Fantastic location and super spacious house. Everything was exactly as described.

This is a fantastic house located one down from the beach. It worked out great for our family with adult-age children. The young people used the downstairs area while the oldsters enjoyed the master bedroom and fireplace on the second floor. The hot tub was a minor disappointment. It's old and doesn't get past bath water temperature. The house was clean, but a few walls, door handles, and light switches could be wiped down. Overall, it was a great stay in a Pierpont charmer and we would book again without hesitation.

The house was in a great location. It is just a few steps away from the beach. The house was very clean, plenty of towels and blankets, and the kitchen was stocked with all the things you would need in a kitchen. Michelle was really nice and easy to communicate with and she welcomed us a day ahead of our check-in date to make sure we knew how to get into the house and asked if we had any questions ahead of time. This was a great family getaway and we would stay here again in the future.

My family stayed here for a week in Aug and chose this as we wanted to be coastal (comfortable temps even in July/Aug - without AC needed) and have a place large enough that our family and friends (spread out in Los Angeles) could come to us to visit. This fit the bill perfectly and we can't wait to repeat next summer.
Pros:
-PLENTY of everything - beach towels, linens, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry and dishwasher detergent, even loofahs and shampoo/conditioner provided. So many AirBnB's/Vrbo's expect you to get your own dish sponges and supplies these days. This was NOT the case and it was so welcoming and comfortable.
-Kitchen is well stocked with more than the necessary gadgets for cooking and entertaining.
-Large enough to host indoors and/or on the back patio complete with hot tub which was more fun for the kids than the waves on foggy days.
-Ocean breezes, views, and sounds from nearly every room.
-Plenty of parking for us and visitors (this is HUGE)
-Quiet beach just steps away. Easy to set up the provided beach chairs and visit them all day long while popping home for snacks/meals/naps as needed.
-Lots to do and eat in the area. 1 hr to Los Angeles, less than 1 hr to Santa Barbara as well.
-Grocery 1 block away
-Michelle the host was super communicative, explained everything about the house, and was available to answer questions as needed - but gave us our space and encouraged us to make ourselves at home.
Cons:
We had to leave eventually.

Excellent area walking distance to a bunch of restaurants and stores. Steps from the beach with great views. The house was really spread out with a perfect layout that is good for couples or families. Only a short drive to harbor or downtown makes it easy to enjoy Ventura. For the surfers out there there’s a bunch of spots all over either north or south. Michelle was a great host ! Very informative, helpful, and just a nice person. Thank you for the great time!

My family had a WONDERFUL Thanks Giving Holiday together in this beautiful home! We all live in different areas so this gathering place was perfect! The beach and ocean, along with the whale and dolphin sightings were the icing on the cake.

This home is in a great location with lots of room for a group with 2 separate communal living spaces, lots of books & games and lovely artwork. Kitchen was very well stocked...best I've seen after renting many places. The manager Michelle was fantastic, very responsive and brought us anything we needed. The only downside to the home was the windows. Several of the cranks used to open them were rusted so they could not be opened at all and a few had no screens. Without air conditioning, this was a problem during 2 nights when the air was very still and humid. The ceiling fans helped but it was not enough. I rated this a 4 star because of the window issue only, otherwise everything else was great.

We had a lovely and relaxing time. Excellent for family of 4! Proximity to beach is unbelievable. Home found clean with plenty of towels and blankets. Property manager excellent! Just a few comments for owners: Home needs maintenance. Not all windows open because rusted shut. Cabinets are old and grimy in places. Kitchen window blind cords are really dirty. Plants outside are dead and dried out. Patio is in need of upgrade and maintenance but still usable. Rooftop lounge chairs loaded with dog hair from previous guests.

We were so fortunate to spend a month in this great house at the ideal location. Michelle Clark the property manager was so kind and helpful. Our first day she brought over a new keurig and set it up for us. She was available for anything we needed, which actually wasn’t much because everything is so well maintained and we were literally steps from the beach - so what else did we need? The house was roomy, comfortable and easily accommodated guests. We highly recommend this home for a beach vacation of any length.

The landlord was very nice and the location of the house is fantastic! Basically right on the beach. It so great because you don't have to pack everything to go to the beach you can just go casually a couple times a day and then use the outside shower at the house to get the sand off whenever you want to take a break :)

The home is comfortable and had everything we needed. This was the first time using vrbo. The house was just what we were looking for. It was clean and very comfortable. The management company (Michelle) was great. She got back to me right when I had any questions.

The location can't be beat - on Pierpont Beach in Ventura, a beautiful, quiet, and clean beach with a large expanse of soft sand. The house is in a residential neighborhood with great views of the beach. The architecture is stunning, and bedrooms and bathrooms in 2 levels maximize privacy. The house was spotless and well stocked, with eclectic artwork all over and many different types of books. It was a beautiful and comfortable family getaway away from crowds and hustle/bustle. We will definitely be back.

Everything about this property exceeded our expectations. We spent 4 nights at the property and would love to come back. The location, layout, amenities, and communication with Michelle were all outstanding. Thank you for providing a property that we will always remember!

Our family gathered at this lovely home for a birthday celebration. It had a great layout and sleeping arrangements for our 6 adults. Having access to the spacious 2 car garage was especially nice. The neighbor to the west has a passive aggressive sign in the window facing this home that is hostile toward vacation renters. Sitting on the main deck off of the kitchen provided a wonderful view of the ocean and beach but also faced this sign directly. I feel like Michelle screens her renters carefully so I’m dubious about the neighbor having issues with her renters. Because there was no one schedule to arrive on our departure date, Michelle generously allowed us to stay beyond the traditional check out time which we greatly appreciated.

What a lovely cottage by the sea! It was cozy, comfortable, and lacked none of the amenities. Don't miss the garden courtyard.

This was a wonderful place to stay and celebrate my granddaughters sixteen birthday. Clean, great location and looked like the photos (which doesn’t happen all the time). Plenty of room, great kitchen, jacuzzi, enjoyed BBQ, and nothing was more enjoyable than watch the sunset from the beach or the third floor patio area. Michelle was the best!!!! She made the plans easy and was always concerned we were enjoying our stay. Love that gal! I would go back in a heart beat…didn’t want to leave.

The Pierpont house was just as advertised with gorgeous views of the ocean and an incredible eclectic art and book collection. The area was experiencing heavy rain during our visit which led to a few roof leaks. The property manager was very responsive and resolved the issue to our satisfaction. We plan to return to this lovely property whenever we get the chance.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends at this well stocked and spacious home that includes incredible views of the ocean. Michelle was very helpful and made sure we were well taken care of. Highly recommend this lovely property!

My family of 5 and our dogs absolutely loved the Ventura beach house. The sun deck on the 3rd floor was perfect for sunsets and meditation. The house was stocked with everything we needed from beach towels to paper goods. We had a fantastic time and only wish we could stay longer. Michelle was very responsive and helped us with any questions and anything we needed. Would love to come back and stay again in the future.

Beautiful house, great location, comfy beds and very well-stocked kitchen. Michelle, the property manager, was incredibly helpful and did an exceptional job with all communications. The only downside was the inadequate level of cleaning upon arrival. However, Michelle, offered to have it immediately re-cleaned. Regardless, we are hoping to return next year!

We feel so rejuvenated! The property is exactly as presented. We are a couple of surfers who were looking for a place to base ourselves to branch out to all the amazing breaks Ventura has to offer. This house is right in the middle of all of it. 10-15 minutes to world class breaks like C street, Mondos and maybe 20 minutes to Rincon. The house itself is cozy and well appointed. You can hear the ocean at all times and from the kitchen, dining, living room you can see the crashing waves. Imagine being able to see the ocean 100 feet from you, window open, while you do dishes. Splendid! The rooftop boasts amazing sunsets. There are TV's in every room. The fireplace is romantic. It's a short walk to some fun restaurants. Spazzo's Italian was romantic and delicious with homemade pastas and totally walkable from the house. There is a place called Social Tap? I think... that is really fun too. We came during July 04 and the house was still nice and cool with breezes coming through all doors and windows. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back. The cherry on top is the host, Michelle. She is lovely and responsive. Book here! You won't regret.
