This is a beautiful property and perfect for our family of 11. We had so much fun, saw iguanas, monkeys and pizotes! The rooms and beds were comfortable, AC worked amazingly. Perfect short walk to playa guiones where we surfed twice a day! Only downside is the construction noise going on, lots of building of new homes etc. I’m sure this is good for the economy so we just rolled with it!

The property has potential but sadly doesn't live up to it.
When we arrived, we noticed the deck by the pool was very unstable, rotted wood. It can be very dangerous so please be aware if you are planning to bring small children or older adults. We informed the property manager of this and he said they were planning to fix it in the coming years (?) We had a few stubbed toes on our week there.
There were many small issues/annoyances, like the outdoor shower was broken (didn't drain), pool lights broken, toilets/plumbing were awful (the property manager will say that is par for the course in Nosara but it is not, we've stayed at many other places there). LOTS of ants, in the showers, bathrooms, all over the deck that we had planned to do yoga on. There were dirty razors and bottle caps left in the shower. On Semana Santa (weeks around Easter) the water ran out every night from around 7pm-10am the next morning.
A large disturbance is the construction in the neighborhood that started early and continued for most of the day. If you choose to rent this property I would recommend looking into that before renting.
Be sure to update the amt of guests your bringing, as they will have their staff count and report back and charge you. We had a couple last minutes guests and we were charged.
Nosara is a great place, but this house and property manager are way below par. You can do better!

Las Brisas is in a fantastic spot, walkable to surf schools, restaurants and the beach. Our extended family of 9 was super comfortable with the property layout and amenities. The grounds are natural jungle and we saw different animals come through each day, from birds to iguanas and howler monkeys to coatimundis! Our concierge Ed was amazingly accommodating and the services arranged (cleaning, laundry, chef) were delivered by lovely local professionals. We would definitely visit Las Brisas again.

Thank you for an amazing stay. The location is excellent, only a few minutes from Playa Guinoes. The houses were very clean and the beds very comfortable. The housekeeping and gardening staff were very friendly.

Las Brisas exceeded our expectations in every way! We were two families with three children ages 7-12. The layout with two separate living quarters with the combined outdoor living space was more than ideal! The pool was perfect for the kids, and they loved playing chess and ping pong. The location in Playa Guiones is just the right distance to and from the beach and restaurants. Nosara is an amazing area, and staying at Las Brisas will not disappoint! We look forward to visiting again.

The house was amazing and in the best location! The Ranchero was a wonderful place to eat and hang out in the evenings. The property manager was easy to get in touch with and very helpful in planning various parts of our vacation. I would love to stay here again.

Perfect for our family
We absolutely loved this VRBO. Located in the quieter J section it was the perfect location for beach access. Our 4 kids (ages 16-20) are avid surfers and it was less than a 5 minute walk via the path to the beach. We were all very comfortable in the two houses and it allowed a lot of spaces for all of us to hang out. The pool was delightful during the heat of the day and the outdoor kitchen was the only kitchen we used. The wifi was fantastically fast. Communication with Ed and Angie was prompt and seamless. Everything exceeded our expectations and our only regret was returning home!

Beautiful Property
We loved the property, especially hanging out in the rancho and front porch area playing ping pong. We had yoga lessons in the upper level of the rancho which was fantastic. The property is close in proximity to the beach for surfing and several restaurants. We rented a couple of carts to get around and were glad we had them.
The plants and animals surrounding the property are a sight to behold!

Incredible property
We have been renting in playa guiones for years and have to say, this was our favorite property so far. The outside kitchen and lounge area cannot be beat. House was very clean and a very short walk to the beach. As good, if not better, than advertised.
Ed and Angie were terrific hosts and also helped coordinate a private chef (highly recommend) and a golf cart rental. They were both extremely attentive to our needs.
Would definitely recommend and will be renting here again in the future. Pura Vida

Annual guys surfing / fishing trip
This is our 11th year vacationing in Playa Guiones with the same 6-8 friends. Las Brisas ranks as our favorite if not second favorite vacation house (losing only to a direct beach access). The layout is great and location perfect. I actually slept in the yoga loft 2 nights until the bugs chased me away the 3rd. Our house staff was amazing and gracious. We hope to return next year.
My only recommendation for improvement is to have a few boosters for the wifi.

Perfect spot near beach. Loved watching monkeys everyday eat mangoes from trees above the loft. Iguana near pool was cool for kids. Air conditioning in rooms was great relief from heat pool was great for kids with outdoor kitchen for gathering. Patri helped with everything we needed. Loved it!

Outstanding stay from the accommodations, location and friendly staff. We had two families so the two separate houses were perfect and the communal outdoor kitchen area was the perfect hangout spot when we weren't out having fun. Beautiful property and beautiful destination.

Another wonderful trip to Nosara and Las Brisas
We first stayed at Las Brisas in 2014. It was not our first time in Nosara but our first time with 11 family members. That trip was perfect so not quit 5 years later we all wanted to do it again, especially since we had discovered Las Brisas. The accommodations could not be more perfect for a large gathering. Spread out with lots of privacy but a wonderful central area where we spent 90% of our time. The location could not be more perfect for just walking to shopping, especially the beach or restaurants.
We had the luxury of a cook, Lisbeth Cruz, who truly made it a vacation. We had her in 2014 and were lucky to have her available this time also. We loved going to yoga at Harmony Hotel, the kids took aerial yoga at Boden Tree (I wanted to do that ,but couldn't work it in) and a highlight of the trip Escape Nosara. We set the record, so far, of being able to figure out how to work together as a team and unlock hidden treasure within 43 minutes with no clues. We surfed, watched the sunset each night, played for countless hours in the pool, explored in golf carts and ATV's and had a great time watching the howler monkey's come through picking the mangos. They are very early risers unfortunately.
The accommodations at Las Brisas just set the mood for another great family vacation in Nosara, hopefully not the last.

Amazing place, great location, responsive and gracious owner - highly recommended!
We had a great stay at this amazing and special property in Nosara. Great location less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and walking distance to a number of very good restaurants. There are two houses nestled in beautiful large gardens with a total of 5 spacious and comfortable bedrooms in which the A/C worked well. Beautiful custom Costa Rican hardwood furniture and cupboards. Most of the bedrooms have French doors that open to verandas/patios. Amazing central outdoor space including a fully equipped outdoor kitchen where we made breakfast each morning and an outdoor living area with comfortable couches and a very large yoga loft above. Large refreshing pool in the center of the complex. We weren’t a large group but it is very well suited for one. The design of the complex seems in harmony with the beautiful gardens and the Costa Rican “pura vida”. Friendly and helpful property management staff. Felt safe during our stay with the wall around the perimeter of the compound (with parking inside) and other security features. WIFI worked well. We have been to Costa Rica quite a few times and have rented other properties and this is one we would definitely recommend and stay at again.

Relaxing. Beautiful. Pura Vida!
Our team thoroughly enjoyed our stay -- everything was clean, well appointed, and ready for our stay. The property manager was responsive and super friendly. We loved the location, the pool was fantastic, and everything was terrific. We were entertained one day by a tribe of howler monkeys traversing the trees above (almost 20 of them!), mamas with babies on their backs and the male monkeys leading and bringing up the rear. FANTASTIC! Highly recommend and we hope to return in the future! Pura Vida!

Perfect compound oasis very close to beach
las Brisas is a fantastic rental in the Nosara/ playa guiones area. We had a group of 8 surfer teens and it was the ideal location for everyone to be able to spread out and come and go to the break and surf shops in n their own time. Highly recommend!

Paradise
Our small group of friends enjoyed a wonderful stay at Las Brisas! It’s perfectly located within a short walk from the beach, several surf shops, yoga studios, and restaurants. Other amenities such as a bank, gas station, and well-stocked grocery stores are only a short drive away.
All of the rooms at Las Brisas were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The pool was a wonderful oasis and was partially shaded in the afternoons. We spent much of our time using the fully-equipped outdoor kitchen and the living area.
This place is perfect for families and other groups looking for a relaxing vacation.

This was my family's second stay at Las Brisas. I highly recommend it for a group of 8-12. We love the private compound with the pool, common living area and open kitchen. We love the easy access to the beach at Playa Guinones. It's a 3 minute walk. It is also very close to Harbor Reef and the Beach Dog Cafe for delicious meals.

Great house with a few challenges
Overall we really love staying at this house. Do know that there are only air-conditioners in the individual bedrooms, there is not an air-conditioned communal space. This was not a great big deal except on the hottest of days. Get used to monkeys, lizards, bugs. They're everywhere! The property manager was awesome and Took care of all of our needs. Overall we really liked Las Brisas and would return again someday.

Las Brisas Nosara Costa Rica
Paradise!!! The property is gorgeous and spacious ( there were 8 of us and had plenty of room) and 2 minutes from a great surf beach which was never too crowded! Ed, the property manager met us on arrival, checked in on us frequently with tips on the area and things to do, and saw us off the day we left. Daisy, the housekeeper was lovely and helpful. Many things to do-but the beach was our go to place. Great places to eat-locals warm and friendly. Should have done 10 days instead of 7! Next time!

Incredible Trip & Amazing House
We spent a week at Las Brisas. I can't imagine staying anywhere else. You are just a short stroll from the ocean and the main street with all it's shops and restaurants. The property is large and spacious, much bigger than the anything else we saw in Nosara. And it is superbly maintained. There is a wonderful housekeeper there every day. (Make sure you ask Daisy to make her famous Chicken for you!) The house has so many wonderful amenities. It can accommodate large groups without feeling cramped. You can tell the owners truly take pride in their home, and we loved staying there. I can't wait to go back!

A fantastic birthday week - we will be back!
I brought a group of 9 to Las Brisas de Nosara in September to celebrate my 30th birthday. We were a mix of couples and singles, so the layout with 2 master bedrooms and several other rooms was ideal for our group. We loved having the outdoor kitchen and living area in the rancho - this is where we congregated when at the house. Some of the group could be cooking or hanging out in the shade and still be able to talk to those in the pool. We cooked about half of our meals at the house and found that we had all the dishes and kitchen tools we needed. Daisy, the housekeeper, came 3 times during our stay to clean and do our laundry (next time we'll be able to pack lighter knowing that's available). The caretakers were so hospitable, dropping in to check on us, arranging transportation from the airport, and picking up groceries before our arrival.
The location really can't be beat. The beach is a short walk from the house. We also walked to many nearby restaurants (Harbor Reef Hotel, Beach Dog Cafe - a favorite, Rosi's Soda, Al Chile, etc.), shops, the bank, and the market. For places further afield, we arranged an inexpensive shuttle ride.
I would absolutely recommend this rental and my group will be back!

This was an awesome experience for me being in Nosara with family ; so relaxing, so much to do in
such fabulous weather and such wonderful food. The children enjoyed the pool and the beach, especially
the surfing so close to the house. The best part about the 3 building complex is the relaxing areas for families with children and quiet areas for grandparents or other guests. The open kitchen and eating area is a delight.

Amazing getaway!
If you are looking for incomparable sunsets, amazing surf breaks, flat expansive beaches, soothing yoga, exhilarating horseback riding, access to the freshest food or any one of the above - A stay at Las Brisas in Nosara is the perfect getaway. The house/compound is truly a gem. I have visited Las Brisas twice and I am already planning a 3rd trip. Two visits were with young children and one was a Girls Getaway. Every room and outdoor area is well-appointed with just the right layout to spend quality time together, or be able to relax quietly on your own. You have it all at Las Brisas - from modern appliances, air conditioned bedrooms and WIFI to plush outdoor couches by a luxe pool with hammocks surrounded by lightly manicured jungle. This trip was a gift for the mind, soul and body. The owners and property managers were incredibly responsive and helpful.
