamole ready. The nearby scuba diving and fishing boat rental was another highlight of the trip. Otherwise we spent long days by the pool or in the ocean relaxing and spending wonderful family time together. The house was well stocked with kayaks, SUP, and inflatable pool toys. We can't wait to return to this fabulous house!

What a vacation! The house is and has everything that you could want for a wonderful vacation.

The house and location were pure bliss and hosts couldn't have been warmer or more responsive! All around the best vacation we've had in years. The house is stunning, immaculate and stocked with EVERYTHING - from beach gear like paddle boards, kayaks, snorkels, life jackets... to food and toiletries. Los Frailes is in Cabo Pulmo national marine park with great snorkeling and diving. Sea of Cortez was 80 degrees and gentle enough for our 6 year old to swim safely. We saw the Milky Way from the pool at night! Recommend renting a 4WD and asking Alberto (property manager) to meet you at the airport. They'll stock the fridge, cook delicious meals and help with any special requests eg they rented a body board for my son. Dennis the owner was so helpful and responsive with local tips. Our stay was magical - can't recommend this place enough!! Already counting the days until we return.

It was a slower, less hurried pace - which led to the unusual and highly sought after "time and space" to reflect, dream, and pray. What a gift!Working with the home owner, Dennis, was seamless and exceptional. You can tell he loves this property and he wants you to have the best experience possible as well. The property caretakers, Alberto and Rosi were...incredible! Meeting them and interacting with them during our stay was a highlight of our trip. My family of 8 just returned from a wonderful stay in los frailes. The house is even nicer than the pictures and the area is beautiful. Dennis and the team at the house are great and helpful. Don’t think twice and book this house. We will be back. :).

We just returned from a magical Christmas week at Los Frailes. Dennis and Leah have created a perfect paradise on the East Cape of Los Cabos. Thank you for sharing your home. It was literally one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. Gourmet indoor and outdoor kitchen and an outdoor deck pool area that we literally never left. We saw beautiful fish in the water and stars in the ski. The house is gorgeous and the caretakers Ubaldo and Aurora are so nice and helpful. We recommend ordering groceries in advance. All we had to do was relax and enjoy the beauty. We even saw a whale! Dennis even connected us with a wonderful local diving and tours guide named Arturo who helped arrange fishing, diving and hiking. Don't miss your chance to experience this lovely home and wonderful hosts.

We were lucky enough to find this gem; it exceeded our expectations in every way! The house is gorgeous and the layout is perfect for allowing everyone to have their own space in the four private suites while the large kitchen/dining/living was the perfect spot to gather. The views are literally breathtaking and there isn’t a room without a view. The outdoor space is equally as nice! The infinity pool with swim up bar was a fun treat and the outdoor kitchen was killer! We traveled with my 80 year old in-laws, sister, and our two children (7 and 9). The first evening, our boys were lucky enough to meet some locals on the beach that allowed them to release baby turtles into the ocean- an experience they will not forget! Our days were filled with snorkeling, body surfing, fishing, and just relaxing. This is the perfect place if you are looking to relax off the beaten path! Ubaldo and Aurora (on-site property managers) were lovely. Thank you Leah and Dennis for sharing your incredible property with our family. It was a trip we won’t forget! Hope to visit again!!

There is no other way to describe our stay as anything but just perfect! The home is wonderful with all its unique character and the amenities are superb. The pool and deck area are laid out to give you the feel of being right at the water’s edge. The outdoor cooking space is just plain cool! Enjoyed cooking on the wood grill so much that plan on putting a similar unit in the new home build we are planning! Inside the house is neat as well…each of the 4 bedrooms offer a unique view and the beds are so comfortable. The beach goes on for miles and is awesome for long walks…there were so few people walking it that it felt like you had it entirely to yourself. Maybe the best thing about our stay was the way we were treated…super attentive and helpful beyond what was expected. Dennis made sure we were all set well in advance of our stay and provided local insight that was really helpful. Ubaldo is a super nice man and was a pleasure to work with…I don’t speak any Spanish and he was patient in trying to understand my questions. A helpful tip is to communicate to him in writing which he could then translate…I also downloaded the iTranslate app which worked great at the home as well. Ubaldo’s wife, Aurora is a FANTASTIC cook and we enjoyed a couple meals she prepared…wonderful local recipes with flavors I can still taste There is as much or as little local activity as you want…most of the time we just relaxed around the pool and enjoyed the beach walks. We did do a couple things that were pretty neat…we brought in a local musician one of the evenings that Aurora cooked and we enjoyed the music and had fun dancing. We brought in masseuses and had a day of couple’s massages which was super relaxing. Whale watching was nice as well with lots of whales in the area the day we were out. And we went to Cabo Pulmo one night for dinner…interesting and made you feel like you had stepped back in time in the small fishing village. I could go on and on about our stay, but I’ll end in saying we hope to come back someday soon with friends. We have already recommended it to people we work with…it’s a long drive down a gravel road to get there, but way worth it if you are looking to unplug and enjoy the natural surroundings. I am still daydreaming about my time at Casa Bahia de Los Frailles. The house is a labor of love, the attention to detail is amazing. Each bedroom is perfection, they all feel like the master bedroom. The easy flow between the house, pool, and beach make you feel part of the gorgeous surroundings. I can't wait to go back and explore the area more. From paddle boarding, kayaking and snorkeling to watching amazing sunsets, all on what feels like a private beach there is something for everyone! I highly recommend getting away from some of the more touristy areas and finding your own slice of paradise in La Ribera

This was the most perfect bachelorette party we coupd have imagined. The house is absolutely beautiful, with dramatic views of the infinity pool and beach that welcome you at the front door. We felt like royalty the entire time, even in the beautiful bathrooms with showers that have windows overlooking the bay. Just breathtaking!

This is an unbelievable 4 bedroom home with every amenity. It is located right on a bay in the Sea of Cortez, just north of Cabo. Every room has a wonderful view of the bay. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. There is a large deck with an infinity pool and a swim up bar. The deck has a built in BBQ. We spent a relaxing and fun time. Well worth the price! We hope to go again soon. Bob

I’m not sure words can even describe how incredible Dennis’s house and location are, pictures don’t even do it justice. The gorgeous, yet understated house is a dream with views from every room out to the turquoise water blending between the infinity pool and ocean. I went on a girls trip with 8 girls and there was more than enough room for us to all be extremely comfortable. Each room could be a master bedroom with king beds and private bathrooms. The house is secluded, which makes it feel like your own private paradise, but just 10-15mns away are a number of adorable restaurants with delicious food. I’ve only been gone a week and have been fantasizing daily about going back! Thank you Dennis & Leah for sharing your perfect patch of the world with us!

I had the pleasure of joining a group of friends recently, for a week's stay at Casa Bahia de los Frailes, a beautiful new beachfront home on a gorgeous bay in the Sea of Cortez. The house is only about a 90 minute drive from the airport at San Jose del Cabo, but it might as well be on the moon. With few other homes on the bay, we were able to enjoy quiet, peaceful hours, dining on the patio, swimming in the pool - and it's amazing swim-up bar, soaking in the spa, sipping cocktails around the sunken fire pit, or simply relaxing on a lounge chair with a good summer read. When we wanted more, stand-up paddle boards and kayaks were available for trips around the calm waters of this protected bay. Reef snorkeling was a short drive away, on the other side of the point, as was excellent fishing from the nearby village of Cabo Pulmo, where we also found several excellent restaurants when we didn't feel like cooking. We enjoyed catered dinners at home, starting with guacamole and frozen margaritas. A great deal of thought has obviously been put into the building of this house, as seemingly nothing has been left out that we could possibly want in a beachfront rental home: a water filtration system provides drinkable water right from the tap, a rarity in Baja California; spacious rooms, large bathrooms with open showers leading to outdoor areas; king size beds; lots of closet space; a well-equipped chef's kitchen; multiple patios (think breakfast in the shade on the mountain side, dinner in the shade on the east-facing ocean side); comfortable furnishings throughout. Air conditioning is available, but we never needed to turn it on, due to the cooling breezes that kept us comfortable. One thing: stock up on groceries and beverages in San Jose del Cabo before heading off to the house, as not much is available in the towns near Los Frailes. Another option is to have the hosts arrange for this, as well as the aforementioned catered meal options. Oh, and bring your own snorkeling gear, as none is provided, though it can be rented in Cabo Pulmo, so not a big problem if you don't feel like shlepping it from home. So go, bring friends and/or family. Be prepared to go off the grid and really get away from it all. Take long walks on the beach, hunting for sea shells. And be sure to stay up late some nights, take in the billions of stars that we city dwellers never get to enjoy. Heck, sleep outside on one of the comfy chaises, and watch the Milky Way fly overhead.

We needed a break from the City and wow! This is it... about 30 miles from Cabo San Lucas on a pristine beach overlooking Los Frailes Bay and 5 minutes from Cabo Pulmo diving, snorkeling and fishing. The house is an architectural masterpiece. Beds treally cozy with great views. Imagine! you are on "solar" yet have all the luxury needs you could want: air conditioning, light, Wolf Stove and even a Chef that made two fantastic meals. I vegged out on the patio watching the Bay with hundreds, no thousands, of rays leaping in the air and splatting down with an echo. That was only interrupted by rooster-fish crashing in no more than 10 feet from shore. The only caveat we note.... Stock up on food and for the week. It is an hour drive to a major market near the airport. The house had all the basics you need like olive oil, spices, lots of ice, paper towels etc.
