2nd time staying here while visiting family in Kailua Beach. Beach view and access are unbeatable. Apartment is clean and comfortable…fans and ocean breeze kept us cool enough at night. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back ourselves!

Our host was friendly and very helpful. Not only made us feel welcome, but also gave us some great pointers about what to do on this side of the island. The setting was so different from the busyness of Honolulu…a refreshing change. Enjoyed the close proximity to the beach, the uncrowded, relaxed atmosphere. Had a great time!

This is such a lovely place and everything was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

The only issue to note is the restricted air flow in the backside / street side unit. It gets uncomfortably warm. There is a box fan, but it is wobbly (as they are) and requires a counter weight to keep from rattling.
I left the box fan on, while I was out, to keep the unit from being hot upon my return. It was noisy enough that the owner needed to access the unit in my absence to turn off the fan due to the noise it was making.
There are two units, one is indeed facing the beach with a window view of the ocean while the other unit is on the backside corner / street side. Due to the unit being on the backside corner of the large home the air does not cross through the unit.
Just an FYI. Everything else was fine.

Clean, comfortable. Felt like home. Keurig coffee pot and welcome pods included. Microwave cooking only but suited us just fine. Beautiful beach with soft sand. Delicious restaurants all over! Host was a delightful lady.

This rental was very nice with a very comfortable bed and beach front. Shari, the owner was just a text away with any requests. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Oahu! ❤️

This is the ideal spot on th perfect picturesque beach. The stay was comfortable and had exactly what you need. Wish we could have stayed longer. Shari was easy to communicate with and it was all great!

What a wonderful spot! You can’t beat the location! On a quiet cul de sac right on the beach. The unit was spacious and incredibly clean. The owner, who lives on the property, struck the perfect balance of checking in with me and also letting me have my privacy. I truly enjoyed my stay and I will be back. A hui hou!

The location was great. Easy access to the beach and down a quiet street with parking. The unit was as advertised and we really enjoyed our stay. I recommend this spot if you are looking for a low key getaway.

Wonderful morning sunrises and beach walks. Manager lives on site and was very helpful with activity and restaurant suggestions. Limitations were disclosed before renting: Microwave cooking only, and no view from inside of unit. No dining table in unit or in the yard.

Unit had everything we needed to be comfortable. BEAUTIFUL beach. Next time we would rent the smaller unit at the beachfront of the house, just for the view.

My fiancée and I only had a few days in Kailua but this property was in the perfect location. It was exactly as described and very comfortable for the time we stayed there. It’s a five minute drive to downtown and easy to get to from the highway.

Lovely property in wonderful location- away from the busy part of Oahu. Very comfortable bed and all the things you need for a pleasant stay. Shari is the perfect host. Be aware that this unit (like many) is not air conditioned. Fans are provided. If you are unaccustomed to, or have difficulty sleeping, during warm nights please let this host know. The front unit on the beach with AC may be a more comfortable option. We’ll request it on our next visit!
Otherwise couldn’t have found a better vacation spot.

We came to vacation and visit my sister who lives in Kailua and this was such a great location. You can take your morning coffee and sit right in the beach, go for an ocean swim any time, and drink your evening cocktail with your toes in the sand. Everything was provided including beach chairs and kitchen supplies as well as spices. Also the fridge was spotless. The rental was spotless as well and in a beautiful house, you can feel the ocean breeze as you sleep.

Property was very clean and quiet. We booked this listing to be on the beach for a few days without having to fight for parking at the beach park or in the local neighborhoods. Sunrises were amazing. Kailua Beach is just a treasure. Sheri was very responsive to questions- even when our smoke alarm went off in the middle of the night (just a malfunction, no fire). The only con is the lack of airflow and no A/C. We knew that going in but this listing gets HOT between noon and 6 pm. The open windows don’t capture much of the ocean breeze.

I was in Kailua for a wedding. I'd been there many times before and this rental was exactly where I wanted to be, and on the beach. The rooms were spacious and clean. I was easily able to get to the pre-wedding events, do a little shopping, be with friends, yet have my own little sanctuary away from all of the activity. My host was very gracious and accommodating, even after I rudely showed up a little early on check in day. She showed me a lot of aloha during my stay. There is another room that looks out onto the beach that I might try for next time. I loved being able to slip out onto the beach at night and just sit and drink in the sounds and smells and the stars, and loved the morning walks on it too.

Kailua was highly recommended to us by a friend (far enough from Waikiki to avoid the crowds, but close enough to spend the day or a few hours), which is what brought us to find Shari's listing. You can't beat the great location and beach access - the unit is in a quiet neighborhood with a cute downtown with a bunch of great restaurants/breweries. The unit was clean and spacious - Shari was kind enough to lend us snorkel gear, in addition to the beach towels and chairs. She was super responsive whenever we had questions and had great recommendations for local spots! Would recommend!

Wow! We loved staying at Shari’s rental. Excellent location, steps away from some of the best Oahu beaches. Easy communication, quiet neighborhood and clean accommodations. We will surely be back!

Loved the location beachside in a quiet street. The rental was perfect for two people with everything needed for a beach holiday. Loved the beach access steps away from beautiful Kailua beach. The host Shari was awesome and her communication was brilliant. Would highly recommend this property.

We enjoyed our 3-night stay in this roomy unit just steps from a beautiful beach. Everything was in good working order and clean. Beach chairs and towels were provided. The owner lives onsite and was helpful with suggestions of good restaurants and other sites.
