This was a perfect property for our family group of eight. Proximity to the beach was wonderful & overall walkability was good. It was quiet; there was a nice selection of toys for kids, and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. We would recommend towel bars and/or hooks in the bathrooms. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

We enjoyed the quite neighborhood and less than a 2 minutes walk to the beach. We informed the manager on the first day that there was no shower gel at all in the property. Although we only stayed for 2 nights, we expected someone would send some to us but nobody did that. So the whole family, 8 of us used shampoo for taking shower.

Wonderful location just a stone's throw from the beach. A local market, restaurants and brew pubs are all within a few blocks. We never even got into our cars for the first couple of days we were there, which was really nice because we had driven quite a ways to get there. The Pier and the Marina Park are also within walking distance, although a little longer. The property is conveniently located about halfway between the two. The interior was well laid out and had wonderful natural light from the skylights. The kitchen/dining area was very comfortable and the sun porch was a really nice addition. The bedrooms and bathrooms were nicely laid out and very comfortable for our group of eight. Parking is very tight in this area, so it was nice to have access to the garage, which by the way had a nice assortment of beach toys, chairs, etc. The outside hose was well-placed for rinsing the sand off after returning from the beach. The hosts were very responsive when we had some issues with a finicky garage door keypad. Gary was able to give us some pointers on "techinique", we had no problems after that. All in all no complaints and would absolutely rent this property again.

Great remodeled place with lots of living space. Family enjoyed the views and the deck for barbecuing . Dishwasher and tray under the sink need attending to and the garage keypad battery went dead and even with a new battery, the code wouldn't work. We located the remote so we were able to get the car out. House was a wonderful gathering spot for our family reunion!

This beach house is absolutely beautiful with all the amenities. Everything was just perfect… The kitchen was huge. It was full of every appliance you could ask for… The upstairs living room, dining room and kitchen was surrounded by beautiful windows that opened up to allow the sea breeze in and the view was spectacular. The outside wraparound porch was super, relaxing…the bedrooms were wonderful and comfortable with fans and TV’s in every bedroom was great! To be able to have access to the two car garage to store your car, bicycles, surf boards and wagons, was an extra added bonus! Thank you Kevin for sharing your beautiful home with my family…we will definitely be back again!

We really enjoyed our time at Kevin's property. Comfortable bedrooms and the living area on the top floor is a perfect place for a group of people to hang out and enjoy each others company. The surrounding area has much to offer. We will be back.

We had a few family members staying in the house while attending a wedding. The place was very clean, exceptionally well equipped, spacious and in a great location. Very happy with our stay.

The spot was clean, comfortable, and convenient to the beach and downtown Ventura. Would highly recommend for groups of 2-3 couples visiting the area.

The house was beautiful and just a short walk down to the beach. We didn't do any cooking while there but the kitchen is huge and well appointed.

With views of the ocean, Channel Islands and mountains and a two minute walk to the best beach and sunsets in CA (uncrowded, you can walk for ever...), great biking, hiking and dining opportunities. A sheltered porch protects you from wind, rain and sun while still seeing the views, Walk to everything. Our second time at this rental (third time on this street), we will be back!

This is a beautiful beach home with a great location. The host was wonderful to work with. Definitely a 5 star experience!

OMG, this place is fantastic. The top floor living area/kitchen is enormous with windows everywhere - but you are the highest around so it's pretty private. The big 2 sided wrap around deck covers you from sun and has huge windows that open (so protect you from any ferocious winds that happen to occur...) and the most amazing sunset and sunrise views of mountains and ocean. Beds are lower levels but still a flight up. We adore Bangor St. Sunsets on the beach every night as it's right there, ten or so houses down. Very comfortable. Walking distance to pier, Von's, restaurants and everything you need. We will be back and for much longer - once you are there you don't want to bother leaving the property except by foot or biking on the paths that lead everywhere. What a relaxing stay!

This home was perfect for our large group for a wedding weekend in Ojai. The house itself had absolutely everything we needed and plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. Kevin was very responsive from the moment I booked the house right up until we checked in. We had absolutley no problems, so there was no need to contact him during our stay. The pictures really don't show the true beauty and size of the home, so expect to be wow'd when you arrive! It's VERY close to the beach and the area has plenty of eateries and the pier is close by. It was also a short 25 minute Uber ride over to Ojai. I would definitely recommend this home and plan to come visit again....for a girl's weekend getaway, next time!

We had a wonderful time in Ventura. The house was perfect for our family. The house had everything we needed and more. It was very easy to get into contact with our host. We will return to this house.

The place was wonderful. Very clean and all updated. We have 4 teenagers and we had lots of space for everyone. Short walk to the beach which was very easy. Very nice to have beach chairs and boogie boards available for use too.

This house was perfect for us: very spacious, comfortable beds, and short walk to the beach. While the photos are accurate, they don't do justice to the size of the house, which was much larger than I expected. I didn't realize when I booked the house that the bedrooms are are the 2nd floor and living room and kitchen we on the 3rd floor, so lots of stairs!

This house was amazing and comfortable! Close to everything and the beach was wonderful! The only down side was we had an toddler and the pack and play we found was moldy and full of sand. The mast bed sits up pretty hight so I was scared he was going to roll off the bed all night. I did contact the manager and he did get back to me quick however he did not have a replacement pac and play for us to use. Over all the house was great and well stocked!

The king bed was the best of any VRBO I've ever had. However there were personal possessions of the owners everywhere which took up all the closet space in two of the bedrooms. I was sort of like house sitting and my daughters had nowhere to store their clothes in one bedroom because the closet was full of Christmas decorations, etc. It was nicely accessible to the beach as advertised. The rooms had lots of freeway noise when windows were open but they were good sized bedrooms. It would have been nice to have a chest of drawers in the giant master bedroom. The couch upstairs was great. There was no ice machine in the fridge, but there were bags of ice and ice trays available. The location was close to Von's and gas stations. The neighbors in the area were friendly. Overall, for the price it was hit and miss. Also if you are traveling with someone who has mobility issues, there are lots of stairs up to the front door and in the place.

Instructions on how to access the condo were prefect. We got in and we were blown away how big this place was. It was so clean, cute, and updated. Giant kitchen, great living room. The bedrooms were huge. Master bedroom had a working fireplace and so did the living room. So close to the beach. I watched the sunset every night. My family and I would love to stay again here.
