Close to savannah and the beach, best of both worlds. Hit with a hurricane last day which made flights questionable but we were able to extend the stay to avoid any issues. Love the cottage.

This place was amazing; plenty of space, amenities, and in a great location for getting to the beach easily. You aren't beach front but that is okay for us. We enjoyed having the pool when we were back from the beach to take a quick break before heading out to do more exploring of Tybee Island. You are also within walking distance of some delicious restaurants should you get hungry. We had a van and a truck so parking was a little challenging as the parking area is kind of small. We made it work though, and had a few days where we drove up to Savannah to do some exploring there as well (only 30 minutes drive away). Overall the experience was great and I can see myself coming back, Tybee rocks!

This cottage is in a great location. You can walk to almost everything. And the pool is a nice addition when you want a day off the beach.

This cottage was really cute. Best feature was a private bath for each bedroom! Kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. It was an easy walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. We would stay here again!

We had such a great vacation at Blue Crab Cottage--our first in three years! We were close to the beach--a QUICK golf cart ride to any of a mid/south beaches on the island--and to restaurants and ice cream, and the local grocery store, but also in a more quiet neighborhood setting. The little pool is just perfect! Our girls LOVED it and hung out in there when we weren't at the beach. Rental Company was great to work with and helped out with requests--new propane tank for grill and water not going to brand new fridge--in less than an hour. Definitely recommend Blue Crab Cottage.

From age 4- 47 we all thoroughly enjoyed this house! We cooked a complete Thanksgiving meal with an excellent appointed kitchen! 5 min walk to the pier, restaurants and shops They only thing I would say needs some attention would be the mattresses weren’t the best and would definitely take this place to the next level of upgraded…. We would definitely stay again!!!

Dishes were dirty and had to be recleaned. House was very musty. There should be a privacy blind on door in bedroom that leads to pool. Other than those minor issues we loved it.

We spent 4th of July weekend. Right near pier with shops, restaurants, bike rental and fireworks. House is small but had everything we needed- 3 bed/3bath, full kitchen and nice screened in porch with plenty of room. Pool in back yard was just the right size on a hot day instead of dealing with beach crowds.

Great location! Easy walk to the beach and shopping. Pool is a nice added touch to cool off at the house. House was well equipped with kitchen and bath items.

This is such a cute cottage - on a quiet street so you feel tucked away from the bustle but just a few blocks to the beach and restaurants. We loved the screened porch and the pool! The property had everything we needed for a relaxing spring break trip.

Super cute house and awesome location. The pool was cute also. It had just what we needed to be comfortable. I’d highly suggest renting a golf cart but everything is walkable from house too. We will be back

The property is accurately depicted by pictures. Good size for a beach bungalow, even as a family of 6. The location is great-2 block walk to beach and restaurants/ice cream. Unfortunately the mosquitos were so bad at this property it limited the amount of time we could spend outdoors...both on the porch and backyard pool. Aside from that, it would’ve been lovely.

Blue Crab is very comfortable, a short walk to the beach, and conveniently located in southern Tybee. The pool and pool area are a bit small but adequate for floating/sitting/sipping cocktails/etc. The cottage is right on the bike route which is great for getting around and the air conditioner worked flawlessly (the heat index outside was over 100 all week!). Great little place!

We loved our stay at Blue Crab! The cottage is so quaint and cozy, yet still had plenty of room. We especially loved the front screened porch and enjoyed sharing family meals there throughout the week. The pool was perfect for our young children too. The location is awesome. So many walking options to restaurants, shops and the pier. We look forward to returning!

What a perfect little beach house. Loved the fact that everyone bedroom had its own bathroom. Pool was great. Porch was great. Location was perfect!

The house was great & the pool is a nice small deal in the backyard. nice quiet neighborhood too. BUT-The picture is misleading because there is a very large house right next door (like super close) which apparently was built after that picture was taken. We booked during the Tybee pirate festival or whatever and had no idea it was going on. It kind of gave the downtown area a very drunken Mötley Crüe concert vibe circa 1987 which is fine if I had known, but we were there with our kids trying to have a vacation and it really killed it for us. So do your research people! All in all, hanging by the house playing board games and listening to Lez Zeppelin from a distance was pretty nice!

The house is adorable, small and quaint and located near everything. We did however have an issue with the pool. When we arrived on Monday August 5, the pool was full of leaves and debris. On Tuesday morning I used the 2 way text option that was available asking if someone could drop off a net so we could clean out the debris. On Wednesday I received a text stating the 2 way text was currently down and if we needed anything to call Tybee Island management team directly. So I called asking if we could get a net since we were willing to clean the pool ourselves. I was told they would send over a maintenance team to clean the pool. Wednesday past, no one showed, Thursday still no sign of the maintenance and then late Friday afternoon the team arrived and did a great job. Too bad we were checking out in the morning and didn’t get to use the pool. I called Tybee Vacation management team to express the disappointment. We rented Blue Crab Cottage for the pool, which we couldn’t use because of the debris on the bottom of the pool. I was offered a refund for the pool fee and was told it would be in our account in 5-7 days. The following Monday 8/12, I hadn’t received an email regarding the refund so I called to verify it had been completed, I was told the refund was processed two day before, which would have been Saturday. Monday afternoon I received an email stating a refund had been processed. I called on Tuesday 8/13 to ask about the date the refund was processed and I was told the 8/12! Which mean they lied to me about processing the refund the day they offered it and then lied again when we spoke on Monday when they said it had been refunded on Saturday. Had they told me they forgot, I could totally understand, but to lie about it is unacceptable. The cottage was clean, but could use a thorough cleaning. We found a toy under a table which had dust bunnies attached to it, the floor under the sofa hadn’t been swept as it was also pretty dusty and the fresh air exchange vent hadn’t been cleaned in years. Which could be why the AC struggled to keep the temp at 75. Would suggest updating the ceiling fans, only one out of the 3 worked well.

We had an amazing time!!! We loved the adorable cottage, proximity to the beach and restaurants and the backyard pool. The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated the provided linens, dish soap, and toiletries. We had an amazing time and hope to come back soon.

Location is great. Literally minutes walk to eating, shopping, and the beach. House is great too and the pool is nice. Family of 5 stayed very comfortably and the house was equipped with everything you would need. We'll be back!

The house was very nice. We liked it a lot! It was very well maintained, decorated, and furnished. The pool is a nice addition; it is small, so it is more like a jacuzzi (without all the bubbles and jets) than a swimming pool, but the kids had fun. The only problem we had while there was the pool kept shutting down; we paid to have the pool heated, so obviously this was an issue. But maintenance was quick to respond and managed to get it working again for us. Our only complaint was with our experiences in the office itself. When we went in to print our boarding passes, which is a service specifically offered, we were told we couldn't because 1) the printer wasn't connected to the computer we had access to, then 2) the printer was broken and wouldn't work. MD was AMAZING and VERY helpful, and had us email our passes to her, then web upstairs and printed them out for us. She should be teaching customer service skills to the others we dealt with who pointedly refused to help us. We deeply appreciate M Diener..

Third time at Tybee with my kids! Favorite stay for them. Very cute cottage and great location! Looking forward to next year!

Girls weekend and our stay was wonderful. Very comfortable and location was great. Cottage was very cute. We are going to try and go back next year. Loved it! 5 stars for me

Definately coming back

We loved it here. We are already planning our trip back next year and want to stay in the same house. The booking was easy and TVR very friendly and accommodating. Love the location. Weather was not so great to be able to use the pool or go to beach but hopefully next trip. There is a lot to see on the island and we did not get to see everything that is why we want to come back. People are very nice and you feel very safe in the neighborhood. I would definitely recommend TVR and Tybee Island to friends and family.

If you haven't been to Tybee Island, it's a pure beach town through and through and this house fits it perfectly. 2 blocks from the beach (15th Street Pier), and close to a lot of bars and restaurants it conveniently lets you enjoy all there is on Tybee. Pet friendly with a fenced yard that is particularly good if you have small dogs. Highly recommended

It was the perfect house for our beach get away to meet up with my girl friends from Charleston, Georgia, and Jacksonville. It had everything we were looking for from the perfect outdoor set up to the charming front porch. This house is in a great location just a few minutes walk to the pier, beach, and restaurants/bars.
