Nice and quiet

Such a great location for our family to celebrate our50th anniversary. Wonderful cabin, well supplied, comfortable beds and beautiful lake. Thank you for a memorable time together!

We stayed with 6 friends. The architecture of the home was beautiful with thoughtful attention to details and items needed for an amazing 5 days.

This is the second consecutive year we stayed here and it was just as great the 2nd time around!

We used this property as part of our family reunion. We had 3 families with 12 people stay at the house. They described it as clean, spacious and with many bathrooms. Very private and surrounded by tree with an easy walk-down to the lake. Well stocked kitchen and soundproof bedroom doors. The user's manual was very helpful. A wonderful place to stay. The directions to the house were good, but Google Maps takes you to the dock rather than the house as you would expect.

Brought my family down for a late Thanksgiving get together. This beautiful house is large and open. The whole family was able to hang out together in the kitchen while we cooked and the weather was nice enough that we were able to hike around the property and hang out on the deck. The firepit was great for sitting around having cocktails and catching up on everything since the last time we all got together. This may have just become a new family tradition.

We really enjoyed our stay in this house. It was clean, well stocked, and in the perfect, secluded location. There was plenty of room for everyone, and the kids loved the beds in the little cubby areas. Would definitely return.

We really enjoyed our visit. Four brothers and sisters and spouses had a great getaway…one couple from Minnesota and three couples from Texas.

Everything you need to have an AMAZING GetAway!

We enjoyed a week long getaway with my husband's siblings and spouses. This was a first time event for us as senior adults. Shared many hours reliving memories on the wonderful back deck and cooking meals together in the spacious kitchen. Visited Branson and Eureka Springs for day trips. Overall wonderful experience.

The pics don't do it justice, this place is very nice and clean, great for a large family, we enjoyed our time here very much. A little hard to find with GPS, maybe add some directions to listing. Also, the locals are very helpful and friendly

I had my oldest son and grandsons with me for a boys only getaway. Glad the property owner gave us directions on paper because the GPS had us go a different way and we were going to be lost at 10pm. Be sure to not miss the blue trash containers since that is your reference point. Boys loved jumping/swimming off the boat dock. Temperatures were in the high 90's at night which allowed the boys to have entertainment downstairs with pool table and other games. Awesome getaway if your looking for a place that is definitely out in the woods, plenty of hiking around the property, grilling and having a crawfish boil outside, and if it was cool enough you could even have a fire by the fire pit. Plenty of pots and pans along with dishes. Felt like being at home. Thank you. Property owner answered my texts right away with questions I had about the property. He was great to work with.

My family of 10 (8 adults, 2 kids) met at this property for a week-long vacation. We loved that each family unit had enough space in the bedrooms and our own private bathrooms. The property can be a little tricky to find but easy enough if you follow the directions provided by the host. Once you arrive at the property you will not be disappointed. The house is amazing and the property is quietly surrounded by nature. We loved sitting out of the back porch with view of the lake and many critters (doe and fawn, many birds, butterflies and squirrels). We did encounter a snake one afternoon in front of the house and my young son was delighted to see some sort of lizard. The swimming dock was a little challenging to access but the host was very quick with responses to my questions. We ended up putting on some water shoes and just letting my two kids play in the shallow water at the bottom of the hill from the property. If you're looking for a house in the Shell Knob area, I highly recommend this one.

First off Dennis is a wonderful host , very easy to communicate to . The cabin is breathtaking. We never left the cabin. The kitchen is a dream to cook in. I personally loved the claw foot tub, and my kids loved the stuff animal bear that over looks the living room. My other half enjoyed himself fishing and walking the property.

The cabin was beautiful. Plenty of room for 8. We rented a boat from Big M Marina and had a fantastic time on the lake. Loved the seclusion. Saw some deer. Enjoyed the fire pit and making s’mores. Would definitely come back again.

The house itself is just gorgeous with a beautiful log cabin vibe (very large log cabin). The view of the lake and the space of the property around the lake was just perfect. Watching the deer roam through in the early morning and evening was an unexpected treat. I only wish we could have stayed longer. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

My Wife and I, with my kids and Parents, enjoyed this amazing property for several days. We saw wildlife every day and had a beautiful view of the lake and stars overhead at night. Very secluded. My only suggestion to future guests is to pay CLOSE attention to the directions provided by the owner, to their private drive. Google maps guides you off track at the end. Overall amazing experience!

We just finished our fifth family Thanksgiving at the cabin. It is such a beautiful location and just perfect for our family. The fire pit and recent bedding upgrades were great additions!

This was our 2nd annual girlfriends Fall Get Away Weekend in this location. It is perfect for our group and we plan in a 3rd Annual! Beautiful setting. We really love the new fire pit! Communication with owner is so prompt and responsive.

Owners very accommodating. Check in was very smooth.
