Nice location, comfortable home with some nice updates

Great location. Very well equipped. Comfortable beds with an abundance of pillows. Oversized leather couches with lots of pillows. Could use better lighting in living room. Weak internet resulted in very slow loading of movies. However several dvds and books were provided. Recommend and would stay there again.

This is our second time renting this house. It is in a great location convenient to town. The house has an enclosed backyard for the dogs. Because we were here in January when we had the storms, we walked the dogs in downtown Carmel where there are sidewalks and they really enjoyed it. Would rent this house again.

This home is easily accessible and comfortable. The owner is very communicative, yet not intrusive. Given the beautifully treed neighborhood, bad weather can bring down trees and cause power outages. If that worries you, perhaps you'd be wise to plan something further from the coast and with lower vegetation.

We chose this VRBO listing because of its location in Carmel at a reasonable price. Three of us stayed here and found it quite suitable for our purposes. The description was accurate and is quite comfortable.

Very comfortable home with a great layout. It is a short walk to town which we loved to take as there is a little pathway through the trees. A storm came through while we were there and the house stayed warm and cozy. The owner is very responsive as well.

This home was very comfortable and we included all the amenities we could ask for. It is located in an extremely quiet and charming neighborhood with quick access to all the restaurants, shops and galleries Carmel has to offer. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen is updated and was well stocked in case we wanted to prepare a full meal. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we would rebook here in the future given the opportunity.

We were over the moon about staying here. 4 minute drive to downtown or the beach or the 17 mile drive or the beginning of the drive to Big Sur. The house was so beautifully decorated,quiet, comfortable and superclean which made it enjoyable to eat at home alot! So much to do in this area and every adventure breathtaking. Be sure to do Pffiefer Beach, Pt. Lobos . The only trip out of the area was Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. So serene and beautiful. We walked around Carmel wuite a bit and loved all the quaint buildings shops and alleyways. LaByclette has the best wood fired pizza and Carmel Bakery is so good and they sell ice cream by the scoop. The art galleries were amazing as well. Hopefully we will be back someday.

We loved our stay in this well-located home. It is so close to downtown Carmel and you can easily walk or drive. Two bedrooms were perfect for our family of 3 and the living area and kitchen were comfortable and spacious. The beds were super comfortable and we all slept amazingly well during our stay. The house was clean and well-maintained and Susan was easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay again. The walkability was pretty good although part of the walk into downtown Carmel is on a fairly busy street with not much sidewalk, so might not be the best with small kids or mobility issues but it was not a problem for us. Like I said, would love to stay again sometime.

The house is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. There is a fenced in side yard which was perfect for our 2 small dogs. Everything (tv, internet, heater, etc.) worked fine during our stay. We walked our dogs daily down Santa Fe to 2nd Ave and then back to Santa Rita. It's an easy drive to Ocean Ave where you can park or, like we usually do, drive to 8th and Mission where there is a parking lot. Recommend dinner at Dametra, breakfast at Katy's Place and had lunch at Portabella, Treehouse Cafe and Toro Sushi. Easy access via Carpenter to Highway 1 and 68 to Pacific Grove. Recommend going down to Ocean View Blvd in PG where you can walk from Cannery Row to Lover's Point and beyond , literally for miles. It was great for the dogs. Would definitely rent this house again.

The house was great. It was easy to find and the instructions were clear. We appreciated not having to buy paper towels, garbage bags etc. we also like the abundance of towels. We are a walking family and found the walk into town and along the beach most enjoyable.

I cannot share in words enough what a great hostess Susan was and how wonderfully clean and accurate in the description it was. The home was exceptionally outfitted with everything one could need during their stay in Carmel area. We had a wonderful time staying here. Very comfortable and the neighborhood is perfect for walking to downtown or just around. Very quiet. We were thrilled to be able to bring our dogs with us and they were very popular in Carmel. Kitchen was good for cooking meals, backyard was good. We would be happy to return!
