As this was our first stay of this kind, we were a little confused about the check-in process. Overall, we were pleased. We were disappointed that the washer didn’t work. But, the manager made up for it by allowing us to the use the washer and dryer in the unit below us after the other party had checked out. The manager was super kind.

House is old but functional and comfortable. Location is excellent, close to most attractions and easy to access. Parking is off street, convenient and secure. All in all, a good place to stay.

This property did not meet what the listing promised. The owner asked me if it was acceptable that we were staying in the second floor unit, and then charged my credit card before I could tell them no. ALL of the dishes were dirty and had to be washed, and the entire place was filthy. My mom’s white socks were black on the bottom from 30 minutes of walking around. If I owned this house I’d be embarrassed to charge people money to stay in it before I renovated the house. Luckily I know how to disassemble a deadbolt; we had some stuff on the porch, and had to lock the deadbolt to keep the door shut, but the deadbolt was broken and I had to disassemble it to open the door up again. The listing calls out a multicultural neighborhood, but it was downright intimidating. My wife told me that she was more comfortable in Chicago and East St. Louis than she was in this neighborhood. I’m willing to go back to Memphis but I can guarantee you that I won’t be staying at this property again.

This place was clean and a good place to stay for a visit to Memphis. It is a convenient location for Overton Park, Beale Street, Sun Records and UTHSC. Lots of good food to enjoy close by. The 3 bedrooms were nice for my family to spread out.

This property is a great option for a weekend jaunt to Memphis - a good access point for all you want to do in the City. Comfortable 3 bedrooms. Just a brief walk to Cozy Cafe!

Nice place on a fairly quiet street near downtown. House was old but you could tell it was recently updated. Kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans, and even had basic things like salt and pepper, and some spices. Beds were comfortable and clean.

This was our second year staying here for Memphis in May BBQ. The apartment worked wonderfully and Rene was a gracious host. We plan to retu4n next year.

Renee did a great job with instructions and making sure we had everything for our stay. The rental is the second story of duplex home. A good, functional place to stay with easy access to downtown and other sites.

I enjoyed my stay. The amenities and complimentary extras were very impressive. The property was clean and up to date. I would definitely recommend it for a family stay.

very comfortable place to stay, area was good and close to Beal street we took lyft $6.20. Easy drive to all stores, restaurants and attractions, we loved Graceland. Tina greeted us with much info of the area a bottle of wine :-) and a case of water. we were only there for a weekend so basically just slept there. spent the day touring and nights at Beal street which is a must see. Thanks again for a great place to stay while in Memphis.

This was our first experience with renting a home and Renee made it a great one! She made us feel at home. She made sure we had everything we needed, and even added a special touch - thank you, Renee, for the wine! There was plenty of space for our family of 7. It was very easy to get to all the sights from her house. Civil Rights Museum, Memphis Zoo, Sun Studio, Beale St., Graceland, and all the awesome restaurants are just minutes from the house. We loved Memphis and we would definitely come back and stay here again!

The house is centrally located for a visitor to this fun city. Easy access to Beale Street and tourist sites. Renee is a wonderfully thoughtful host. Her home is cozy and well stocked. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

This is the first time we've ever rented a private home for vacation, always staying in hotels. But in this case two of our sons were running in the Saint Jude Marathon and there were a lot of us making the trip which made hotels very expensive. We decided to give this a try and we weren't disappointed. We could have even slept a few more. The home is clean and well-appointed. We had everything we needed to be comfortable. There was plenty of room for our entire family. We even celebrated Christmas with our out-of-town family. Miss Renee was very accommodating, meeting us on our arrival and answering all our questions. The home's location was perfect for our needs, close to downtown, and even on the route of the marathon. We were able to watch the runners go by from the front balcony. If we return to Memphis next year we will be sure to reserve this property.

Renee is wonderful to work with! The place is well stocked, she's thought of everything you could need. It's close to all the sights, comfortably furnished and spacious. We've been renting vacation places from VRBO (Home Away) for about 10 years and this place has made our top favorite places list. We will definitely stay again!

We had a very good time. The house was everything we needed. It was close to all the atractions Memphis has to offer. It is an old house, which for us added to it's charm. And it was very clean. We really enjoyed it!

We chose Memphis to meet our children and grandchildren for a long weekend. Renee was very gracious and did her best to make sure our stay was all we wanted. The home is very well stocked, price was a bargain, beds were comfortable, and location was perfect. We visited the Civil Rights Museum, enjoyed some delicious ribs, and were most entertained on our walk down Beale Street. Thank you Renee.
