Great property. Just as advertised- it was clean, convenient, and comfortable! The best part was communication with the owner. He made sure we had everything, we were settled in, and then let us have our vacation without needing to check in once or twice a day. The best part was he let us check in early and gave us a late check out time without us even asking. We ended up with a surprise extra vacation day as we didn’t have to check out till three instead of 10 like normal. I’d absolutely stay here again.

We had a great time staying here. The house was clean and organized. Lots of fun games for our kids. It was so cozy and welcoming that our boys didn’t even want to to leave. Great location, very close to the village. We can’t wait to come back!

Nice place. We really enjoyed our stay. It was myself, my wife, her friend and six kids. The cabin easily accommodated us comfortably and the great room was fantastic for keeping an eye on the kids. The kids really loved the arcade game and being able to play in the snow on the property. I really liked the home was stocked with firewood. Good location. Close to everything.

We had a wonderful time staying at this cabin! It’s beautiful and spacious. We had 2 families stay- a total of 4 adults and 3 kids. Plenty of room and the location is wonderful. Ken was wonderful to rent from! We will definitely rent this place again!

Great Family Weekend Get Away
My family, wife, two daughters, 1 and 4, had a fantastic time at Ken’s cabin. The open floor great room is as advertised. We could keep an eye on the kids at all times. My wife and I loved sitting in the big leather chairs in front of the fire after the kids were in bed. Of course the spa is so enjoyable after skiing and playing in the snow with the kids all day. On the side of the house and in the back I was able to put a sled run together that my family had a blast on. We can’t wait to stay here again.

Big Bear Lake
We loved our stay! The openness of the living area was perfect for our family. It was a perfect location to town and markets etc! Our host was awesome and checked in with us often to see if everything was ok. So close to Summit and Bear Mountain. You can’t go wrong with this place. 😊

Great Location!
This was our second time staying at this cabin. Our favorite thing about this cabin is it’s location. Lots of activities and restaurants just a few minutes away. We love how cozy it is. The pictures dont do it justice.

Our stay at the cabin
Beautiful cabin great location and perfect place to stay when it snows . Has a Awesome hill on the side of the cabin that the kids can slide down our grandkids actually snowboard down the hill they had so much fun the cabin is very cozy beautiful fireplace her fake Christmas getaway we definitely will be back . ken the owner was amazing and very helpful with any questions.

Great Family Home
We had the best time at this comfortable and spacious cabin. Ken was a great host who was kind enough to accommodate me as I planned a surprise bday trip for my mom. The home is actually quite perfect for families with smaller kids as it seemed rather safe and childproof with our variety of age ranges. Though there isn’t a railing in the bunks built into the closet, it is certainly the cutest use of space I’ve ever seen. Loved the single story open floor plan!
A few minor things to note are that some sockets and doors that don’t work, the hot tub lights went out on us earlier than they should because they were programmed before the time change and we weren’t able to get any of the DVD players to work to enjoy the impressive movie collection but Ken was super helpful and responsive and willing to try and help so we appreciate that and would certainly recommend this home for a fun stay for a group. Thank you!

The house was beautiful, the pictures dont do it justice, we had everything we needed, the scenery was great. Close to everything. The host Ken was very good at answering any questions or help we needed within a timely manner. We will definitely being staying again.

Nice cabin, great check I and out process, a few minor issues
Ken was a nice host with an easy check in and out process. He was also flexible and allowed us to bring our small dog
The cabin was fine, exactly as in the pictured.
The main area is open, but feels small and a little busy with all the furniture (although that might be fine, depending on your taste)
We loved the couch with reclining seats, the Pac-Man machine, the view from the Jacuzzi, the comfy beds, and the abundance of blankets and towels. The location was also great, walking distance to the lake and very close to the village and zoo.
The small issues we had were: the cleanliness of the cabin - when we arrived, the deck was very dirty, I had to spend about an hour cleaning it to make it usable for the Jacuzzi and to use the grill, we also found water bottles and soda cans under the bed and couch, the garage was dirty with mud from car tires, I had to clean it before we could assemble the ping pong table and use the foosball table (which was also very dirty). In general, the cleaning crew needs to do a better job.
Other minor issues were: the blinds are hard to open and close and some don’t fully close; the jacuzzi gets very hot and the temperature is hard to control; the garage where the ping pong and foosball table are is detached from the main house, so we couldn’t just leave the kids there to play alone .

Ken and Cabin are fantastic.
Ken was fantastic to work with. The cabin was great. Everything was as advertised. The check in instructions provided were spot on and made check in & out a breeze. The cabin is beautiful and cozy. Our girls loved the PAC MAN video game as did I (took me back to the 80’). The hot tub worked perfect. We enjoyed a warm cozy fire in the fireplace each night. We would definitely stay here again when we visit Big Bear.

Cozy Cabin in a Great Location
Our family of 4 loved this cozy and convenient cabin located just minutes from Snow Summit and plenty of shopping and restaurants. Our kids especially loved the arcade game and sledding on the side of the property and the large fireplace and oversized comfy couch made for relaxing evenings. Ken was a very responsive host and easy to work with and we looking forward to coming back in the future.

Great location close the slopes and the cabin is perfect to relax and enjoy each other’s company.
I would recommend this cabin to anyone going with 8 or more people. it is spacious and allows guest to relax in their room for privacy or enjoy the large living room.

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was decorated so nicely, amazing fireplace, and couch that sat all of us, and reclined. Lots of great kitchenware for our dinners. Very nice host! Will definitely come back.

Ken is wonderful to work with and provides everything you will want for your mountain getaway. I can't wait to come back. The snow ❄was wonderful for playing in the backyard for the whole family. Jacuzzi was nice after our snowball fight!!!

Wonderful Weekend Getaway
We had a wonderful time at this cabin. It was so clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. We all slept very well. Close to the slopes. Great kitchen to work in. We never felt crowded. The common room is big and well decorated. We didn’t want to leave. We are very glad we were able to stay here. Great communication with Ken, the owner. We will stay again.

Perfect for a Multi Family Stay
We really enjoyed this cabin. It was perfect size and had everything we needed! We loved the jacuzzi,m and the oversized tub in the master! We found everything we needed from kitchen utensils to laundry detergent. Check in and check out we’re very easy, with Ken. Thank you!!

A Great 1st Stay In Big Bear
This property is adorable! So many personal touches. Very conveniently located near Snow Summit. Our kids loved playing the Pac-Man arcade and PS2. The owner is very responsive and so helpful. Highly recommend.

Safe family get away
With an immune compromised family, we have remained safely tucked in at home since March. Needing a change of scenery, we were able to relax as a family of 7 (ages 4-80), and enjoy a mini vacation. Ken was easy to reach and helpful throughout our stay. We look forward to a safety escape again, soon.

Comfy Cabin
Great experience. Enough room for me and my family of 12. Enough pillows, linens, towels, and place settings. Loved the living area, spacious and comfy. The fireplace was the amazing and I loved the decor. Heater worked well. And the kids and adults loved the foosball and ping pong table. I do not recommend opening the garage door, getting it to close again was a task, side door worked fine. Easy check in and check out as long as you print out directions and take it with you. We did not use the spa. Overall great experience and will return for sure.

Perfect family getaway!
Excellent communication!. This place is perfect, very warm and welcoming.. Lots of great space in the family room. We loved the large couch and had fun with the Pac-Man machine. Abundance of blankets and movies throughout the home. Perfect location near everything big bear has to offer. Ken was perfect at communicating with us throughout, Check-in was simple and so was check out. Extra wide bunk beds, all very comfortable beds throughout. Fully equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare our full Thanksgiving meal. It was exactly what we were looking for.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Ken was extremely helpful and very thorough with the check in and check out instructions.
The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The WiFi was very good. My husband worked and my kids were able to do their distance learning and we had no problem with streaming.
The cabin had everything we needed. The kids played the Arcade Game and we sat by the beautiful fireplace.

Really nice weekend!
We enjoyed the cabin immensely, my girls loved the "Christmas" feel even though it was Labor Day! The hot tub was great, my husband and his friends had a blast playing ping pong, and the arcade game was awesome! Ken was very communicative and instructions were clear. Thanks for a great weekend!
