This time the location was FANTASTIC but the furnishings (particularly the deck furniture) was below Beachfront standards as well as the stocking of the kitchen. The C unit also did not have any comfortable furniture on which to relax or watch T.V.

Loved the location, beautiful ocean/beach views and within walking distance to the stores & restaurants. Really enjoyed the patio, firepit and jacuzzi. Property management were very quick to respond to everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again.

This beach house could not have a better location. Gorgeous views of the ocean, steps to the beach, plus you can walk to all the best restaurants, coffee shops, and local stores in Carlsbad within just a few blocks. The home itself had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay and we enjoyed the addition of plenty of beach towels. The beds were incredibly comfortable and I enjoyed having different pillow options available on the beds. Some of the couches, chairs, and vanities were a bit worn and could use some refurbishing but overall we had an incredible stay, the home was clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed our mini staycation. Highly recommend this property. Would be excellent for two families/ multi-generational trips as unit B and C are actually two separate units (they are connected by a staircase).

We would have never rented this property had we known that there was going to be a 12 man bachelor party two of the nights we were there. They were on the top floor above us banging and partying. They were out on the deck with an oversize music speaker yelling at women on the beach. Not professional to not tell us !!!!!

The two issues were that the washing machine was broken upon arrival and in the downstairs unit there was a squeeking noise that persisted when people in the upstairs unit used the sink. It was annoying especially at night.
Otherwise, everything was wonderful and the house is great.

Right on the beach. A one minute walk to restaurants. This could have been a cardboard box and I would have given it 5 stars. But since this place is so $$$/night, I figured there is Some room for improvement: since the house is beachfront, having a few beach chairs and beach umbrella would be great. Some of the showers were a bit janky. As in the shower head doesn’t really fit the space and sprays all over. Bathtub is peeling upstairs. USB plug in devices by bed stands would be nice to have. There’s a loud squealing noise in the hall bathroom on the second unit when the very top unit is I assume using their bathroom. That should be looked into. It was so incredibly hot in the upstairs unit when we arrived in the afternoon due to the sun beating in. But if you open both doors you get a crossbreeze which cools it down. The management company was very easy to get ahold of which is good because we had some issues with the codes not working when we arrived. They reset them over the phone. The TV had issues as in it was not automatically signed into Sling as the app said it would be. They said they were going to have to send someone over to look at it which seemed ridiculous, so we declined. I thought it could be fixed over the phone but I guess not. Not that you need tv on the beach, but it was not set up properly. Also, the downstairs remotes were missing batteries. We put some in. Like I said though, the proximity to the beach makes this place five stars, but they could use a few touch ups for the amount charged per night.

Communication was timely, prep emails were sent in advance of our trip and they even helped us over the phone when the door wouldn’t unlock for us on site. In addition, they followed up during our stay to make sure everything was going well. Myself and my family were so impressed with the stellar location of the beach house, the condition upon arrival, the kitchen and bath amenities and the room accommodations. We stayed in the B and C suites of the beach house. B suite had 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. C had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The A suite was above us and was even larger than our suites. All rooms had attached bathrooms and the beds were very comfortable! Bath towels and beach towels were provided for all guests. We stayed for thanksgiving and the kitchen was fully stocked making a meal at home during Covid quarantine so easy. We have family who lives in Carlsbad and they were even impressed with the condition, accommodations and location of the property. The views of the ocean from the property are rare to find for the area and only available in this area of carlsbad. All of the suites have a main private staircase to access the beach along with separated patios which each contain seating, fire pit and hot tub. It’s also walking distance right into Carlsbad Village where you will find restaurants, shopping, a book store and coffee shops. We walked to Starbucks each morning. Hands down we would stay with this property management company again as well as at this specific property.

The house itself we didn’t love. The communal living space and kitchen are much smaller than they appear in the pictures. The beds were all very uncomfortable except for in one room. The stairs going down to the two bedroom unit were also very steep and dangerous for kids. You can hear EVERY STEP AND MOVEMENT from upstairs. You can hear voices, chairs moving. Walking, toilets flushing, etc. it was very noisy and hard to sleep- I loved this location but would not rent this unit again- I would possibly rent the upstairs unit if I needed a larger house.

Reviewer Comments: House was not clean when we arrived, trash outside for a week, unit C two bathrooms got stopped up and count be used because the renters before flushed baby wipes. They had to use the bathrooms upstairs during the night, had to wait around until someone came. Wouldn’t come on the 4th of July. So the next day we finally got the two bathrooms working. One of the Jacuzzis was broken. They came out fixed it the next day. Bedrooms were very crowded. One room had no closet as they used it for cleaning supplies. The bedroom with the bunk beds you had to squeeze by to get into the bathroom as the bed was wall to wall. Nowhere to put a suite case. None of the televisions worked and they sent someone out found out the batteries were dead and then they worked. I went into my bathroom to take a shower and the shower head was broken and sitting on the soap shelf. Everyday something went wrong with this home. On the last day they finally came and took the smelly garbage away. For the money it was a rip-off. We actually left a day early because we just wanted to be done. I would look for a better rental agency this one is broken.

First off, the house was half cleaned when we arrived. Both hot tubs were broken, the tv’s didn’t work, all the garbage cans were full, the plumbing was clogged, so no bathrooms in unit c for 2 days. The bunk bed in the kids room was too big for the room the door hit it when it was open. Zero room to walk in there. The tour online is so Deceiving, for the amount of money that this house cost research and go somewhere else. The upkeep and cleanliness was horrible. We had to call and complain so many times for people to come in and out to fix everything. I would never ever go back to this house.

The house is actually 3 units with the bottom 2 making up the 6BR, 6.5 baths we rented. We paid a lot of money for an early check in (only 2 hours early FYI for $300) and upon arrival we were unable to access the property. I called the help number 4 times before I got a human and not an answering machine. She tried to remotely reset the keyless entry, unsuccessfully, and told me she filed a work order. I would receive a text when someone was coming. No text and no person came. I called back. Someone showed up 2 hours later. they couldn't' fix the system all weekend so we were given a key to a downstairs door. The next day someone called me to ask how our check in went and if we wanted to pay for late check out. Pretty terrible communication. I had to get the refund for the early check in from Air BNB as it has been really difficult to communicate with the property management company. I also emailed before we arrived to ask if we would be able to use the beach at the property as the beaches are closed. They wrote me back that we would be able to access the beach in front of the rental. But when we got there the police kicked my 9 year old daughter off the sand. The house is great, the management company not so great.

We are a group of 9 for a sibling and spouses reunion. The beach house was just as the pictures portrayed it and as the other guests described on the listing. It is super clean, with all of the utensils and pots and pans needed to cook for a big group. The most stunning part is the amazing view of the ocean from the two front windows which is magical.
