The house was perfect for our needs. The house and yard are beautiful and the location was perfect. We could walk to the beach but the house is not on a busy street. We'd love to come again!

We can’t say enough about this rental! The home is stylish and well appointed while also comfortable and relaxing. It is in walking distance to the beach and a short drive to other beaches as well as the sights of Newport. And we so appreciated the help from the gracious and friendly owners. 10 out of 10 all around.

The house is wonderful, very clean, everything you need is available - beach chairs, towels, BBQ, etc. Linda makes sure you have what you need and checks-in in case you have any questions. Although, you don't have any questions because she gives you all your answers before you even ask. The beach is a quick walk and the neighborhood is beautiful for evening strolls. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Cozy enough for a couples getaway, but plenty of room for a family vacation. I understand why Linda calls it her Happy Place!

Everything was perfect, house is decorated beautifully and in great location. Walkable to beach and Cliff Walk and short drive to Newport. Linda is very attentive and great to communicate with. Would definitely choose this property again!

We really enjoyed our time at 152 Tuckerman. The house was in impeccable condition and was the perfect spot for our long weekend away. I highly recommend this rental. The owner was very communicative and helpful.

The house was charming, immaculate and exactly as advertised. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed Newport for dinner Friday night, the bounty of the Aquidneck Growers Market where we bought, bread, veggies and meats for a Saturday cookout. We walked to Easton's Beach Saturday and Sunday and were grateful for the chairs and towels. It was a great place to escape our shelter in place lifestyle in Providence. We really felt like we got away. Our host, Linda was a delight to work with! We would love to go back sometime!

We just returned from a week stay in Linda's beautiful and wonderfully appointed beach house in Middletown. Our three boys range in ages of 13 to 5 and we found the house to have adequate space with a private backyard and easy walking distance to First Beach. The house was meticulously clean and Linda thought of all the niceties to make our trip extra special from lovely soaps to a well stocked kitchen. This was our first trip to Rhode Island and we enjoyed the short distance to many local beaches in the afternoon with mornings spent sightseeing throughout Newport. We would love to return to this gem of a house in the near future!

We had a wonderful time staying in Linda's home. It was the perfect size for four adults and two children. The house is even more beautiful than the pictures and has everything you need. Linda was incredibly helpful and available any time to answer questions or make recommendations. I cannot say more positive things about this experience!

This was a lovely, clean and tastefully decorated home in Newport, close to everything. Walking distance to the beach, with all amenities available for your vacation's pleasure. The host was very communicative, courteous and available to answer any question. You'll love Newport and this welcoming home. We had wonderful time.

My husband, our two girls and I stayed for 4 days and really enjoyed our stay! The location was wonderful and quiet, the house was clean and Linda was very accommodating and even let us stay late on the last day because we weren’t ready to leave yet. We will definitely be back to visit and stay in this home!

Very convenient to beach. Clean. Has all essentials (towels, beach gear, etc.). Private backyard area was a nice plus.

We are a family of four ( two teens) and just returned from a wonderful stay. Very comfortable home with all the amenities you need. Linda was very quick to respond and very helpful. Highlights were walking down to see sunset at First Beach and catching sunrise and watching surfers from Purgatory Chasm park/overlook( short ride down Tuckerman). Newport is an easy ride and never had issues with parking but it is pricey. We enjoyed the mansions (bought a family membership- able to skip the ticket line and visit as many as we wanted!) Highly recommend staying in this beautifully decorated single home. Will return soon we hope!

My family and I stayed in the Cottage for 4 days over the 4th of July weekend! The cottage was clean and spacious. With our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) and my parents, we had plenty of room. The cottage was conveniently located where we could walk to the beach or take a short ride into Newport! The house was fully equipped with everything you need! The kitchen was nice and well stocked with appliances. The bedrooms were roomy and the décor was very cute. For the beach, they provided plenty of beach chairs, towels, and even boogie boards that my kids LOVED! The cottage was a 5 minute walk to the sandy beaches of Newport! FYI- You don't need to bring much because they have everything you need! Linda was a great host! Check in was smooth and Linda was easy to reach via text when we had a question. My family and I were looking for a nice and relaxing vacation and we got that and more! If you are looking for a place to stay- book this cottage! You won't be disappointed!! We look forward in coming back again!

We stayed 9/7/17-9/10/17 for my sons wedding the house was absolutely perfect. The yard was great for all the groomsman to hangout prior to the wedding.

We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend in Linda's adorable house. The house was exactly as pictured, which was extremely helpful in planning our trip. The location is perfect. We were a couple of minutes from the beach, a doable walk or a quick Uber to downtown Newport, and minutes from Sweetberry Farm and Newport Vineyards. Linda was very helpful answering our questions and providing recommendations for our time in Newport. We would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this charming cottage. Everything is beautifully decorated and the unit really has everything you need. The owners were easily accessible for any questions and provided tips about the area. We'd love to stay here again.

I can't say enough good things about Linda and her home in Middletown. My wife and friends come to Newport every year for the folk festival, and Linda's home was a great place to come back to after a full day of music. The rooms are spacious, there are nice chairs outside next to the grill, and the proximity to the beach can't be beat. Linda was extremely responsive, helpful and accommodating. This was one of the best HomeAway experieces I've had. We hope to come back!

I would recommend renting this house based on the owner alone! Linda was fantastic and answered all of my questions about the area since it was our first visit to Rhode Island. We really liked the location of the house -- easy walk to First Beach and a quick drive to Newport. We were even able to walk to dinner with a couple close dining options. My sister is an avid runner and actually ran to and on the Cliff Walk every morning which was absolutely beautiful - she would send me fabulous pictures of the sun rising. The yard is very cute and private allowing you to just sit and relax. The towels and linens are excellent quality and comfortable. We had a great time and would definitely return.

Stayed at this Middletown property for an extended Labor Day weekend with five friends. The home very comfortably fit six people and the listing photos just don't do the home justice. While the kitchen is very basic the rest of the home is updated, beautifully decorated and had everything we could possibly need. Towels and sheets were provided and the beach chairs and boogie boards we could use for the beach were an added plus! There were benefits and drawbacks to staying in Middletown (the property is about a 10 minute drive to downtown Newport), the benefits were we were walking distance to two amazing beaches and able to have a home base in a beautiful neighborhood that was spacious with a yard, outdoor entertaining space, etc. Nevertheless, we did need to drive or take a cab at night to visit the mansions tours, do the cliff walk, and go out in Downtown Newport. The owner was great about providing us with some dinner recommendations (we loved the rooftop bar at the Vanderbilt Grace!) and was very easy to get in contact with if we needed anything throughout our stay. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend this home if you're looking for a relaxing stay in Newport.

We had a wonderful vacation in this home. It is as pictured and absolutely spotless. The provided sheets and towels are of high quality and the beds are comfortable. If you are hoping to cook gourmet meals, the kitchen will fall short of your expectations. It worked for us - there are so many great restaurants in the area - who wants to cook dinner on vacation! The location was wonderful - within easy walking distance to First Beach and a longer wak to Second Beach. The yard is private and we enjoyed the Adirondack chairs after each beach day. Linda is a generous and responsive host and we so appreciated her hospitality. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Our family had a great time staying in this house near Newport. The beach is a short walk, and the kids enjoyed playing in the sand, swimming, riding the carousel and eating cotton candy. The house is nicely decorated and feels like home. The owners were so welcoming and helpful upon arrival and were easy to reach with questions. Newport has so much to offer and is a quick drive from the house. We toured the Breakers and Fort Adams, and had a wonderful long weekend. We highly recommend this place and hope to visit again.
