The place had many comforts like a great spa and fireplace at night wood burning so lovely. Safe place cool and clean air. Great daily breakfast included with many options very delicious and well made scrambled eggs and bacon daily yougart a fruit and nuts and seed . Honest and good people working and vacationing w a Dog friendly hotel! Rare hard to find place that allows two dogs awesome and was very pleased with their staff also

Breakfast was a JOKE. You calling a new take on breakfast etc. Everything is packaged. For the price we pay for the room, getting packaged cereals, oats, etc is a joke.
In our hotels in India, for the price of the room, breakfast has over 50-60 items. FRESH eggs to order, FRESH ingredients, FRESH juices and so much more.

Room was not clean properly. Bedding is old and dirty. Bathroom sink faucet was hard to open and shower tile was dirty.

Schönes Hotel mit ansprechender Architektur
Wir haben das Hyatt für 2 Tage gebucht, um dem Dauerregen in Santa Barbara zu entfliehen. Architektonisch eine schöne Anlage. Das Personal an der Rezeption war allerdings sehr wortkarg, fast unfreundlich und lustlos. Unser Zimmer (223) war in Ordnung und ruhig, die Matratze allerdings ziemlich durchgelegen. Im Bad gab es nur einen einzigen Haken für gefühlt 15 Handtücher - schlecht durchdacht. Dass man die Fenster im Zimmer nicht öffnen kann, hat uns gestört. Ein wenig frische Luft wäre schön gewesen. Das Frühstück sah auf den Fotos okay aus, war aber höchstens annehmbar und bestand bis auf das frische Obst ausschließlich aus Fertigprodukten (Rührei aus dem Tetrapak, Mikrwellen-Oatmeal & Co., Fertig-Muffins), ... Durch Plastikbesteck & Pappteller entstehen riesige Müllberge.

it was clean. that’s all it had going for it.
the location was awful. next to a freeway and u-haul. perhaps the worst location in Santa Barbara for a hotel. I accidentally booked this location thinking it was a different Hyatt (the price was really high so it wasn’t a stretch to believe). yes it was my mistake but the staff was completely inflexible. he barely said anything when I explained my situation. just kept repeating the cancellation policy.

This hotel was just what I thought it would be for its price range. It's clean, comfortable, friendly staff and has a decent breakfast. The guests who stayed there were really nice people as well. It is located in a very desirable location, just far away but not too much from the beach. You can cross the highway right across from the hotel and head over to Los Olivos for biking or to Solvang to eat and shop in their quaint city centre.
Booking with Expedia saved us money but they gave us the left over hotel room as a result. I tried to change it but they explained about the other rooms being reserved for non Expedia guests but it was worth it because booking directly we would not have got a room. So heads up that you might not get the best room available but the location is great and worth it.

Garnicht gut, für den Preis war das nichts, absolut rudimentär eingerichtetes Hotel, Möbel sind sehr runter gekommen
Fitnesstraum ist sehr gebraucht und in keinem guten Zustand, Sauberkeit als auch der Zustand der Trainingsgeräte.
Frühstück an 6:30 ok… wir haben nicht gefragt bis wann…9 Uhr…9:10 war nichts mehr da, wir fuhren hungrig los!

Gut vom HW 154, von Lake Cachuma kommend, zu erreichen. Einrichtung ist neu und gepflegt.
Auf Spaziergänge sollte man sich nicht einrichten. Lärmige Klimaanlage. Parkgebühren nicht inbegriffen.

The property was average and the amenities were ok for the price - would have rather spent the money elsewhere if we had known the staff would be rude on top of that. We were charged double due to an error the staff made and when confronted about it, the staff would not take ownership. The only remedy they could provide us was to upgrade our room which ended up being a joke and they still charged us for the upgrade.
The staff and the price for the not-so-luxury experience.

My husband was sick and The staff of the 14 august evening was very helpful. He gives me drug and herbal tea.
But the staf at the morning tryed to sell us.
There was too much kind of corn flakes.. but no bread, only bagel and ı dont like bagel.
Boiled eggs was cold.
Knife , fork, plates all was plastic .. like in a 2 star hotel.
