Clean house at a great location. Spacious layout with everything you need. Host was easy to communicate with and very accommodating.

We really enjoyed the area. There were some cob webs in areas "Terrible around the Bathroom Light". I think "my opinion" there needs to be celling fans or at least a couple of fans to move some air around it smelled musty in the house. Need to upgrade Coffee Pot to maybe a Keurig, the current one takes forever to make Coffee. The parking!! there is none, plan on parking in the street. The bedroom in front is big enough for two to sleep in comfortably however the second bedroom bed is "small Double ??" very small & the third bedroom bed is big enough for one. Just another note there is a awesome Kitchen & Bar right next door that we had no idea it was there "Not mentioned in previous reviews". Not trying to be negative in any way, but this is my review!! Overall I would stay here again. This is very convenient to everything to enjoy in Suttons Bay.

Rather than a cottage, it is an older house split with the "Green Shutter" cottage being the downstairs of an older home. You can hear the tenants upstairs as well as smell their dinner. My husband and I had plenty of room but would not book again. There is one very small, funky bathroom off the kitchen with a stackable laundry set up. The cottage only had one closet in a side room with a twin bed which had some older carpeting that was smelly to me but I smell everything. I believe, the bedrooms are actually a former sun porch which are very spacious and cute but have no closets. The kitchen and living/family area are perfect. Bed was good. We stripped the bed upon checkout and the mattress cover was old, stained or dirty.

We loved the proximity to all Sutton's Bay has to offer. However the property needs some tender loving care. The grass wasn't mowed and the property is almost covered with overgrown trees/shrubs. Three bedrooms and only one closet. You could take out desks and put in a wardrobe which is needed. Holes in the plaster and unfinished painting in one bedroom. Kitchen is cute and furnished with what you need.

The cottage was very clean and cozy. We were staying for the purpose of visiting Hop Lot and using Suttons Bay Bikes for a wine tour. The cottage was a great location to walk to both of these places- there is easy access to walk to all of downtown Suttons Bay.

Our had a large kitchen and living area and was comfortable enough to host dinner for everyone two nights during the week. Out the back yard and across the street was a public beach with playground and picnic area. I would surely rent again if I ever come back.

Cute little property, we stayed in the front cottage. No one was staying in the other cottages but I did notice parking could have been challenging if more than one was taken. Renting this property with multiple families (talking front, back and the other one on premise) would be ideal in my opinion. Only issues we had were we had a hard time getting the door unlocked in the cold. Locks froze and at 1:00 am back cottage alarm went off, no one’s fault but we did not know what to do because there was not an alarm on front cottage. We could see in one of the bedrooms there was a door that led to the back cottage. We found it was unlocked so we locked it cuz we were freaked out. Good news! We all left alive and well with a story to tell. Was comfortable with plenty of seating. Three separated bedrooms with televisions if you want some down time.

Our stay was very relaxing. Enjoyed the space, three bedrooms, roomy kitchen. Highly recommend for family time, shopping, and great local food.

Location could not be better. There is road noise, which did not bother our group.

The house was great and plenty of room. Very cute kitchen and comfortable beds with a nice bathroom. My only complaint is their key box. We had to enter the code several times it was like it was getting stuck and same thing when we tried to lock up. Finally on what was probably the 15th try we got it. I have used hundreds of key boxes before on vacations or working with realtors and have never had so much difficulty. It was raining and cold not for sure if maybe the box was slightly frozen. Otherwise it was great and we would definitely go back again.

This is a great location for hiking and biking as well as visiting the many local wineries and microbrewers. Convenient to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Northport and the Old Mission Peninsula, with a quaint downtown and great local restaurants.

Large, well-equipped and conveniently located. It is right next door to a restaurant that was noisy until 10 pm, which wasn't a problem for us, but might be for families with children. Bathroom off the kitchen smelled bad, but everything else was clean and comfortable.

It really felt like spending time at a friend's summer place. We enjoyed morning coffee in front of the gas fireplace and evening wine on the front porch as we watched the quiet community go by. This cottage is very well appointed with everything we could have wanted (except, perhaps a lamp in the double bedroom). The location is really convenient for enjoying all that the Leenanau Peninsula has to offer and downtown Suttons Bay is just a short walk away. Hoping to have an excuse to rent Green Shutter Cottage again.
