This property isn't flashy, but it has 6 bedrooms, 12 beds and is a block from the beach. Also next door to the grocery store and walking distance to 5-10 restaurants. We would have appreciated more towels available given that we had 14 guests. We didn't have A/C on the 2nd floor one night and could not get a response from the owner for 16 hours. That was incredibly frustrating but was resolved the next day. Set your expectations appropriately and enjoy the waves!

The location was amazing, it was a safe part of town. The grocery store nearby was incredibly convenient and was super close to the beach and public beach access. Checking in was a huge hassle, we were told to contact the host day before and the day of to let them know what time we plan to check in. We never received a response even after I expressed my worries about whether we would be able to check-in or not. Al did not reach out until right at 4 pm after I let him know that the door code we were provided did not work. Once we got into the house, the photos were similar to the listing. But it was not clean. We found tissues and beer cans in the living room and it was obvious the property had not been properly cleaned. The bedding was gross and had blood stains on it and sand all in the bed. This caused our first day of the trip to be spent cleaning. We had to wash all bedding, sweep, and mop. The drawers in the living room had literal junk in them that I'm assuming people have just left behind. This is definitely not the way you would want to spend your vacation by wondering if you are getting your stuff mixed up with other people's junk. The pool pump/filter didn't really work and the pool stayed generally dirty the entire trip. But the backyard area was a really nice touch and was nice to have. The showers were small, which I understand you can't change. But when you would shower upstairs, it would leak into the downstairs. On the last night, the window in one of the upstairs bedrooms literally fell in, in the middle of the night. It was like nothing was holding it in. Overall, it wasn't the worst I've seen. But, for the money you're paying it definitely could have been better. Especially when we are talking about basic cleaning. I'm not sure if it is just the cleaning person who isn't doing their job, but something definitely needs to be done.

The house was okay. I want to start off by saying we aren’t sure if there’s been some time in between us and the last guests who stayed. Overall, the house wasn’t very clean. There was dead bugs smashed on the walls random places and flies everywhere. The sheets were clean and in bags, but some of them smelled like smoke. We ended up washing the sheets again before putting them on the beds. One bed was missing a sheet as well. The towels that were the provided linens also smelled like smoke so we rewashed all of them. A few of the shower curtains had mold on the bottom of them as well. When we first arrived, the house was open, which we were thankful for because the code we were given was incorrect. We reached out to Al and it took a little, but he did get back to us. Al was easy to contact, which was a positive. We loved having two refrigerators, however they both leaked and would not keep our food cold. We basically just ended up keeping our drinks in there. The backyard area was super nice and we loved it. The location also was great. Being just behind the grocery store was very helpful and it was just a short walk to the beach or a restaurant.

The property was very nice and updated. My group of friends and myself had an amazing time and loved the outdoor space. It was also very nice being super close to the beach. The host was also amazing and had good communication.

Enjoyed everything but was very disappointed about the pool and communication. Also, we did experience some bug and mice issues. The yard was big and enjoyable. Having more than 2 bathrooms was nice, since family came in.

Didn't like the cigarette buds all over yard and a bucket full by fire pit. The two fridges were a god send but both leaked water at back of unit inside and cou ld have been cleaner. Everything you need was available. Grocery store right across the street which was wonderful however the noise with the trucks in the am was allot. But they need the deliveries. Over all a great time and would defiantly consider renting again. Ty

Overall nice place to stay, showers are small like everyone else has said but we took our shampoo outside and used the outdoor shower a lot so we made it work. Two bedrooms upstairs don't have a door so that made it a little difficult for the baby to sleep. We took dogs with us and they loved the back yard. Grocery store right next door was super convenient. I'd stay again.

Property was as advertised with a pleasant surprise. Al fenced in entire yard in June. Best pet friendly find in MB. Yard was a big hit.. No complaints. Work in progress with older home...great time with ample space.

Our group of 24 rambunctious 18 year olds had a fabulous week celebrating the end of our school years. The owner was very easy to work with. Thank you!

Overall it was a good experience. The house could use some updating and the showers were small. The pool and fire pit were in great condition.

It was the PERFECT place for our boys! The location was excellent! The yard was a HUGE HIT!!! Played lots of corn hole & grilled. Nice picnic tables, fire place & outdoor seating area! The pool was nice! Lots of beds! Al was very helpful & GREAT!!!! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our boys!!!

We visited with a group of friends to celebrate our college graduation and spend time together before going home for the summer! The house was exactly what we were looking for-- slept a lot of people and was an ideal location. The backyard and pool area was definitely a highlight that we enjoyed a lot. Thank you for having us! The bathrooms are its biggest problem, shower area is so small, feels like those in cruise ships or maybe even smaller. Great location to be at the beach in couple minutes. Fire place is great and so is the swimming pool. We were unable to heat the pool last two days of our stay. Host was great at communicating.

Our overall experience was fantastic for the money; walking distance to the beach, stores, and restaurants. We used the onsite pool daily. Having two refrigerators was an added bonus and greatly appreciated! Will most likely be back for another vacation!

Friends and I rented this house for Beach Week and it was a wonderful stay for students. Neighbors were great and Al was fine with everything. It was an overall great stay.

My ultimate frisbee team stayed here for the High Tide tournament and it was exactly what we needed. Plenty of bed space and the perfect balance between nice enough to live in for a week but not too nice that we were worried about anything expensive breaking. The landlord was a very nice man and he even came over within an hour when we were having issues with the pool heater. I will definitely tell my team to rent from Albert again next year.

Excellent location with prime access to the beach & restaurants. Very comfortable with a comfy feel. It was ample space for my large family. I would love too stay again.

We had a great family vacation at Cherry Grove! So much to do within walking distance of the house, first night we were tired from the drive yet we were hungry but nobody wanted to drive. We ordered from Basils and just walked like 2 minutes to pick up our pizza!! We loved the pool, kids are already asking when we're going back! Petra is a great hostess, very pleasant and helpful! Al was also very pleasant!! Thank you both for everything! We would love to come visit again in the future!!

Our group of 14 had a great experience at Al’s Property. The house was very large and suited all of our needs. The backyard and proximity to the beach and local shops made it a no brained to book. Would stay again

Came in with 22 family members for family reunion. Property was as advertised. The pool was a rockstar with the kids as was being 1 block off of the beach. The a/c was a welcome reprieve from the nc heat/humidity for those not acclimatized. The kitchen was acceptable if a bit rudimentary for 22 people. The outdoor gas grill was also a rockstar cooking for 22 people. Overall would return again despite the house being a bit old and having some old house quirks that were not detractors to our reunion.

The pool and games in the back yard were a real plus. The weather was very warm and the relaxing time at the pool was a great relief after time on the beach! The beach was also a short walk from the house which was a plus for all my family members. Thank you Al for all your help, answers to my questions and all the help you gave us in preparing for our family reunion in Myrtle Beach!

Me and my group had a great time. When we showed up on the first day the house was clean and ready for us. Throughout the week the owner was quick and helpful for when we had questions or needed something. I would recommend coming here if you have a big group and want to be close to the beach. The area is nice, everything is within walking distance. Me and my group are already talking about coming back because we loved it!

Nice Stay

We had a great time at this house. The property was clean, there was plenty of space for all 14 of us. We made use of the pool and grill almost everyday. And it just a short walk to the beach. Al and his team did a great job taking care of all our needs. I highly recommend this rental for anyone with a large group.

This is a wonderful house, and is perfect for both quiet getaways and larger gatherings. The interior is beautiful, and Al is a fantastic host. He was always making sure everything was okay and everyone was having a good time. I would highly recommend this house to anyone!

We really enjoyed our mini get away.The house was big enough for everyone, we even had beds that occupy only one person The kids and young adult enjoyed the pool.We tried to put the heat on to warm it a lil but they swim in it just like it was The house was fully stock with cleaning supplies and toiletries.Some wanted to know when can we go back.Thanks for everything

The owner was very nice and accommodating. The heated pool and gas grill were perfect for our spring visit. Some of the kids got to sit and talk with him personally. He worked hard to make our visit seem like we were personal friends not just guests.
