Upstairs unit with private parking. It was very clean and across from the beach. Very enjoyable for me and my family.

We enjoyed being able to walk downstairs and be right downtown! It was a little difficult to locate at first, but we figured it out! Property was very clean and well kept! The bathroom was a little small and tub could use some work, but those are the only “negatives” I can think of. Overall a great place!!

Carol was available and we even got to meet her.
The location was great for us spending our time
on the west side of Leelanau county. My only suggestion would be to put a new shower tub in.

Do yourself a favor and book this spot in the most perfect location in town. Caryl keeps this sweet, simple, and cozy place clean, and was responsive and easy to coordinate with.

My family of four (2 kids under 10) spent a week in this very nice apartment. If you’ve never been to Suttons Bay, this place is the perfect home base. Close to the beach and within walking distance to restaurants and stores, plus close to practically everything you could want in the area (Traverse City, Fish Town, Glen Arbor, Sleeping Bear, Northport, wineries, etc,)
The apartment is equipped with everything you need and is plenty quiet at night even though it’s directly on the main street.
We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Clean and great location. The property owner left us a sweet note and gift certificate to some of the nearby shops.

Carol was a great host - responsive and effective.
The property was functional and clean. Twin beds were short - granted, we are a tall family.
The gorgeous public beach is a five minute walk if you dawdle. Main Street is quiet by 9:30 pm so no problem with noise.

A great spacious location in the heart of Suttons Bay. Close to everything - shops, restaurants, and the beach. The space was quiet and had everything we needed for our stay, with great views of the town. Would definitely stay here again!

We had the best time at this apartment! Half Moon was quaint and charming with absolutely everything we needed for our family of four. Perfect location that is walkable to everything in Sutton’s Bay. Would highly recommend and would love to stay here again!

My wife and our little Frenchie stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. It was awesome to be right in the heart of downtown Suttons Bay and watch it wake up and go back to sleep.
We wish we had discovered the attic fan switch earlier because at night, when we opened the bedroom door and had that on, the bedroom cooled so fast!
The back bedroom stayed a little warmer than the main room so a fan would be a good thing to pack.

Location was fabulous for the three of us to reconnect. Had some troubles with kitchen but Carol was very helpful and in communication with us promptly.

We loved Carol's place. Everything is top notch.. It's too bad that dealing with VBO is becoming a chore.. I was not able to communicate with the owner(password not recognized. Unable to reset new password)

We enjoyed our stay quite a bit. The location is perfect. We particularly enjoyed being able to walk to shops, restaurants, and the beach when we had down time from the wedding we were attending in the area. The property was clean and we really liked people watching out of the front windows in the mornings! The only suggestion I would have is to provide a full sized ironing board. A small ironing board was available but it was hard to iron our wedding attire on it.

The apartment is totally equipped with everything we needed for an extended stay on the peninsula; a dedicated parking spot, a coin laundry room, and plenty of space to relax in the living room. A great location in a beautiful town.

We’ve been coming to Leelanau and Sutton’s Bay for the past 8 years and just love it up here. Carol’s VRBO was fantastic. Very clean and lots of space for our family of 3. We loved the location, being able to so easily walk everywhere in town for a bite to eat, glass of wine or a day at the lake! We were so grateful we were able to bring our dog, too.
It was a perfect first vacation with our 6-month-old!

Half Moon was a very nice, clean and quiet apartment above The Happy Woman Store. Well stocked with dishes, coffee maker, paper towels....etc. We enjoyed biking the Leenlanau Trail to Traverse City as well as a trip to Empire to bike the Heritage Trail through Sleeping Bear Dunes. We also enjoyed the many restaurants in town. Bonus was the Jazz Festival in the park on Saturday evening. Weather was perfect which made for a great weekend. Overall is was the perfect place to stay in Suttons Bay. Hope to come back again.

What a perfect apartment! The unit is accurately described in the listing; it is even prettier and more spacious than the photos show. It is one of the cleanest units we have ever stayed in. The windows are very clean! The location is perfect. We walked everywhere. Carol was very easy to communicate with. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. We loved our stay and certainly will stay again.

This was my second time staying here. I love that I can bring my dog. You can walk to restaurants and it’s a short drive to Traverse City. The apartment is very comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The location couldn’t be better, walking distance to all of Sutton’s Bay. The beds were comfortable, and the space was perfect for our family (with three young kids). The unit was fully furnished, so we were able to make a meal or two there, as well. Great experience!

We enjoyed Half Moon. It was very comfortable and a great location to walk to meals and shops in Suttons Bay. A great location to go to a lot of wine tastings at local wineries and some nice areas for walks/hikes.

We truly enjoyed our stay! What a great location! The owner was very responsive and helpful. The unit was very clean, looked like the carpets had just been cleaned, which was helpful since we had 6 month old twins with us! A lot of floor time! Thank you Carol!

Perfect location in downtown Suttons Bay. Very nice apartment.
Loved the keyless check-in as we weren't able to arrive until 11:00 PM. Was only a one day trip for a wedding at nearby Black Star Farms so didn't get to explore the area, but this location would be perfect! I'm sure we will be back

This property was in an excellent location to walk the town. Very comfortable, clean, and roomy. I would definitely recommend to family and friends. We even talked about coming back next year sometime. We also did a wine and cider tour, the location was perfect for that. Thank you for letting us stay!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay in the Half Moon apartment! The place was absolutely spotless. Everything about it was perfect. Check-in was so easy. The location in Suttons Bay couldn’t have been better. We were steps away from everything we wanted to do. Above all, Carol Miller, the owner was amazing. We inadvertently left things when leaving. She was so easy to contact and immediately set about mailing our things to us. She was so kind about it and went out of her way to get everything to us. You will not regret booking this lovely apartment!

Comfortable, clean and ideal location for our annual "Up North" week. Loved our stay in this rental. Plenty of hot water for showers and all amenities that were needed were provided. If you have difficulty navigating stairs this would not be the place for you because it is above a shop on the main street through town. We already miss our time there.

This property was excellent for our family vacation. By staying right downtown Suttons Bay, we were able to walk to shops and restaurants. There was just enough hustle and bustle to enjoy. Access to the beach was a bonus!!
Carol was so responsive when we had a question or needed to make changes. It couldn’t have been any more perfect. Would definitely do this rental again and recommend it to others. Thanks!!
