Our family had the most memorable experience, staying at Upper Seabright, while celebrating my son's graduation from UCSC. It was a perfect house for the whole group, the beds were so soft, the kitchen had everything we needed, the porch was an epic venue for a celebratory dinner/BBQ. We could not have asked for more. I'm only disappointed that we found this perfect VRBO on the last day of my son's UCSC experience. I would have booked it every year. Thank you.

We had a great vacation and couldn't have been happier with the home and location. Walking distance to the boardwalk and close to the beach. All the details of the decor and design were outstanding. And loved the great kitchen that opened up to the deck. This house was great for 2 families and we will definitely be coming back again soon!

The moment we entered the iron gates we were delighted at how stately yet welcoming the house was. Inside we were greeted by sunlit and generous rooms, only to be tempted by a well appointed chefs kitchen then lured away by a sprawling porch with views of sea, town and an amusement park in the distance. Our favorite discovery were the mid century designer pieces that created classic nooks throughout the living and bedrooms. The house provided grand style with all creature comforts.

It was sparkling clean when we arrived and the kitchen stocked well enough for us to make Thanksgiving dinner. We walked or drove to Seabright Beach every day - perfect. We hope to stay here again!

Came for a regatta in Santa Cruz and the house was perfect.

We stayed at Camille's beautiful home for a weekend with friends for a small celebration and I could not imagine a more magical place to stay! Every detail of the house is well thought out, the overall aesthetic is stunning, and the huge kitchen managed 8 very busy adults remarkably. Joanna, the property manager, was helpful and responsive throughout the weekend, but honestly, we were never in need of anything. We were also lucky to get perfect weather and really enjoyed the outdoor spaces on the deck and backyard. We're already considering an annual retreat since it was such a perfect stay.

Renting this property was lovely! The grounds are incredible. The home is huge, eclectic, and well updated. All the designer touches from the tile work to the wallpaper were so unique and beautiful. Camille was easy to work with and always quick to respond . Would love to visit again.

This is our second time staying here and it just keeps getting better every time. The whole family enjoyed it immensely. We all can’t wait for next year .

We have a wonderful time in Santa Cruz. This was my first time to town and I’ll be back. I loved the home it was beautiful and very handsomely appointed! Not sure about the walk ability to locations but nonetheless a great place. It was a little strange having the groundskeeper there the whole time. The kitchen was amazing and the deck was awesome!

Every year our family does a beach weekend get away. We choose the ocean view home this year . It was great. There was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was perfect. The two dishwashers worked out great . The location was perfect. We also enjoyed the outside fireplace. It was great for s’mores. The deck was gorgeous and a great place to hang out. We will be back it was great.

We picked this beautiful home for a getaway with our 3 grandchildren. The 2 grandsons loved the bunk beds . Our granddaughter was over joyed to have a room and bath to herself. She really enjoyed hearing the sounds of the Boardwalk from that rooms windows. The master bed and bath were wonderful, enjoyed the spacious shower. All of us enjoyed the beautiful kitchen, expansive deck and the large well kept yard. Would love to stay there again, it’s a very welcoming home. The grandkids can’t wait to go back. My family stayed at this beautiful home for our son’s graduation. It has been lovingly restored, and the furnishings are gorgeous, modern and luxurious feeling and eclectic too. The master bath shower boasts an ocean view from the window inside the shower area. The main deck is fantastic, you can smell the ocean air and there are lovely trees and birds out there too. We so enjoyed hanging out all together in the big kitchen and living room! We had a dinner out on the deck as the sun was going down it was magical. Hope to come back someday!

The house was beautiful! Well maintained and with a professional style kitchen. The location was convenient and the terrace with sea views spacious and inviting. My only negative comment was that it would have been helpful to to have another of the bedrooms with twin beds that can be made up as a double but give flexibility. Thanks. Lisa

We had a super fun week in Santa Cruz at this lovely home with ample space for connecting all together, as well as having space for everyone as they needed it individually. The large porch is terrific when the sun is out and the kitchen was great for everyone to cook together. The rooms were great and easy location.

Wow!!!! That's what our family kept saying from the moment we entered the gate to the property and saw the circular driveway leading up to the most beautiful, historical, and elegant home. Really, the pictures don't do it justice. You have to experience it in person to understand how special this property is. Tucked above the trees with amazing views from both decks, we felt transported to a different time and could not believe how we could feel so "away from it all" and yet be so close to everything. We were delighted to be able to hear the laughter and squeals and see the lights of the boardwalk in the distance while being secluded in our own space away from the crowds. It's really the best of both worlds. Bill and Camille have kept the history of this home (and we loved that they were willing to share it with us when we asked!) and yet packed it with all of the modern amenities you could ever need. A chef's dream of a kitchen, spa-like bathrooms and bedrooms, shared spaces that are modern and eclectic while being comfortable and cozy at the same time. If you love art, design, music, food and family this is the home for you! The only thing missing was soap/shampoo in the bathrooms. Easy to run out to one of the close stores nearby to pick some up, but once you are here, to be honest, you don't want to leave! This is one special place that sticks with you long after you leave it.

This house is magical...it maintains the charm of the late 1800's, yet the owners have taken great care to renovate with simplicity and a clean contemporaty style. The grounds are generous and offer opportunities for groups to gather and play. The owners are very responsive to any inquiry or need, and the house is meticulously maintained. The kitchen is absolutely fantastic to cook in, and the deck boasts amazing views of the Santa Cruz coast and boardwalk. We will most definitely come back again and again!

As parents of the groom, we needed a spot that would accommodate multiple family members plus a venue for a welcome party. The minute we walked in the door, the stress abated! Not only were the rooms spacious (and the bathrooms plentiful!), but the kitchen was a dream, and the ocean breezes added the perfect atmosphere. Everyone raved! We even added extra days at the front and back ends of our plans so that we could enjoy it to the max. The property owners were flexible, accommodating, informative and communicative.

This house was AMAZING!! So perfect for our ladies getaway!! The owners are super nice and easy to work with and they take such great care of their home. I can’t wait to come back!

The property is beautiful with great views. There is room for a group and family have their own bathrooms and private spaces as well. The large living room is bright and welcoming, the perfect place for family or friend gatherings. Camille was very helpful and responsive. We loved it and plan to return.
