Excellent location for driving the17 mile highway, Carmel and Monterey. Owners were very helpful in referring places and things to do as well as places to eat. I highly recommend staying at Sunset Inn. Enjoy your next get a way.

Rakesh the manager goes above and beyond in providing the best excellent customer service. The cleanliness not only of our room but of property itself is outstanding. It is as described and minutes within walking distance to beach. I highly recommend Sunset Inn and plan on returning soon. 👌

The Sunset Inn is a nice option if you are in the area. It’s a decent price, close enough to town to walk, but far enough as ti remain quiet. The staff was friendly and welcoming, eager to share options for dining and sites. The room was smaller and a bit less well appointed than the images suggested, but again, it felt reasonable given the dates we travelled and other accommodations in the area.

As soon as you turn in to the driveway, you feel like you're transported to a little village complete with cobblestone streets and street lights. The ocean is a short walk away, with a wonderful path following along the rocky shore. The room was clean and comfortable, and it was easy to get on to the main drag through Pacific Grove and on to the Cannery Row area of Monterey. I would definitely stay here again!

We spent one night at the Sunset inn and had a lovely time. The location is excellent, close to the beach and not far from downtown Pacific Grove. We also rented E bikes at the inn which was very convenient and a great way to tour the area

Very clean property with friendly staff. Walking distance to the shore and into town. Just a short drive from Monterey. Very peaceful location, with a lovely fire patio. Wish we had more time here but would visit again!

Location was close to the coast and was very clean. I was disappointed our rental only had one bedroom. The listing showed two rooms. Bathroom was very small, had little room to get ready in the morning, and the door didn’t shut completely so I couldn’t stand in front of the mirror. Check-in process was a struggle and took too much time. Gave manager our vehicle license plate and even showed a photo of it, but they still went out to get a photo of our plates which made us feel they didn’t trust us.

Great little cottages near the ocean. Very clean and roomy-if you don’t need a kitchen this place is perfect. Renovated bathroom was a nice touch. Would recommend to anyone.

Had a great experience! I arranged this property for my fiancés birthday getaway and have no complaints! I had messaged the property manager multiple times regarding various questions and they responded so quickly and were very kind! Upon arrival we were given the opportunity to upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi bathtub for a low price per night and they allowed us to tour both room options so that we can make an informed choice. Our room was always clean, property was overall quiet for us, and they even gave us a bottle of wine for our stay! Would book here again.

Manager is super nice and very helpful. Room was as described. Bed was comfortable. Location of this small property is perfect. Close to golf . Close walk to some of the best beaches in the area!

Usually stay at embassy suites. My wife likes to walk in the mornings so the beach access is a plus. No homeless around as well. Room was very nice and the beds were comfortable. Clean and well supplied rooms. My only complaint would be the tight area for parking. Luckily was able to get a spot everyday when we came back. Will try it again sometime.

This property is in a great location accessible to the coast, Monterey and Carmel. The staff (especially the manager) are helpful. The rooms are clean and well maintained. I would revisit this location.

Stayed three nights to see Pacific Grove and Monterey area, great centrally located lodging.

The room we reserved was not the room they gave us. On the 2nd day they offered to move us but by then we just wanted to leave the entire property. The manager offered us 15% off on a future stay but we will never be coming back to this place.

The location was perfect, the room perfectly clean and the Man at the front desk was very pleasant and accommodating! Would stay there again.

Quaint and cozy and a block from the beach! We loved the plantation shutters (we were able to keep windows ajar for our trip in January) the fireplace and close proximity to beach, coffee shops and town. This Inn is located in a residential area so felt very homey and cozy, perfect stay!

We received a friendly welcome greeting. We were celebrating a special occasion and a special gift was provided. Over the top service.
