Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I'll start by saying I would stay in this rental again. The location is great; on a quiet stretch of beach in Oceanside. The view is wonderful, and we enjoyed watching surfers in the morning and sunset in the evening. The unit is (mostly) very well appointed, and the beds are comfortable. I do have a few issues, however. We had trouble with the front door lock on more than one occasion and had to call a security guard to help us get in the unit. I got locked in the primary bedroom twice by just shutting the door--I didn't lock it--and it took my husband quite a while jiggling the door knob from the other side to get the door open. The unit needs instructions for working the TV in the living room. When I talked to someone in the office she said "are you tech-savvy? This is what you do...." If you need to be tech savvy, you should have instructions. Finally, there were a lot of scuff marks on the walls and some very beat up end tables in the primary bedroom--which were particularly noticeable because the rest of the furniture was in great condition. So, these are quibbles but are little things that if addressed, would have made our stay perfect. Finally, please note that you need to bring your own toiletries and should bring all your streaming service log in information/passwords.

This location is amazing!! The place is steps to the beach. There are great beds including the couch bed and the kitchen is stocked with tons of items for your stay!!

It was a beautiful landscaped property. Very well taken care of. Securitt was great. Only issue was VRBO hidden fee.

The unit was very clean and had everything we needed for our family with 2 kids under 7. We enjoyed being so close to the beach. We were extremely happy with the communication and flexibility around our schedule. Would definitely stay again.

The property was great - very convenient access to the beach, and lots of amenities on property. The check-in process was a little confusing at first, and we had a small issue with the lock on our front door - but once we figured that out it was great! Highly recommend this property!

This was a very nice unit in a good location! We thought our actual unit backed up to the beach, but it didn't. But the beach was very close. The property was pretty and we enjoyed our stay. Would stay here again!

The unit was equipped with everything you would need in the kitchen. However, the carpet, drapes and furniture were so disgusting. The fans they had available were either broken or filthy. this property was perfect for our family. It was close to the beach with minimal stairs. The beach on the north side of the property has less rocks and good walking. According to the teens, the waves are not as good for body surfing as the south side, but that is up for discussion. The unit was clean, modern. The king bed was really comfortable. The unit does not have left overs from other renters like some units do. There is salt, pepper, small bars of soap and that's it. Knowing that helps with packing. Bring your own everything.

This was our 4th time in this particular unit. Overall this has been our favorite unit. However, this year's stay was a bit disappointing. There is a major lack of maintenance and cleaning. A couple of the portable fans don't work. The ones that do are covered in dust/grime. The carpet is dirty and falling apart by the hall bathroom. The carpet is frayed so much that the carpet nails are visibly protruding. I placed a rolled up towel there to remind my kids not to step there. The couch and blankets smell like they need a good cleaning. A button was missing off the dining bench and a piece of wire/metal was protruding. The master shower seal needs replaced. The master sink is missing a drain cover. The master toilet is loose and would move. One of the kitchen drawers is falling apart. A lot of the cookware looked dirty and beat up. A lot of the handles are starting to corrode due to the ocean air. The walls and baseboards could use a good cleaning and touch up paint. The outdoor patio table has really corroded and the finish is flaking off. I really hope the owners decide to make the necessary repairs and do the upkeep needed as we do like the location and style of this unit. If not, we will have to start looking for a different one of similar style.

This unit was exactly as advertised; clean, views of the ocean, short walk to the beach and pool. The whole property was impeccably maintained and beautiful. This is a great location, close enough to do stuff in San Diego, but also has small-town feel with beautiful beachfront.

This is my second stay at this property and cannot say enough about this rental. The kitchen was unbelievable! It was fully stocked there was nothing to need or want. Great view of the ocean. As always the grounds were immaculate!

We absolutely loved this condo!! The view from the balcony was beautiful, the pictures don’t do it justice. Everything was nicely remodeled. The beds were extremely comfortable. We definitely want to stay here again.
