Great place to stay. Would stay again. Few issues - floors were not clean - fireplace not working - knobs missing on some cupboards in kitchen - hide-a-bed very uncomfortable. Needs new mattress I had a dark jade green shawl that may have been left. Pls advise if found. Thankyou

There can't be a better view anywhere in the town of Tofino: The First Street Dock (the lifeline of the town), Lone Cone Mountain and the islands, the water, the sky, the boats, the seaplanes, the birds. The deck has sun all day long (on sunny days). Watch the light change, and the mist, otherwise. Owner lives below but we saw him once and heard him not at all. Walk down Main Street to Tofino Sea Kayaking for excellent morning espresso. Four minutes. Tonkin Beach is maybe 20 minutes' walk.

Blown away with the view from the large balcony. House very clean and comfortable and well equipped. Easy access to Main Street in Tofino. Hot tub a big bonus.

Four friends got together, from four different places. We arrived to find plenty of space and a deck overlooking the dock, great for viewing the sound and hanging out. We were a short walk to the co-op, to whale watching adventures, and to excellent bakeries. Vista Hermosa even supplied coffee beans, a grinder and what we came to call emergency chocolate, readily taking care of any need for snacks as we walked on nearby trails. Beautiful!

The house has a great 180° sea-view. We saw eagles, sea otters, orcas and great sunsets (in July) directly from the patio. The house is clean, well equipped and is very close to shops and tour operators. We highly recommend this great place.

The title says it all! Plus, Eric was a friendly, responsive host.

We stayed for a wedding that happened to be a quick 5-minute walk to the venue. The home is spotless and extremely accommodating for 2 couples like us or even if you had kids. The hot tub was a nice treat every night or early morning. The view and balcony are the cherry on top, it is immaculate and so lovely to have your morning coffee on the giant balcony. Check-in was seamless, everything was perfect and we had zero complaints! Hoping to bring our families here in the future.

We brought friends from Ottawa to experience Tofino and we all were very impressed with our accommodation. View was amazing! House had everything we needed and was clean, comfortable, spacious and so close to town. Great stay!

Perfect location for the family. The house was clean and beautiful. All provisions required were there and more than required. The view was magic. Spent lots of time on the spacious patio watching the boats and sea planes.

We had a great weekend stay! Lots of room for our kids to crawl and walk around! Easy and quick to walk to tons of local places in Tofino!

Great view of inner harbour and the activities. Walking distance to downtown area. Bonus on the last night with whale sighting from our balcony. Definite return place

We had a great stay ... for us, this is the perfect place for a visit to Tofino. The property is clean, exactly as described, and in a great location. Nice quiet location, it's great being just a few steps away from the grocery store. The property is clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed. Especially nice to have a kitchen that is so well stocked with supplies, it has all the tools you need to do your own cooking. Very comfortable beds and linens, we had great sleeps. Host is excellent, very quick to reply to messages, friendly and accessible. The property is really well kept, but what we really liked about it was the shared spaces. The living room and dining room are big enough that everyone can spend time together and visit, which you wouldn't get if you were renting a couple of hotel rooms. It's big enough that people can have some space on their own, or spend time together. We absolutely loved the location, but especially for the view of the harbour. If there's a day when the weather means you're stuck indoors, you could spend the day looking out that the boats and planes in the harbour. Vista Hermosa was perfect for our vacation, and we hope it works out so we can stay again.

I travelled with my brother’s family (him, his wife, an 11 year old and an 8 year old) because I love Tofino and wanted to share it with my loved ones. The place was nice and spacious- great for me to have some quiet space as I usually travel alone, but also good family space. The hot tub was a huge hit. I great enjoyed my stay and would definitely say it is a great space if you are traveling with your family!

We couldn’t have found a nicer place to stay. The house was clean, the beds were so comfortable, the views were spectacular. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable, we will be back someday.

The Vista Hermosa was such a comfortable house, well equipped and wonderfully clean! We loved watching the activity on the water and the panoramic views were breathtaking. The bag of locally roasted coffee and chocolates were fabulous and much appreciated! Thank you Eric!

This property was everything we needed. Clean, fully equipped and a perfect location. The view was beautiful. We enjoyed the gas fireplace and hot tub. Nice and close to shopping and surf shops with a quick drive to the beach. A true gem. We hope to come back again.

We had a wonderful stay! Beautiful home in a great location with an awesome view of the water! The house was very clean with modern updates, comfortable beds, and plenty of space. The hot tub was a perfect place to relax after a day of touring around; the fireplace was cozy when it got dark out too. Easy walking distance to grocery store & restaurants. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The place had a beautiful view of the harbour. Restaurants close buy and bought crab from the dock to cook. Nice walking trails.

3rd time to same unit and once again great location and very comfortable - rained a lot but trip was good as lots to watch at waterfront and great place to wind down and relax

This was our second visit to this property - the first time was 10 years ago. The facelift to the location looked great! Fantastic location if you want to get out walking in town and enjoy the boats and planes coming and going. Highly recommend this home.

Great stay at vista hermosa. Beautiful location and a very nice home. Everything you need to relax.

The views from the living/dining areas and master bedroom were amazing, and the location couldn’t have been better for walking along “downtown” Tofino. The pizza place a block way was amazing, and grocery store is just as close. We had one hiccup, but owner was quick to rectify the issue even though it was late at night. My only complaint would be that the bedroom/bathroom doors were extremely noisy to open and close, so if anyone got up in the night we all woke up. All in all, was a great place, and I would stay here again!

The home is lovely and well renovated. Location is excellent and views are stunning. We had four adults and two children and there was lots of room. The home was comfortable and very well equipped. I would come back any day.
