The house offered it all, perfect location to gather and celebrate my son’s wedding..

We were a group of 5 older women. We ALL loved the house. Very spacious, well appointed and supplied. Any support or information needed was close by and immediate. Great house for finding privacy as well as gathering as a group! We will definitely meet there again for another memorable reunion.

Stayed at the property with lifelong friends for a girls weekend and it was such a perfect house for that and for other group and family stays! - Property owners were proactively engaged the whole time, flexible and accommodating. - The property was clean, VERY spacious and in a superb location. - All of the rooms were very large, clean and well kept. Honestly, the pictures don’t do it justice! - Kitchen is clean, well stocked and has lots of space. - The sitting areas including the front living room, sunroom and dining area are suitable and comfortable to fit a good size crowd. - We visited in winter but were able to see that the backyard is quite spacious. - There’s a nice office space in a quiet corner of the house for those who may have to do some work - which some of us did… - Plenty of bath and shower space All in all a great visit and highly recommend this property!

We enjoyed a great family ski weekend with our elementary school aged children. Plenty of space, well-equipped kitchen, super clean. Quick trip into town for restaurants, accessible to nearby ski mountains. We would absolutely recommend this property and would stay again!

Great location, convenient to many Berkshire attractions. The house itself is spacious and comfortable, good for a large group (we were 11). Only downer was property needs some TLC and a thorough cleaning.

This was a fabulous property to gather and stay as an extended family for a wedding celebration. Everyone was in awe of how much space we had to spread out and how the common areas were large enough for us to all gather around and enjoy!

We had a wonderful stay at the Gatehouse! The house is very large and comfortable and the outside is terrific. It is a prime location in the Berkshires. The host was very communicative. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it highly!

The Gate House was perfect for our group of 7, who gather each year for a Tanglewood weekend. Location was quiet and afforded easy access to Lenox, Lee and Tanglewood. Kitchen was well equipped, bedrooms were spacious, and there were private spaces for everyone. And when we arrived, there was wine, cheese, fruit, chips and cookies for us! Also a good area to walk, which our group likes to do. We are booking for another year.

We had a lovely weekend in the Berkshires. Golden Hill is a perfect home base for Tanglewood and all of the wonderful offerings in the Berks. The property is spacious and well appointed. Our host was responsive when there were questions. We will be back!

Beautiful house and property. Great location

The location was great- <15 minutes to Guidos, <5 minutes to great ice cream (High Lawn), Lenox Beach (private, $5 entry fee) and the trail across was perfect for everyone to "get away" without having to get in a car.

All as described. Well appointed with everything needed. Welcoming host and great communicator. Made our stay a wonderful and comfortable experience for 8 adults. Would stay here or at another one of this host’s properties without hesitation. Absolutely recommended.

The Gatehouse and its property are as beautiful as in the photos, which was important because the weather did not cooperate and we spent a lot of time inside on our New Years family vacation. The house was clean, well-stocked, and spacious. We especially loved using the new-looking walking trails right across the street!

We spent the most magical weekend in the Berkshires and one star in our memories was this house. It was large enough to comfortably accommodate our extended family of 11 and to host a family dinner. The bedrooms were spacious and the living spaces too, including kitchen and dining room. The pictures found on the VRBO site accurately capture the charm of this home. The host was especially wonderful to communicate with, finding thoughtful ways to enhance our stay. We felt very welcomed and found this home to be a great place to gather and relax together. The location of this house could not have been more desirable given its proximity to numerous sites, Berkshire attractions, and restaurants..

My husband and I, with our 3 adult children and their partners, enjoyed a wonderful long weekend in this home. The bedrooms were perfect - private and spacious with beautiful hardwood floors, without lots of knick knacks, perfect for this family with lots of allergies. No allergy issues at all noted in this house. We found everything we needed in the kitchen - there was plenty of room for everyone to help (or not) with meal prep. We used the deck, fire pit and badminton net. It was an easy trip to town for the farmer's market and groceries. Check in was easy, we had no issues at all, and appreciated the delightful snacks left to welcome us. We also appreciated that there was a pile of wood, tarped for weather, so that we could enjoy a roaring fire very easily. This home was the perfect place to reconnect, as we 4 couples now live in 4 different states. We would all love to return here for another stay.

This was a perfect place for our family to get together after 2 years apart! House was perfect - we’ll equipped and comfortable. Owners were very responsive and helpful. And a great area with lots to see and do. Would definitely come back.

Four generations of my family were more than comfortable for a week at the Gatehouse at Golden HIll. Our group ranged in ages from 18 months to 88 years. The space worked perfectly and the location is central to everything. Teva, our house could not have been more attentive. He responded to any need that arose. There is a hiking trail directly across the street and the yard is huge and very private. This the perfect property for a family getaway.

Beautiful house and location, plus all the amenities you would hope for. Space feels like home with a perfect layout that made it very relaxing. We were a group of 8 and had a wonderful time here. The town of Lee is really cute and also close to other quaint towns like Great Barrington, Lenox, and Stockbridge. The owner, Teva, was a wonderful and gracious host who wants to make sure you have a good stay and was very responsive to any questions we had. Would stay here again! Thank you for a great vacation!

Everything we wanted from a week-long getaway from NYC. It all starts with a super-host (Teva), who was very attentive and responsive during our stay. When the grill did not work, he replaced it the next day with a brand new one. The location was convenient to many towns in the Berkshires (Lenox, Great Barrington, Stockbridge), attractions, and hiking (there's even a trailhead directly across the street). We spent a lot of time enjoying the backyard - house comes with badminton/volleyball net and equipment and fire pit. Lots of spaces in the house to relax.

We had a lovely stay at this charming and spacious house. The house had lots of room for everyone to spread out, but still felt cozy. Teva, the owner, was particularly helpful and super responsive. Excellent experience!

Our multigenerational family had a picture perfect experience during our stay at this welcoming, warm and spotless home. The location on a quiet country road across from a woods with hiking made our getaway tranquil while being accessible to groceries, apple picking and an easy drive to MOCA. We loved the sunroom, found the living room a wonderful gathering space and enjoyed the kitchen. Having the master suite on the first floor was perfect for the grandparents with the more rambunctious family members claiming the second floor. This wonderful home is exactly as pictured and we are already planning a return visit this winter! Our thanks to Teva who was a perfect and very helpful host throughout, beginning with her thoughtful welcome of chilled Prosecco, cider, cheese, etc waiting for our arrival, and support after we left and realized we’d left something behind. From start to finish, our stay was just what the doctor ordered during this pandemic.
