It was great to listen to the waves at night, to watch the waves & surfers throughout the day. Great place to gather with large family.

We wanted to rent an ocean view property and we loved that we could hear ocean waves all the time from any room, the house was gorgeous to live in, but we really also rented this property over a few other options as it also had hot tub. The only thing that put us off was hot tub was reallly old and only had lukewarm water..never hot. The owner was kind enough to send the maintenance guy over while we were there, but that didnt help. we wish we knew of this issue before hand, we would have defi chosen another property from our options. but other than that, we had a wonderful stay and the house was very well taken care of.

We booked for a long weekend to host a family reunion, and right off the bat host was non-wavering in early/late checkout (but at this point at least they were getting back to us). When we arrived, we found that there were no Sonos speakers as listed under amenities, and texted right away, only to receive a response over 24 hours later. They apologized as they were being fixed, funny, maybe you should have “fixed”your listing too. In exploring more, our children found cigarette butts littered in the back yard and beer cans left in the bin of kids toys. And later that evening we discovered that the hot tub leaked (a lot). The pool guy confirmed the next day when he can by for monthly service that it had been this way for awhile and asked if we wouldn’t mind filling back up after every use. Finally, word to the wise that the listing was very accurate in that there is only parking for two cars and all other vehicles (even visitors) will need to find street parking. What it doesn’t tell you is that the street parking starts two blocks away. Amazing views, walking distance to beach (no beach access from house), in a great part of town that unfortunately is not well kept and maintained by any sort of host whatsoever!

Our family had a wonderful stay! The place has everything we needed and was perfect for a family beach vacation! The close access to the beach was perfect for the kids! The host was so kind and responsive! Thank you for a wonderful trip!

This house was the perfect size for 8 of us. We had two birthday celebrations. One thing I didn’t care for is to go to the backyard you have to walk through our bedroom. The kids loved the high bed they slept in. We had perfect weather and the beach was easy to get to and it was beautiful.

The location is amazing, but the property itself is dated and needs an upgrade. Overall I recommend this location for a weekend surf or beach getaway. The host made the check in and check out easy.

We had an amazing stay. Tons to do at this location. The beach was wonderful, Boardwalk fun, mystery spot adventure, diners out, and the best fishing around. We went out kayak fishing 3 days and caught trophy fish each time. 43 inch halibut, ling cod, vermillian and much more. We had an awesome time. We would do it again!

Our whole family of three generations loved this place. Great beach location. Comfortable beds. Well appointed kitchen. Couldn’t ask for more.

A wonderful week of cloudless skies and beautiful sunsets. Plenty of sea life on the rocks at low tide. Bike path all the way to Capitola Village to the south and Natural Bridges to the north. Best part is just sitting on the deck and going no where.

My only critic was they advertise hot tub, but it's only a 2 person tub when we thought it was 4 persons. Other than that, it was an amazing property and our family had a great time celebrating my husband's milestone birthday.

We had an amazing stay - the beds were comfortable. The view from the main room is gorgeous and relaxing. The property manager was prompt on the responses too. Looking forward to another visit.

Great access to the beach, beautiful view, quiet area, clean house, new windows, well set up kitchen. We didn't use the outside dining options because it was too cold while we visited but they seemed nice. Needs new dishwasher and garbage disposal, hot tub wasn't clean, there was no firepit (which was in the advertisement.) I wish the sheets and towels weren't scented. A better dining table would be nice, the glass top isn't attached and is dangerous for children.

The property is a bit dated, the kitchen exhaust fan is ducted into the main living quarters and making difficult to cook with all the smoke alarms going off. Also the BBQ is a joke, I would think at this price point and location they would invest in a gas BBQ. And last there is a glass see through door on the master bedroom looking straight at the restroom. As far as location its a 10.

Having kids it would have been nice to not have so many cords hanging all around or on the floor. Overall experience was great. Absolutely loved the showers!

I rented this home to celebrate my husband‘s 70th birthday with kids and grandkids. There was plenty of room for three couples but the fourth bedroom that is actually connected to one of the rooms is more of a queen bed in a cozy cubby. That “room” was perfect for a child or 2, but would not be recommended for an older couple because you need to climb a little ladder to get into the bed. The kitchen was very well stocked, The beach is just a short walk and there is a nice private roadway in front of the home that allowed the children to ride their bikes and scooters without worrying about traffic. The backyard really is just a dirt patch but not very necessary with the beach so accessible. The hot tub is smaller, but perfect for warming up after going to the beach. There is also an outdoor shower with warm water to rinse off sand or chlorine from the hot tub. There were many pros with this rental but I will address the cons so that renters are aware; Limited parking, smaller deck with view of beach (perfect for 4), not much dining area but okay if you have a group that doesn’t mind eating on t.v. trays, coffee table, lap etc. sunken tub and lots of stairs that can be a danger for toddlers and older renters. Rental states fires on the beach are okay but there is a sign at beach entrance that forbids it. All that being said, we would ABSOLUTELY rent this home again and my husband had a wonderful birthday celebration!
