My wife & I stayed in this property for almost 3 months while our house was being finished. The location is fantastic! Right across the street from the Strand Beach parking lot with easy access to the beach, hiking trails, and the Lantern District. Super easy to get to. The sunsets are postcard worthy. The south side of the parking lot is a place where high schoolers and other young adults gather to have a good time. They are usually broken up by 10pm. It's actually rather funny to eavesdrop on them since they are not quiet. Oh, to be that age again! The check-in/out processes were very easy and the instructions were crystal clear. The property owners were great and any questions were answered very quickly. The only downside is that some items need updating. The living room furniture has seen its better days and the washer & dryer could use a refresh. Overall, our stay was great and I will be keeping this property in mind for the future when family visit!

Overall excellent stay, very nice condo, exactly as described, with all the basic necessities, directly across the street from Strands Beach Park, great neighborhood, beautiful sunsets, and close to most everything. We were very happy with our stay. Two things to note: there are 164 steps down to the beach, and there was a bit of noise from street and Strands Beach Park parking lot most evenings (but typically quieted down by 10pm).

We were here for 9 1/2 weeks this summer, and also same place for 10 weeks last summer, to escape the desert heat. Great rental unit and great location.

This condo is in a perfect location. It is across from the Strand Park leading down to the beach, near wonderful nature trails and close enough to walk to the Lantern District where one can enjoy a lovely lunch or pick up needed supplies. We spent many hours on the beach daily and in the evening we sat on the patio watching beautiful sunsets. The condo is very comfortable, well supplied and has large rooms. Dee, the owner, was very accessible when we needed any questions answered. We cannot thank her enough and look forward to visiting again.

Was very nice for our 10 week escape from the desert. The only complaint -- we are not fans of "DirecTV Now". Specifically, cannot surf for the routine channels, just too time consuming. Otherwise very nice condo, in fantastic location.

We mostly enjoyed walks along the beach and bike rides to San Clamente. Dee and Frank were always very helpful.

This is our second time staying for a month at Dee Klaus' Condo. It is very close to Baby Beach, which we frequent EVERY day since we are Stand Up Paddlers (SUP). Dee's condo is always immaculate and everything necessary for a great stay. i called Dee once JUST to let her know the master toilet cycled at times and she responded immediately. Good restaurants are very close by as well as Costco. We will continue to return for the full month. Thank you, Dee.

House is outdated. Flooring kitchen and bathrooms are renovated but the furniture is old and there is an old house smell in the house. At an oceanfront house one expects classy furniture. Ceilings are low.

It was lovely and clean

Across the street from the ocean. Have your morning cup of coffee with a tremendous view. Wifi worked fine even with several people using it. Condo was clean and convenient to pool, trash and parking. Your are right near lots of restaurants and shopping. You need a car to easily get to places although there is bus service but I didn't use it. I would recommend it to everyone particularly since there are twin beds in one of the bedrooms...most condo rentals provide only queen beds. I love Happy Hour at Harpoon Henry's because they discount their fish and chips (mahi mahi) which are fabulous.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Everything we needed to make our stay comfortable was there;. Dee was always available to answer any questions we had and was extremely helpful. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this condo to friends and family.

One of the BEST vacation condos we have stayed in for 30 days. Dee was excellent to work with and the condo was very well equipped and clean. The funicular (elevator) across the street to the beach only operates on weekends, after summer is over. This kept us from enjoying Strands Beach, since there are hundreds of stairs to walk down AND carry your beach equip. up. Very close to Baby Beach and LOTS of good restaurants. Great pool and spa. We will definitely stay here again next year.

I stayed at this condo during May and loved every minute of it. It is literally right across the street from the entrance to Strands Beach, is very quiet, and had everything I could ever want or need while I was there. Everything in the unit worked perfectly. The ocean breezes blow right through the unit creating a beautiful cool retreat. The best part was the wonderful patio off the master bedroom that had a direct view of the sunset over the ocean. I would stay here over and over again!

Great location, only yards from the beach. Nice, well appointed 3 bedroom condo. Pool was great for the kids.
