The location is excellent if you are in town for events at Notre Dame. Super convenient to campus, downtown and anything you may need. Owner was great and great to work with for this stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Spacious, clean and comfortable stay here! We grew tired off staying a week in a hotel room during our annual trip to South Bend for AYOP. We enjoyed the charming backyard to relax in after a long day! The host was great! Definitely recommend!

This was a perfect house for our family of 7 as we attended a weekend wedding at Notre Dame! The house was well equipped with bedding, towels, and kitchen items. The bonuses were the outdoor space, coffee maker yard games and complimentary bottle of wine! We appreciated the hospitality!

We had a wonderful football weekend at ND. The house was very clean and well equipped. The location is convenient for walking to campus. Bill is a great host who responded immediately to any question we had and left us a nice bottle of wine. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here for a wedding with 7 people (3 couples, 1 friend) and it was so nice to each have our own bedroom. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine (thank you!) and it was really awesome to see the partnership with the Southbend Center for the Homeless. Perfect location for Norte Dame campus and downtown South Bend!

Great property for a football weekend!

Our family of nine, six adults and three children, really enjoyed the house. Everything we needed was available and the children loved the parks and playgrounds. Very nice first time stay in South Bend.

Our family stayed for ND’s move-in weekend and the house was perfect for our needs. Quick drive to campus or about a fifteen minute walk to Eddy St Commons. Our host, Bill, communicated to us throughout the booking to make sure we had everything we needed. The house was outfitted with everything we needed (and more!) - would be a great place for a football weekend. Looking forward to staying here or at another of Bill’s properties in the future!

Our stay at William’s house was great! We had a minor plumbing issue (which is expected with an old charming house) but William responded quickly and had a handyman there within a couple hours! The property was perfect for 6 ladies looking for a short getaway and the fire pit was the perfect scene for a late night gathering. Loved this house and would absolutely recommend to others or stay here again.

We rented two of Bill's houses, a block apart, for a family reunion. Both homes were clean, well-equipped, and in a great location close to campus and downtown. We'd definitely stay there again for a future visit. Bill's very responsive and easy to work with.

Simply the best property I've ever stayed in. Lots of room, beautifully furnished, so functional with plenty of pots/pans/cups/plates. Easy walking distance to campus in beautiful and safe neighborhood. Comfortably slept our large group of 10. We had a wonderful stay and will certainly be coming back!

In town for a ND wedding. Weather was terrible, but this home made up for it! Classic home, well maintained, clean and warm. Great communication with the owner. Highly recommend!

The house is very clean, spacious, open and well stocked with all necessities (towels, blankets, etc.). Host ensured everything was set for our arrival, including snow removal! Host was accessible and responsive to questions. Highly recommend!

We came to town for my mother in law's memorial service. After a very long day of missing flights and eventually driving the 10 hours from PA, in a sloppy snowstorm, it was lovely to find the walkway and porch shoveled and a nice bottle of wine to welcome us. The property was clean, in a nice neighborhood and was as advertised. Our kind host was there early the next morning, shoveling us out again. Very much appreciated! I would definitely recommend this property.

Great location , beautiful backyard and wonderful house

We rented this property to house the bridesmaids and get ready at prior to my wedding. There was ample space and the perfect location! Bill was quick to respond and helpful!

Have to report we had an awesome experience staying at Harters Heights.. First off, thank you to the home owner Bill who was top notch from the very start and very accommodating to us as we had many questions about the property and surrounding area . The advise and help was so appreciated. Bill also has a book assembled that gives directions and detailed insights on everything local including the ND campus The house is centrally located and really close to campus on a quiet street and offered all the amenities one would need for staying a few days or a few weeks. We loved the fact that it was very clean overall, both inside and outside the house. It is an older home and has a few cosmetic issues but overall in great shape. Each bathroom was stocked with amenities and there were Kleenex boxes positioned throughout the house in case one needed one. Given the current pandemic times, i felt very safe in the home. The house has really nice plush towels and plenty of them! Each bedroom was quaint and had adequate sleeping pillows for each bed. We also liked the fact that each room has plenty of lights, both ceiling and table/nightstand lamps which gave a very homey feel. Another bonus was every room except the basement bedroom had a ceiling fan! The kitchen had everything you need and there was a cabinet stocked full of the basic spice essentials and one with paper plates and extra plastic utensils for use. The appliances looked fairly new and the Keurig machine/coffee bar was a big bonus as well. My son wanted to add that he appreciated the many decks of cards, wooden blocks and and card/board games that were provided in the living room. Great touch ! When we make our back to the area, we will look to see if this home is available again.

This was my first rental and won’t be the last cause it was an amazing experience. The property owner was great at communicating and super friendly. I would most definitely recommend his house to anyone I know.

Easy walk to the ND campus. Nice size back yard worked well for an impromptu small pregame tailgate party.

The house was exactly as advertised. The backyard and firepit were great for outdoor visiting with the kids. The owner was extremely accessible and very responsive. When I asked if he had a folding table to use in the yard, he responded that he unfortunately did not, but if I bought one, he would reimburse me. Would definitely recommend the house and stay again myself.

I went to South Bend to celebrate my birthday with my friends and to escape from the pandemic in Chicago. The house was comfortable and clean. Bill is nice and always available to respond to your questions. It was an amazing time.
