Great location, beds were in fact very nice, great beach chairs/umbrellas, etc. The overall cleanliness of the property was less than average. It does need painted, doors fixed so they shut properly, and just some attention. It is fine, really, but it is not a high-end accommodation.

The property was great, we had a wonderful time

In general the property is outdated (hard to tell in online pictures). Furniture is dated. Unit was not clean when we arrived, floor was dirty and needed vacuuming (vacuum cleaner is very old). Electronic lock did not work, got lock box code to use key. Not enough bath or beach towels (2 each). Furniture is outdated. Both toilets are not properly secured to the floor. Shower head very loose in wall. Kitchen faucet wand leaking into cabinet, we fixed and cleaned up water. 2 Refrigerator shelves broken. Pots and pans are old and surfaces flaking off. Plates are plastic and old. TV's are outdated - fuzzy pictures. Two dishwasher tablets for a week stay. We won't rent this property again.

Our family loves this location. With the beach and pools we had a relaxing vacation. The condo has everything you need for your stay.

It’s a given ocean front property with a pool and view is going to be amazing. As somebody that has tempur pedic mattresses at home it is usually a guarantee that whatever bed I encounter while traveling is not going to compare to home and many times this results in body pain pretty quickly. The beds in this unit are excellent! Both bedrooms are similar quality and definitely compare to my home situation of medium tempur. We are definitely returning as this feature added to our experience significantly! The place was also well stocked and had everything we needed for the beach, starter coffee filters, plenty of seasoning.

Two wonderful weeks in paradise with a view of the gulf and sunsets. Very responsive owner with concierge who was on duty 24/7. During a power outage I received current updates and answers to my questions. Very well stocked kitchen and bathrooms.

The condo was great for my family (3 kids, ages 17, 12, and 12). Loved l sitting on the balcony and looking at the ocean. Very nice to have the beach chairs - there was enough for our whole family. It was also nice that the condo was only a short drive from the entrance. It was easy to walk to many places to eat and shot. Would stay there again.

Will be back.

Great ocean views and proximity to amenities

We really enjoyed our time at this property. The unit had everything we needed and the proximity to the beach and pool is amazing! You can see the ocean and watch the sun test from the porch if you want to! This was perfect for our family of five and exactly what we needed to enjoy a beach trip! Would definitely stay here again.

Very convenient location. With entrance steps away from the elevator. The apartment is very well equipped with practically everything you’ll need for an extended visit. Host provided great information prior to arrival with easy to understand instructions. Very likely to be a repeat visitor.

We really enjoyed our stay!

Good condo if you want to be close to beach, pool and sunset! Not far from all of the island shopping and restaurants. Condo was clean, easy to access, lots of extras for beach. Finishes/furnishings are a bit dated and kitchen is tiny but if you are looking for a good location this is it.

We had a great relaxing time. The condo was beautiful and was in a great location. Would love to come back one day.

Kim's villa had everything we needed for a relaxing stay; it was very well equipped. We brought extra paper products with us and food for breakfasts and snacks and we ate lunch out a couple of days as well as dinners. Loved Doc Ford's outside seating for ambience and the food was good. Enjoyed lunches at Key Lime Bistro and Green Flash. Favorite restaurant was Mad Hatter - we would love to go back! We also enjoyed dinner at Old Captiva House which was at Tween Waters Resort - saw a gorgeous sunset there too. Had a slight AC mishap and Dream Vacations management was quick to have someone out to help us with that. It was nice to meet Kim who dropped by after phoning me and she provided us with 2 more beach chairs and an additional umbrella since we had 4 adults staying in the villa. We rented a golf cart for our stay from Sunny Island Adventure and that was so convenient; the only time we had to drive was to go the Mad Hatter restaurant which was in Sanibel. We celebrated my sister's birthday (which is today!) and she said she would go back to Kim's villa in a heartbeat!

Perfect location, kitchen well equipped, linens fresh and updated. Kim was professional to deal with and everything was as described. Beach umbrella and chairs had taken a beating but we expected that since the owners prepared us for an unknown status. Rental company went above and beyond to help with a left behind iPad. Love the place! Will be back!

Property is perfectly located at Captiva's end, great beach, restaurants and shops nearby. Wonderful stay.

This unit has a lot of potential. The views are wonderful, the beds are comfortable. The unit wasn’t very clean - top bedding hadn’t been laundered, floors were a mess, but Kim had the cleaning service do another quick mop after we arrived.

This was our third trip to Captiva and it was great to be back. The condo was everything Kim said it was including the beach chairs which we used often.

We loved the unit and how convenient it was to beach and numerous restaurants. There was just my wife and I but could have easily had guests. Unit was well equipped with all we needed.

This was exactly what we were looking for on our time away from home. Very clean, great view of the ocean and nice amenities as well as nearby restaurants and activities to keep you busy. This place was everything it said it was going to be! WiFi was not strong, but we wanted to be unplugged so it did not make much of a difference. We would definitely come back!

This was an excellent location that was close to the beach. The condo was perfect and the view was even better. Will definitely be visiting again.

Came here with 3 of my high school friends. We loved the condo. The location is excellent. Gorgeous views from the lanai. We were very happy and look forward to coming and staying at Kim's condo again!

Don’t be fooled by the title and pictures - this unit only has 3 beds. I know that it is mentioned in the text description, but my party was fooled by the “Sleeps 8” and Bedroom 1 - King bed (2). We thought there were 4 beds, but there were only 3. I have never had this problem before on vrbo. I asked the owner to change the deceptive pictures, but she hasn’t - so be warned. Of the 8 people that this unit can sleep, 2 will have to be in pack n plays that you bring yourself. We had to put someone on the couch - it’s a safety issue during Covid to not know how many beds are in a unit. This is just one reason I can’t recommend this rental. This place is only somewhat passable as a rental if you have the right number of people. It has worn furniture, beat up beach equipment and tired kitchen accessories. It all needs some TLC. The upstairs shower never really gets hot and has mold in the knob. There was a smashed bug on the wall. The sliding door got more and more difficult to open. We had to have maintenance come to fix it but as our time went on it got hard to open again. It should be replaced. Although the king bed was pretty comfortable, the queen in the loft had a saggy mattress. The close pool was under repairs when we visited, not the owner’s fault. We just used the next one over. We enjoyed the quick access to the beach and seeing ospreys. The older folks liked the elevator access. Only one bedroom can be accessed without stairs FYI. The last reason I can’t recommend this place is because of the surly attitude the owner had in communications with me. I emailed to ask about a pending hurricane. Instead of answering my question, the owner schooled me that the storm was currently a tropical storm - irrelevant because it was forecast to strengthen back to a hurricane. It took 2 emails to get an answer there. She was also difficult to deal with about the type of coffeemaker - 2 more emails. These were the only 2 questions I asked and I had a bad experience with both. Maybe she has too many properties to deal with this one. Stay somewhere else within the complex, it’s a nice beach.

I've been to Captiva a few times and so I'm pretty familiar with the everything the island has to offer. The condo is very close to the gates of the resort so it makes going to the beach, grocery store, and any restaurant very accessible. Also, the condo is as close to the beach as you can get, so carrying chairs, towels, coolers and snacks is so easy. It's a really great spot and I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay on Captiva.

Not impressive. The minute my son checked in they noticed filthy water, sand and hair in the upstairs bathtub. They immediately took a picture and sent it to the company that manages the condo and were told a plumber would be sent over. Plumber never showed their whole stay. They didn’t let this stop them from having an enjoyable stay but they couldn’t use the upstairs shower or bathtub. It is not inexpensive to stay at this resort and there is no excuse for this to happen. Needless to say we will not rent this property ever again

I had never planned a vacation online before. I was cautious about everything. Ms. Kim, our property owner, answered all emails with my questions before our arrival. Everything exceeded our expectations in the best ways from check-in to leaving Captive Island. Many thanks for a great family vacation.

The property was great. Very clean! Well stocked with most anything you could need. We really appreciated having the beach chairs and umbrella to use. Communication with the owner was easy. We would definitely consider staying again!
