Our experience began at the airport when Fon was late to pick us up leaving us waiting with our 4 kids. We were delivered directly to the house where Fon promptly rushed off. We had no food and no offer to take us grocery shopping. After a few hours we telephoned back to request a drive to pick up some food. We were taken to the beachfront in Krabi where all we could find was a 7/11. The male driver, although very friendly, didn't speak English well. The knives in the knife block were dirty and required washing before we could use them. There are stray dirty dogs with fleas on the property and they sit outside the sliding glass door by the pool. This house is advertised as 4843 square feet. It is not nowhere near this large. The positive comments on this accommodation are the pool, which is very nice. The view is peaceful and beautiful. The beds and bedding are very good. Be prepared to purchase your bottled water and coffee pods as that is not included. Fon was also kind enough to arrange for transport that we hired to take us to the Ferry after we decided to leave 2 days into our one week stay at this property, For the price, it is our opinion that this is not good value.

The villas are owned by Fon and Michael with Fon providing the day to day Thai experience. The attention to detail is incredible and literally nothing is too much bother. Although the villas are 10 minutes drive from “the action” in Ao Nang, this is no drama whatsoever with the provision by Villa Saifon of a high quality 10-12 seater minibus and (great) driver. The 2 x Saifon villas overlook a small but beautifully landscaped lake stocked with mysterious looking fish including 2 large arapaimas. The backdrop is a soaring limestone cliff covered in verdant jungle. The staff at the villas are superb - very respectful of guests and provide a very pampered experience. An absolute must is a dine at home experience. Fon’s cooking is just incredible. The food was fresh, exciting and far better than anything else we enjoyed at local restaurants. Make sure to schedule this in. Fon also arranged all of our activities and local transport. Well worth utilising her knowledge to ensure a better quality experience overall which includes private boat hire, white water rafting, elephant trekking, ATV,s, etc. Literally cannot say enough about this overall experience. Cannot wait to go back. Thank you Fon and Michael for making my 50th birthday with my family just the best! 😀

We spent a week at Villa Saifon. The pictures and description do not do it justice; this place is absolutely sensational: beautiful, spacious, equipped with all amenities. And even better are Saifon and Michael, the hosts who live next door. They are a fount of information for the Krabi area and go out of their way to assist their guests. One of the very best places we have ever stayed. Top recommendation.
