Church View is an extremely well equipped cottage right in the centre of Ambleside. It is perfect for 2 people. Plenty of storage space and a good sized living area for 2 people to be able to stretch out. The kitchen has everything needed - plenty of crockery to make using the dishwasher a practical proposition. The heating is very responsive making it very cosy. Parking is easy. There is a disc provided and the car park is very close by. I would recommend highly.

Church View is an excellent choice for staying in the heart of the Lake District. Situated in the centre of Ambleside, it’s so convenient for accessing shops, restaurants, pubs, buses etc. And the property itself is beautifully kitted out, with really good quality fixtures and fittings. A great kitchen and bathroom and comfortable bed and sofas.

We had a lovely stay at Church View. Ideal location for the town and also visiting the wider lakes.

Spacious living room with a lovely view of the fells beyond. The apartment was very well-equipped and extremely clean. In fact, it was the cleanest we have ever come across. The bathroom was also spacious with lots of storage space and a fabulous jacuzzi bath. Wifi was great the whole time. The windows were very difficult to open/ close and as a result, we had to leave them permanently closed. The only negative is the music from the pub opposite which went on until the early hours at the weekend. This wouldn't stop us booking Church View again as once the music ceased, we were able to get back to sleep but it could be a problem for light sleepers/those who require an early night.

Only downside was the noise from the pub opposite on Friday night.

Church view is situated perfectly in Ambleside! The cottage was clean,bright, cosy and had everything you needed. The only two downsides were of no fault of the apartment of the company ; on the weekend you heard all the drunk people falling out of Churchills (the pub across the road) and the people either living upstairs or renting were loud and you could hear every foot step, including them hoovering at 8:30am. Perfect little apartment otherwise!

Couldn't really fault this apartment, the only thing being the bed which was too soft for my liking, but that's a totally personal thing. Plenty of storage even in the bathroom (which you don't usually get), plenty of plug sockets and a dressing table with a mirror and a socket!! Yippee, you hardly get that. All in all a fab place and would definitely go again.

The flat was absolutely fine. I don't think it mentioned in the description that you get a parking permit so that was a pleasant surprise. Plenty roomy enough for 2 people. We didn't really use any of the amenities as it was just a base to sleep but that being said the pub across the road was incredibly noisy friday and saturday night. I think there was still a lot of noise around 2am which wasn't ideal. Might not have noticed it so much if the bedroom was at the back but as it's directly opposite it was disruptive. We tend to stay in Ambleside as it's so easy but not sure we'd stay in this flat again sadly. Nothing wrong with the flat but I think my other half was pretty tired by Sunday!
