Great condo in the perfect location. Easy walk to the beach and main street while being tucked away from the crowds and noise. We loved sitting on the screened porch and watching the boats in the intercostal waterway.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is a short walk to breakfast and dinner and nightlife. The bedrooms (there are 3) are all very separated from each other, which is nice. The pictures say it all... water views, bikes, beach chairs. What's not to like? Thank you owners!

This was our third stay in Folly Beach but our first at this property. We chose it for the peaceful location on the marsh and proximity to town. The house was perfect for our family. We loved looking out on the water. Even spotted some dolphins one morning. Walked to restaurants and shops everyday. Home was clean, beds were comfortable and owners were very responsive.

Perfect location in a quiet neighborhood. Beautiful views of waterway and sunsets. Well stocked house was perfect for what we needed. We weren't there a lot and wished we had time to do beach, pool and relaxing things but that wasn't possible on this trip. We walked to the Lost Dog Cafe for breakfast and Taco Boy for dinner one night in Folly Beach. We'd go to both again, they were excellent. I will say that if we had brought the truck instead of the car, things would have been more difficult. There is space to park two cars in the garage end to end but that is a super tight fit. We had a crosstrek and I can tell you there is no kind of way a larger vehicle like a truck or full sized SUV could fit in the garage as the width and height of the garage door wouldn't allow it. You can get a pass and park near the entrance but during the times we were coming and going, those spots were already filled. That is really the only downside and we enjoyed the visit, the house, the location and the whole trip.

Sun rises on balcony were nice. 3 full baths. It was a short drive to Charleston.

This townhome was beautiful! Nicely decorated, very welcoming, kitchen supplied nicely and beautiful views of the marsh! The pool was nice and the walk to the ocean was easy! The walk to town was also easy and plenty of good restaurants to try out! Can't wait to come back!

The VRBO is perfectly located with property and amenities just as described.💖 The three of us friends are in our 60s and very healthy. We loved walking to/from and around Folly Beach (from the VRBO) but be prepared for a flight of stairs from the VRBO garage to the first floor and a second flight of stairs to the top level. With our first visit to SC we were unprepared for the hordes of mosquitoes. The VRBO is screened and we had NO problems there but Charleston sightseeing (e.g., Mongolia Plantation) requires repellent!

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay! It was a great location as we could walk to the beach and town easy. The best part was the view from both decks! We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect property in a great location!

This place is a gem! This is the second time we have stayed here. Location is perfect you can walk to the beach and downtown. The townhome is clean and comes with everything you need to enjoy your stay in Folly including beach gear. Fully stocked kitchen with some empty cupboards which I love so that food can actually be put away. Bedding is nice/clean which is important to me. AC worked well. We did have two hiccups and the host promptly addressed them to our complete satisfaction (neither hiccup was the host's fault). Great communication. We were a family of five - 3 teens and we were very comfortable.

This trip was a combination family beach vacation and a way for my husband to get back to Charleston, his favorite city. Ages ranged from 7 to 60, and we had 9 people. The sleeping situation was perfect, the double bed at the bottom of the one bunk bed worked perfect for the 2 youngest to share. It was a very quick walk to the beach, and only 20 minutes into the historic district of Charleston. We will definitely consider staying here again!

This was a great place to stay, especially with kids. They loved the pool and dock. Great location as everything was within walking distance. They had plenty of beach/pool toys and equipment which was extremely convenient and thoughtful!

Southern Tides was a great vacation home for our family when visiting Folly Beach for our daughter's wedding. The house was a "home away from home". The house had plenty of room for the family! Great views, awesome pool, and an amazing dock. Great location to restaurants, shops, beach and golf cart rentals. The beach items are such a great amenity, especially when traveling by plane. Highly recommend this home for your next Folly vacation.

My two daughters, mom, and I really enjoyed our stay. We’ve stayed in several vacation homes and this was the cleanest. The only exception was the refrigerator in the garage. We also liked the location and walkability. Would definitely recommend if you don’t mind staying off the ocean a bit.

Great property for family vacation! Was just as seen in pictures. Property owner was very quick to respond to the few issues we had (all small). We loved that there were bikes and chairs for us to use. I would recommend renting a golf cart since parking can be difficult. However, we were close enough to walk since our kids are older. Would recommend and would stay again.

We loved everything about this place. Loved being able to bike the island, walk to restaurants and it was a pleasant walk to the beach. Owner was great with communication.

This property is in a fantastic location on the water and close to everything. The screened in deck was perfect for hanging out on while the littles napped upstairs. The availability of a pack n play on site was a great added bonus and the extra beach items and bikes in the garage would surely come in handy for stays in the summer. The replacement of all of the neighbors external stairs caused a little bit of extra noise and blocked us from leaving/returning a couple of times but we understand that that’s nothing the owners of this rental could control. We are looking forward to a return trip to Folly Beach and hope to stay at Southern Tides again.

Short walk to the beach, shops & great restaurants in Folly Beach. Pool was open in April with great views of the water! Drive to Charlston- 20 min & 30 min to Mt Pleasant.

We enjoyed our stay in this property. Had 5 teenagers with us and they enjoyed walking into town. The beach is a nice walk from the property and the views of the sound are very nice. Would definitely stay here again. The owner is very responsive which I very much appreciated. Highly recommend.

Lovely condo with beautiful view on inland waterway. Well stocked and owners were very attentive to all our needs. Short walk to Folly Pier, beach and many great restuarants and bars. 20 minute drive to downtown Charleston. Great place, we would definitely book again!

Southern Tides was the perfect place to meet my girlfriends for catch up time. We could not have asked for a better view or location to relax and enjoy our time together. No need to get your car out when you can walk to the restaurants and shops. Catherine had all the information you would need for the area. Hoping to make this a yearly trip.

Working with Catherine was very easy and she always responded to my text in a timely manner. All rules for house were sent months ahead of our stay. Very informative!! Will definitely stay again!!

Loved this property.

Covid got in the way of us getting together for three years! This caused us to be very particularly about where we wanted to go/stay and Charleston/Folly Beach fit the bill perfectly!! This unit is lovely with easy access to downtown Folly Beach with many restaurants and it was a short drive to downtown Charleston. The unit had everything in it needed for a wonderful time! Oh and the view from the screen porch was lovely!
