16 family members got together for a few days. Close enough to all of the hocking hiking locations to enjoy them all. Cabin was beautiful and accommodating all.

Twelve of us stayed in the cabin July 2024 including children, spouses, and grandchildren. Everything was perfect and as advertised. The family vacation is an annual tradition for many years and the best testimony comes from my 40 y.o. son. He wrote "Hey just wanted to shout out to say what a great time I had on vacation this year. Special shout out to Dad for picking that amazing cabin. This one will go down as one of my favorite vacations for sure." His younger siblings agreed. Thank you Sarah for sharing your amazing cabin with us. Blessings!

Enjoyed the location and property.

Pictures reflect the cabin accurately. Private wrap around porch was nice for kicking back after hikes. Like other reviews, only negative was the beds were very squeaky. Oh, and we could not get TV in main living area to work but I am sure could have been resolved if we had given the task to the younger ones; the four remotes were above our tech skills. The grands loved the rec area and hot tub. It gave them some space from adults. Fourth of July fireworks on the sixth up on the hill was a bonus! Would recommend this cabin!

Checking in and out, communicating with the owner went seamlessly! The location was a quiet neighborhood and the house is beautiful! There were baby deer fawns that visited daily. The home was plenty big enough and had all of the amenities! We went to see all of the major hiking attractions and everything was so close! The only thing we could think of that would have added to the stay was a bigger yard. This was only a want because of the kids otherwise it was perfect!

We had a great time in Hocking Hills. The cabin added to our fun; played cornhole, played cards and enjoyed hot tub nightly. Thank you for your hospitality, hope to be back next year.

Beautiful setting. We enjoyed the fire pit and roasting marshmallows. Had so much fun playing all the games at the cabin. Relaxed in the hot tub after hiking in Hocking Hills. So many relaxing spots on the many porches around the cabin. We all loved it.

The days we spent at the Redwood Lodge were wonderful. The owner anticipated our needs and then delivered on them. The home is lovely, spacious, clean, and relaxing. We would definitely stay there again.

This please was great. My only advice would be to bring beach towels for the hot tub. The closest hiking was Rockhouse and it was nice. We took the kids with us (ages 3,6,and9).

Perfect cabin for our family gathering. It's on a quiet cul de sac street and conveniently located to all hiking Hocking Hills has to offer. The covered wrap around porch and the fire pit were our daily gathering spots. We loved it!

Our family loved our stay at Redwood Lodge. It was great having space inside and out on the decks, to have fun, play, cook and eat together. Everyone enjoyed being able to come and stay together under one roof, all eleven of us! It was the perfect place to be for my 70th birthday celebration.

Brought our adult children for spring break for two nights. We had a great time the cabins beautiful everything was clean and well equipped great location wish we could’ve stayed longer!

This cabin for Christmas was exactly what we needed for our family this year. We celebrated my mom's birthday on Christmas and helped her through this first holiday without my father. There was plenty to do without needing to leave the cabin and also didn't need to go far if we did venture out.

The bedroom situation worked out great for us. It was like the one family had their own little apartment downstairs. The pillows were kind of flat but other than that everything was great.

What a wonderful environment for a family vacation….loved everything about it!!!

We had a great little getaway at this cabin for a long weekend. We were traveling with a group of 8, age ranging from 6 months to 80 years old! Had a great time here! Nice location pretty close to some great hikes ☺️ the only thing I would note about this cabin is the beds are very loud. When getting into/out of bed or just rolling over in the middle of the night they make a ton of noise. I’m guessing it was due to some type of mattress protector? For most people I’m sure this isn’t a major issue but I slept with the 6 month old in my room. I’m sure any other mom would appreciate this heads up when they’re trying to get their kids to sleep as much as they can when away from home 😂 also, we had a few very minor things come up while we were there (ice machine not working, something small broken when we arrived) and I messaged the owner on the VRBO app and never heard back. There was a number at the house to call that said in case of emergency. As I did not feel these small things were emergent, I didn’t want to bother them, but they should probably change the wording or information for how to contact them because even for small things you do expect a response eventually. Other than these two minor things this place was great!

The house was beautiful, clean, dog & kid friendly. Further north than we usually stay so it was at least 30 minutes drive to major trails. LOVED the outdoor fireplace on the deck! Host was very easy to communicate with. Plenty of space for 8 couples and 2 kids.

My family of five stayed at Redwood Lodge for a long weekend in the Fall to enjoy Hocking Hills trails and the changing of the seasons. The place is great overall. There are a couple things in the listing I should have looked into more closely. Yes the cabin is secluded in that it is surrounded by trees, but keep in mind there are other cabins close enough that you can see them through the trees. You're in Hocking Hills, but given the winding roads, you are still a 20 minutes drive from anything, including a grocery store. The host outlines that you should bring your own toiletries, remember, that includes shower soap, shampoo and tissues. The place was nice and clean overall. I would suggest a little more attention be paid to the oven, grill and shelves in the fridge. While it was a great place for our family of 5 and our dog, the indoor living spaces would have felt very crowded if we brought enough people to fill the 16 sleeping spaces (for example, the kitchen table would seat no more than 10, family room 8-10). Plan to use the great outdoor spaces (wrap around deck, outdoor picnic tables, fire pit) if you bring a big group.

We stayed at the Redwood Lodge October 2023 for a church ladies getaway, Thursday through Saturday. Great accomodations with plenty of sleeping arrangements. For those with handicapped needs, the walk in shower on the first floor was great. Loved the open kitchen/dining/living room area. Had a great devotion time on the porch with the fireplace. Some used the hot tub in the evening and enjoyed it too. Would consider staying here again. Reasonably priced and close to hiking. Five of the women slept downstairs - grateful for the black out curtains and hardly heard anything going on upstairs. Thanks for a great location and fun time!

Just a wonderful cabin in a cozy and peaceful setting. This destination was our first ever adult siblings and spouses vacation. Also,we were able to bring a pet with us as well! We enjoyed the hot tub,outside fire place,grill,covered porch and large dining/family room. Especially enjoyed private bedrooms and bathrooms on each floor. Conveniently located for easy access to so many attractions. Thanks for giving us a beautiful place to spend quality family time.

Perfect setting. Although it is a little bit further away from the parks than listed ( reason for the 4*star). Wish the jets were working on the inside soaking tub.. but all in all the cabin was pristine. The lower level rec room was a huge hit for the teen age grandchildren. The outside fireplace and additional fire ring were great conversation hangouts. We really enjoyed reconnecting with our family. Thanks so much for a lovely and memorable stay.

My husband and I rented the Redwood Lodge last summer for vacation stay with our adult children and grandkids, so we knew it would be an excellent choice for this year's reunion with my husband's brothers, sister, and their spouses. Upon arrival we found the cabin clean, with all the amenities listed in the ad. There is plenty of room for gathering together for meals, playing games or sitting by the fire. And there is enough space for some quite time as needed! The setting is private with dense trees obscuring the other cabins on the same road. It is pretty drive to Old Mans Cave or the State Park Lodge. As we experienced in the past we found our host to be quick to respond to any questions. I think the best indication that this is an excellent place to stay is that we are repeat renters.

Our stay at the Redwood Lodge was wonderful! We had a group of 11; 9 adults and 2 kids. The whole cabin was clean and had nice touches that other places we’ve stayed lacked. The beds are comfortable and the ceiling fans in the bedrooms a nice addition. The linens and towels are clean and in great condition. The kitchen has a lot of dishes, cookware & utensils to use for any cooking you may want to do. With the long table and bar seats in the kitchen along with 2 picnic tables on the porch there’s plenty of room for everyone to eat together. The propane grill is a great option for additional cooking. We loved the fire pit for hanging out and making s’mores at night. They even have bundles of firewood available for purchase on the porch in case you didn’t bring some. The hot tub is large and clean and a lovely retreat in the moonlit night. The wrap around porch has corn hole and plenty of seats to enjoy time outside together. Overall we loved the Redwood Lodge and would recommend it to others. Enjoy!

The second we pulled in we were in awe!!! Absolutely beautiful property. Pictures don’t do it justice. Can’t wait to be back!

Was a wonderful vacation spot very quiet and clean

The property was nice but it could have been cleaner and kitchen better equipped. The oven smoked horribly because of all of the debris on the bottom and and glass top stove was greasy and no appropriate cleaner to clean myself.

We had a fabulous time in Hocking Hills. The house was fully stocked. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the big covered porch with the fireplace going! Enjoyed the hot tub also.

Could have used a few more details of utensils available. But the house and fireplaces and outside fire pit was fantastic.

What a beautiful place!!! Clean, & well kept!! Everything you need for a great time. Beds were comfortable! Kitchen well stocked. Will definitely return!!!
