This home was wonderful. It was clean easy to check in and check out. The area was quiet and a family setting. The lake was clean the pool was great.

Every year our group of guys take a motorcycle trip for a long weekend. This year there were 10 of us ranging in age from early 50's to mid 60's. We decided to ride around this part of PA and I selected the Big Blue Cabin and it was perfect for our needs. It had enough beds for each of us to have their own bed and enough baths to handle the group. When we arrived the place was as advertised and all the guys thought it was great. If we decide to ride in that area again I'll definitely try to bilk this place again.

My sisters and I were looking to take our 80 year old parents on a nice weekend trip. We decided on Jim Thorpe, PA, and were happy we did. Our Big Blue cabin house was perfect - it was only about 10 mins away from JT and it was very spacious with 2 large living room/family room type areas on the main floor. My family likes to play board and card games and we did a lot of that at the house later at night. Loved the huge driveway - fit all 4 of our cars easily. We didn't get to enjoy it but it had a great wrap around porch with picnic tables and lounge chairs. The town was awesome too - would've like to have one more day.

House is in a great location with ample space for a medium group. Plenty of amenities to make the time away easy and functional. Great location. Darci always responds to any questions we have.

Our family had a great getaway at big blue cabin! Easy booking process, a great house for a large family the living space in the great room and porch was comfy and spacious. The master bedroom and bathroom is beautifully done .Our grandchildren enjoyed all the games, piano and amenities. A great house to be altogether and enjoy the beautiful views and make memories!

we so enjoyed the time with our family this past week! The house is great....would just add that maybe some updated LR furniture and a large coffee table would add a lot to the main living area with the dining room/ kitchen ! Otherwise a great home !!

We had such a nice time connecting with family this weekend at your home! We had 12 adults and everyone fit comfortably in the house. There were plenty of beds, and the living area was great for hanging out. Plenty of parking, and neighborhood was quiet- took a lovely walk together down to the lake! Thanks so much for opening your home to us!

Darci our host was very easy to communicate with, and the house was perfect for our family. She provided a very well stocked house. The children had great fun playing in the spacious yard. We will definitely be back!

My family had a fun stay in the Poconos. The house met our expectations. Favorite parts were the deck and the fire pit. The weather was gorgeous so we enjoyed the outdoors. The lake and the pool provided plenty of entertainment.

Highly recommend this property for family groups looking to get away. With its ease of access and location, it is a perfect rental for the pocono area. This property has three large rooms that were perfect for both young and old and allowed plenty of space for multiple activities. Whether it was to play pool, play cards or board games or just sit and talk while sitting next to the fire, this was the perfect property. The house's interior design and ammenities were well layed out and perfect for the inclemate weather. The kitchen had everything needed and within reach. The beds and bathrooms were comfortable and plentiful. The sauna was a much needed relaxation timeout for the adults. The property owners replied immediately to communications and were incredibly accomidating to any requests we had. I can not recommend this property enough.

We stayed at this property for a week in August for our joint family vacation. Our ages ranged from 86 to 7. The house was extremely clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay and more. Having three different floors with rooms and bathrooms worked great for our families to stay and have space from each other. The community itself was really nice and well kept, especially compared to other communities we’ve stayed in during past trips. The pool, basketball courts, tennis courts and lake access were all clean and well kept. The kids enjoyed them as well as the numerous playgrounds around the community. We enjoyed white water rafting, hawk falls, hickory run state park and the butterfly museum that were all within 20mins of the house. The sunsets from the lake access nearby are a must see!! The only negative was an incident involving one of our bikes being stolen during the middle of the night which ended up in the lake the next morning. This was of no fault of the owners but be aware to not leave bikes or other things outside overnight without locking them up. Darci was extremely responsive before and during our stay. We highly recommend this property to those looking for a spacious, clean and wonderful property for a Poconos Vaction.

This place worked so well for our family of 8, and Darci was super-responsive. The living space is huge and comfortable, and the house is one of the cleanest rentals we've had in the past few years. The brand new back deck was perfect for morning coffee. You're within walking distance to a beach for swimming and volleyball, and a short drive or walk to the pool. We highly recommend picking up some ice cream at Wood's in downtown Jim Thorpe, and enjoying the amazing view (and a live rattlesnake) at the end of the Tank Hollow Trail. The 3.5 mile roundtrip hike is short five minute drive from the house, and fairly easy. But wear long pants just in case!

The house and area was beautiful and Darci was incredible. She was so quick to reply if we had any questions. Our family had such a great time.

We were very pleased with our stay at the property. Very friendly for kids and a fabulous sunset. Would definitely stay here again!

We rented the house for my mom's 70th birthday. We were easily able to fit 5 families in the house. There was plenty of rooms, space, yard, and activities to do. We stayed at the end of August. We went white water rafting, hiking, fishing, and enjoyed the pool and beaches during the day. At night we catered food from the local Italian restaurant, cooked on the grill, then sat and roasted marshmallows by the fire pit. I highly recommend this house. Darci made the check-in process very smooth and answered all of our questions throughout the trip.
