The property is even more beautiful in real life than shown in the photographs. The rooms are all really sizeable. All bedrooms beautifully presented. The flat comprises two floors above a wonderful fossil shop and opposite the Lyme museum. There are sea views from the front windows. You really feel like you are experiencing a bit of history staying here. This is our 5th visit to Lyme and this was probably my favourite property which we'e stayed in. The location is superb - a flat walk to the beach and two restaurants. Truly wonderful.

There were a few minor points for which I let the owner know and once you ditch the car in a car park for the week you will forget about needing it! We used the space provided for the other car but ours was too large for the allocated space and we anticipated this before we booked. I have already recommended this property to friends and would like to stay again at some point in the future. My children were sad to leave Lyme Regis and want to go back already!

Fossilers Lodge is a really unusual property, in a prime location in Lyme Regis, with wood panelling. It appears well-maintained and the owner is communicative and helpful. Altogether recommended.

We would thoroughly recommend Fossiler's Lodge as a convenient, atmospheric, comfortable place to stay in Lyme Regis. The sea, the Cobb, pub, shops, cafes, the museum, lovely walks all very close. Fantastic vegan breakfast in the cafe opposite!

Fantastic, comfy, warm and cosy cottage. Wonderful location with an amazing sea view. Very quirky old property with a big open roaring fire, just what we needed in January, it was wonderful.
