The house was great! Very clean and well maintained. Just a short walk to the beach. Very enjoyable! Great for families.

We choose your property because of the close proximity to the Harvest ride in Suttons Bay. The place was awesome and we had a great time.

The size and layout of this property was perfect for our group - three adult sisters and Mom. The location was walking distance to grocery stores and downtown. There was plenty of storage space inside and outside - we had bikes and beach chairs. The kitchen was well outfitted and the laundry was very convenient. We were very comfortable during our week and I’d highly recommend this vacation house!

What a stroke of luck we had in getting this cottage! We booked very last minute and Lori was able to accommodate us the same day. The location was ideal, a beach at the end of the street, and a short walk to downtown. The cottage was impeccably clean and spacious, and amply stocked with necessities. The beds were comfortable and everyone slept great. Lori was quick to respond to messages and we are so glad we booked with her.

The house was EXACTLY what we were looking for! Everything you need to relax and enjoy Sutton's Bay, just bring your food, clothes and water toys. The accommodations were outstanding, so much more that other places I've stayed at. The town was close to the house; and a public beach in walking distance.

The property was exactly as described in terms of layout and location. It was one of the cleanest and most thoughtfully outfitted cottages we've ever stayed in. From the well-stocked kitchen (with necessities like soap, paper towel, coffee, s/p, etc) to the updated and pristine bathrooms (with hand soap, hair dryer, etc) we loved staying in this cottage. The town of Sutton's Bay is within easy walking and the small public beach on the way was perfect for launching our paddle boards and letting our dog swim. Lori was responsive when we had questions. Overall a great week with our four kids (and thanks for sending us sunny warm days!).

We loved this little cottage for a lot of reasons. The location is perfect, within walking distance to downtown Sutton’s Bay. Several nice restaurants and cute little shops to explore. There’s a small grocery store very close by where you can get all the essentials. The cottage itself is very cute and cozy and it was immaculately clean! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare simple meals and I liked that there were a couple empty cabinets to store your extras. The outdoor grill was clean and in excellent working order, which isn’t always the case in rental properties. We had one very minor question and Lori responded right away. Traverse City is about 15-20 miles away and it’s a pretty drive so we were able to explore on a few different occasions. All in all it was a wonderful experience and we’re already planning our trip next year!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a great size for our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) and the house was bigger than I expected. Check in was simple. Place was very clean and well-stocked. My only suggestion would be to remove the picture that describes private beach and kayaks and canoe as they are no longer available with the rental. We had not realized this and would have brought our canoe had we known. However there is a public beach within walking distance (about 10 minute walk) and another beach in town with rentals.

Great vacation week! Home was clean and spacious. Living room and bedrooms were spacious. Worked well for our family. Close to adult fun spots(brewery and wineries) great small beach with swings. The kids looked forward to their morning walk. Wished the kayaks still came with the rental as we had to rent them, but they were available in town. Sutton’s bay had a lot to offer with shopping, ice cream and places to eat. Large beach area downtown with sand volleyball court. We would rent this home again!

We had a great family vacation at the cottage. Granddaughter thought "up north" was amazing. Enjoyed the kayaks and the beach.

The house was meticulously clean and organized, and while it looks small from the outside, it actually stretches quite a way in back. It has 3 good size bedrooms, one of which has two beds, two doors and a curtain in between so it functions as 2 bedrooms. There are only 2 baths, but they are full baths and good size. The kitchen is easy to work in. And the town of Suttons Bay is just an ideal place for a long weekend or a week - to explore the beaches and wineries, the old fishtown, Traverse City, boating, tennis, golf - whatever suits your fancy. We were so pleased with our stay that we are going to look at returning sometime soon.Lori, the owner, was easy to reach, very responsive, and very honest about everything. A great VRBO owner!

The property was clean, we'll stocked and in a great location. The kids and dog loved swimming at the park beach and walking to town for ice cream. The private beach was through the owner's property but we had it to ourselves and enjoyed the use of the kayaks. We'd definitely come again

This home is a gem... fully stocked to cook for our family of 7, made our mornings so easy to feed when the little ones were hungry and cozy to gather at the end of our day from returning from Leland beach, hiking at Mud lake. Bonus part just enjoying the view from the beach which is a short walk at the end of the block... love the area easy to get to all the adventures places. Thank you to the homeowners on making this trip a success.

Very much enjoyed Lori's home. It was comfortable for our group of 5 and baby - loved the location with easy access to downtown SB, grocery store, parks and surrounding area. The access to West Bay was a bonus and we loved the kayaks. Would stay again.

The property is well kept and in a good location, walkable to downtown Suttons Bay. The "private" beach is not exclusively for the renters of this property. It belongs to the family of the owners. Your beach access will be on someone else's property right in front of their view of the lake. It felt very uncomfortable to use this lake frontage. We checked it out when we first arrived and didn't go back. However, there are other beaches nearby; a small park at the end of the street, another larger one in town and plenty of others on Lake Michigan. The house also had an odor to it every time you enter. Opening the front/back doors helped with the smell. Like every inexpensive older hotel, the mattresses are completely worn out. Besides replacing those, the utility room (right off the kitchen) containing the furnace and washer/dryer needs a door. The HVAC fan (on when A/C is running) is very loud when you're in the kitchen, dining room and living room. Other than that, there was plenty of space for our family of four. We enjoyed staying in Suttons Bay.

Super clean with plenty of room. Loved the use of the private beach and kayaks on the gorgeous bay. Very walkable, friendly town! Owners are right across the street and available but also discreet enough to leave you alone to 😊� enjoy! I took my morning walk to Chimoskis for fresh pastries each morning- those ladies are so sweet 🥮�! I would definitely stay again.

The house had everything we needed. And access to a private beach with kayaks was awesome. My teenagers loved. We ran along the lake and biked. And a short walk into town. Definitely will be back!

We had a wonderful stay! Clean and easy process. The beach was smaller than expected but we were grateful for the access!

The house was clean, well maintained and spacious. We had 8 people (5 adults and 3 kids). The beach is across the street behind owners house which is easy to get to and not uncomfortable. There's also a larger public beach with swings and play equipment that is a walk to short drive. We were very pleased with the house and will probably be back.

Location is perfect, walking distance to downtown suttons bay, beaches, and perfect for making small trips to sleeping bear dunes, Northport, traverse city or wherever. Would definitely recommend.

This house is perfect for 3 couples to stay in comfortably. The house is clean and easy to get to. We enjoyed going into Traverse City during the day and then playing cards all night. I would definitely rent this home again.

Everything was exactly as described - very simple arrangement for several families to stay, and a beautiful location and house! This was by FAR the easiest stay we've had, and while it could only be for a short time this go-round, we had a wonderful experience. The kids loved the location and the beaches, and the parents loved the ease of everything! Lori was an exceptional host, and despite a bit of chaos coming out of the house (isn't check-out always a challenge?!), we were on the road as quickly as possible. Loved it

This was a good place for our family vacation. The location near town, across from the Bay, and walking distance from the park was perfect. The home clean and well equipped. The bold-red letter "guidelines" (rules and fines) with yellow highlighting all over dampened our exceitement and feeling of welcome, but we had no problems. My guess is the owner must have had a bad experience with a renter somewhere along the line. She was very friendly and helpful when we met several days after arriving. The Bay is a perfect place to kayak, and 4 were available for use. That was great. Take notice that no lifejackets are provided (as indicated in the property description). We were lucky to find some at the TC Meijer. The only drawback we found was the limited space in the double bed room. The masterbedroom is huge, as is its closet. Kinda odd, but that's the way the house was built/remodeled. We made it work, and had a wonderful stay. .

We really enjoyed our stay at Lori's property. Everything was clean, comfortable, and in great condition. The house is in a great location. Access to the canoe and kayaks, at Lori's house, is a huge plus! We would definitely stay again!
