The house looked like its pictures and was clean. The kitchen was well equipped. We had no problems whatsoever. I would stay again.

Our getaway for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend was one of the best we've ever shared as a family. And your wonderful home is a large reason why. Thank you so much for making such a special place available for families to share. Everything we could have possibly needed was right at hand. As the cook of the family, it was so amazing to work in a kitchen that was fully stocked with all the gizmos and gadgets I needed to make our holiday meal. All the beds were very comfortable and everything was so clean and welcoming. Tons of space and that leather sectional in the living room is heaven. And that view!!!! Holy cow is it incredible! We are already planning our return to your wonderful home in the warmer months. It will be perfect for our annual Gals Gathering. Plus my husband and I want to invite a couple friends to experience the area on another weekend. Randall & Holly, you were great hosts and it was a pleasure to stay in your very special home. Randall and his team I think go above and behind to make your stay as comfortable and homey as possible. The house was spotless upon arrival with ample amounts of linens for every room and the response time was very quick anytime we had a question. The listing was exactly as described and the views from the deck were absolutely breathtaking. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could think of and more and the grill outside also came in handy. We had the opportunity to take a small walk down the road and hike the little/big crow mountain trail and the view at the top was totally worth it, the hiking back down and jumping into the hot tub really completed our day. We also brought our 3 dogs and I think they may have enjoyed their vacation just as much as us!

My husband and I have been here at least 5-6 times at this point, and every single time we leave wishing that we could have stayed longer! This home is absolutely stunning, and Randall is such a kind, thoughtful host... we'll definitely be back! Thank you!!

Beautiful spot to stay in Keene. It has amazing views of the Adirondack high peak's region. The house was extremely clean and well stocked from kitchen to the bathrooms to the linens. The place was accurately listed and advertised!

My fiance and I needed a reset from working and found this lovely listing. We were beyond impressed with its cleanliness, the communication with management and the view! This was a perfect family location with the serene view of the ADK. This was better than we hoped and will be staying here again! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

After taking a beautiful drive on the country road to a gorgeous home away from home. We chose to stay in and cook since the home was so well equipped. We enjoyed being able to all fit at the table for all of our meals with a large group. Our guest traveled from all over NY for this weekend trip. We can’t until we can do it again!

We have stayed at a lot of places in the Adirondacks over the last 30 years but this is, for our purposes, the very best. Clean, quiet, comfortable, well laid out, incredible view, all the amenities. The owners are kind and very attentive and the location - above Hurricane Road in Keene - could not be better. I am already planning to book it again for next year.

My family and I just stayed here for a week and it was one of the best vacation homes we’ve ever experienced! The house is beautiful— spacious, clean, well appointed, and with a stunning view of the Adirondack mountains. It’s a short drive into Keene and Lake Placid, with numerous activities. We enjoyed hiking (two trails right up the road from the property), swimming in Mirror Lake and local waterfalls, and activities at Mount Van Hoevenburg. We can’t wait to return!

Absolutely amazing house-- and great location. A few "extras" that aren't in the listing-- and worth noting! 1- "starter" basic spices, salt/pepper, paper towels, coffee. Kitchen v. well appointed. A nice welcome! 2- Deck has locking gates on both ends-- making it great for time with kids or dogs -- as they can't run off and you can relax and enjoy the view. 3- all bedrooms have white noise machines! 4- OUTSTANDING numbers of linens/towels/extra blankets. 5- upstairs has a 1/2 bath in addition to 3 full baths near each bedroom- which was great for daily use. 6- utility room has two dryers- easy to do a quick load and keep you having to bring tons of hiking clothing! 7- OUTDOOR SHOWER under deck! its great after a hike, before/after the hottub. 8- about 0.7 mile up the hill is entrance to both little/big crow hikes and hurricane access. Get a ride to the 9N start of hurricane and you can point to point to the top of hill/house for a nice hike with a fire tower! 9- there are baby gates & highchair. The WIC in the upstairs bedroom big enough for a pack/play if you had a little. 10/10-- strongly recommend! note: Elizabethtown (about 10 miles east) is next area with Tops/etc. There is however a Stewarts at the bottom of the hill for basics, as well as a great craft beer place where you can fill a growler. There is drive up recycling center in Lake Placid if you don't want to bring recycling home.

The property was very well kept and cared for. The view is gorgeous and we were in awe of it throughout our entire stay. The bunk room for the kids was perfect. We also brought our dog, which was a huge plus. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to make a meal. We also did the Big Crow and Little Crow hikes from the house and had a great time. About 20 min drive to Lake Placid. Will definitely come again! Thank you!!

A secluded and beautiful property with all the amenities you would need, just a short drive from the quaint town of Lake Placid with some great food. Would highly recommend for a mountain escape!

This was one of the best VRBO stays for us. The location was amazing, and the place itself was extremely clean and spacious. Everyone in our group loved it. The pics don’t do it justice! Highly recommended for anyone going to the Lake Placid region.

Took my extended family away for a nice weekend trip. Everyone was so impressed with the home. Everything from the floor plan to the view was perfect for our needs. We brought two dogs and they LOVED the experience. I’m so grateful for this opportunity to create memories for our family.

Exceeded all expectations. The view was incredible, the house incredibly comfortable and well-equipped. Very easy process to check in/out and fantastic host communication. We plan on returning and highly recommend this stay.

We had a wonderful 5 nights/6 days at this property. The view is BEAUTIFUL! The house is about a 22 minute drive to Whiteface Mountain and 25 minutes to the town of Lake Placid. The house is well stocked with plenty of utensils, plates, cookware, etc. for our group of 11 people. The propane tank on the grill ran out on the first night and Randall, the owner, had someone there in 20 minutes to replace it. He was so responsive! One of the nights it snowed 12 inches and the driveway was plowed before we even woke up to go skiing. This is one of the best VRBO's we have stayed in, not only because the house is great, but the owners and caretakers are AWESOME!

The house on O’Toole Lane was beautiful. It is well cared for, great amenities, fantastic location offering privacy in the woods yet only a few minutes from Lake Placid. Highly recommend!!

This is now our third year in a row staying at this amazing property and house. Everything is perfect. Very close to whiteface for skiing. Hot tub, views, sweet big adk house. Amazing

What an amazing experience! The house was gorgeous with breathtaking views. I wish to return when the weather is warmed up and see it in a different season.

Our family of 6 stayed at this property for a week in January. It was absolutely amazing. We will be back for sure.

Th location of this place to Whiteface was great and just about 10-12 minutes. Our two teen girls loved their own private suite on the lower level, wit easy access to the hot tub just outside their door. The kitchen was huge and very well appointed with all of the items we could want to cook with. ( Hubby is a chef). Having some coffee, tea and spices made it welcoming and easy to settle in. My favorite thing about this home was the master bath and the amazing mountain views! The owner was a very helpful person and super responsive to our needs..a perfect place for 8-10 adults or a family with kids, especially teens!!!Everyone had their own bath and a place to chill. I'd book another stay here anytime.

This place delivers and then some! We had everything we needed in a luxury setting. A lot of detail has gone into making this location so superior. My family and I had a blast! Our dogs loved it too. We appreciated the more out of the way location. For us, it worked perfectly. We had snow every day which made it even better for us. Thank you for everything. It was a trip to remember.
