Lovely condominium in a marvelous setting, the Gulf of Mexico a few steps across the street, San Carlos bay out the back door. Comfortable furnishings, plenty of amenities with full kitchen, a really nice floor plan compared to other condos I've stayed in at Light House Point. My only suggestion for improvement would be to add another towel bar or two in the second bathroom.

This condo is great for families or anyone who wants a quiet getaway. Lighthouse is predominantly residential so there is not a lot of loud commotion from renters. The unit is well equipped but not overly fancy in that way that you feel like you don't want to touch anything. It is located for easy access to the pool, Gulf Beach and the bay. Don't hesitate to rent this property for your next, or first, Sanibel stay.

Had an overall wonderful vacation! We loved the beauty of Sanibel, the wildlife, riding bicycles, beaches, shelling, restaurants, and shops. Especially liked having a short walk to the beach. It was great having a washing area with a hose near the condo for our sandy feet and shells. There are beach chairs, two umbrellas, and a net for shelling. Also enjoyed the large, heated pool. Plenty of towels and linens, and well equipped kitchen. The lanai was pretty and relaxing when eating our meals at the condo. One of our favorite places to eat out was the Lighthouse Cafe, especially for the “worlds best breakfast”, which is in walking distance from the condo. Also, a great homemade ice cream spot is there. Try the Sanibel Krunch! Matzaluna’s is a great place for dinner not far away. Nancy replied promptly to any questions or inquiries. The vacation rental staff were very helpful and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this property for an unforgettable vacation. Our only regret was having to leave!

The condo is beautiful. It was very clean and close to the pool and both beaches.It is outfitted with everything you could possibly need for a great stay, even chairs and umbrellas. We Loved Sanibel Island and the atmosphere was delightful, so glad we stayed in this condo. This quiet end of the island is great. Our grandchildren were more than entertained with the pool and beaches. The grounds and pool were pristine and the neighbors were very friendly. We felt safe on the island at all times. The restaurants were superb and the shops plentiful. I recommend a trip to the farmers market the first Sunday you are there. The owners of this condo were more than helpful and kept in touch, which was appreciated.the Shell Museum and the Ding Darling wildlife preserve are must sees, very interesting.

This condo is in a great location! It was very roomy for my husband and myself, our two adult sons and their girlfriends! It is bright and roomy and a great kitchen! Everyone had enough personal space, as well as The big room E living room and dining room! We loved the pool and it was great to have The umbrellas and beach chairs and beach toys provided. Well equipped kitchen, nice big washer and dryer in great working condition. Pool is just steps outside the back door and the beach is just across the street. Loved the location, and beautiful sunsets that we enjoyed. It had all the comforts of home, and then some! Would definitely love to come back and stay here again ! R. Moyano

Just spent two beautiful weeks. Condo was extremely clean. I usually don't rent bottom floors because I like a view and don't like critters, but I never saw not even an ant in the condo. We had 2 iguanas outside almost every day so that was a nice surprise. Furniture was nice and comfortable, nicely decorated. Everything as described. My only minor minor complaint was they had a grill, but no brushes to clean it and would have been nice if had some spices available in the kitchen.

This property is as advertised. It is spacious, tastefully decorated and very clean. First impression is the owners take care and pride in their property. We have vacationed on Sanibel Island several times in the past 15 years. This is the most delightful place we have rented. The condo is well maintained and shows no wear. All furniture, carpeting and tile floors were spotless. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The extra large shower in the master bath is great. The 55 inch TV is wonderful. The condo is well equipped with everything you will need. Pots, pans, dished, coffeemaker everything you can think of. Beach chairs, umbrella, etc. Towels, sheets pillowcases. It is also convenient to have a washer & dryer in the unit. The ocean is just a stroll across a non busy street or you can walk through the complex to the bay, private little beach. Go out to the gulf early for the sunrise and best shelling.The lighthouse is a two minute walk. The pool area is wonderful and large, plenty of chairs. The grounds are well manicured & pretty. Be sure to rent bikes for a week. We go everywhere on bikes, shopping, restraunts, and my favorite, Ding Darling. Twenty five miles of bike paths. Sanibel is truely a nature island. So many things to do, so little time. The owners are very accommodating and gracious. We would definitely recommend this property. We look forward to renting again next year. What a wonderful spacious, clean and attractive condo with super beds! Haven't slept that good in awhile! We had a great time and it's so relaxing. Terrific place to chill out and disconnect and detox from your every day city life. The Lighthouse end of the island is so peaceful and quiet. We loved the beach and the pool is nice and relaxing! Beautiful island and great place to stay!

We had a marvelously relaxing time! The beach was perfect, and we had beautiful weather to explore Sanibel and Captiva! We brought a bike and enjoyed walking and biking to Pinocchio's every day. Everything was just as it was described and pictured at the condo. I appreciated the security locks on the sliding doors. As a woman traveling alone with a small child, that increased my peace of mind at night and when we were away. We had a small problem over the weekend with the AC, but a quick call to the property manager had it repaired soon, even on a weekend night! The kitchen was very well equipped. The beds very comfortable. Everything we could possibly need or want was there, including binoculars! I had read an uncomplimentary review and was a little concerned about the quiet in the front bedroom and about water bottles at the pool area. Neither of those were issues during our stay. Turner's Beach was our favorite. At low tide, we found lots of shells and the water was calm and enjoyable. It was well worth the 3 minute stroll each evening down to the Lighthouse Pier to talk with other visitors, ask the fishermen about their catches, see the incredible sunsets, and watch the dolphins play. We will definitely consider returning to this property. I absolutely fell in love with Sanibel and wish I could remain on "island time".

The condo was beautiful! Everything was just as the owners had described the condo down to the timed walk to the beach! Most of all my children enjoyed the freedom of choice they could walk to the pool or join me at the beach! We all could go our separate ways without the worry of safety or the amount of distance apart. Nancy,who is incredible, played a key role in our renting the condo by answering my many emails, questions, and made sure we were settled in. We owe Nancy a huge thank you for helping us feel confident in our decision when we rented the condo!

We loved the location of this condo on the bay but also right across the street from the Gulf beach. We enjoyed cocktails on the beach and searching for shells. The condo was large and comfortable and well equipped . It had gorgeous views out the large windows of the bay. The pool came in handy also.

Pros: Spacious condo with nice screened porch and patio. Management company was responsive. Cons: The beds were extremely uncomfortable for us. They sagged like hammocks even before we got in. I gave the master bedroom to my parents so that left my husband and I in the guest room. We are both thin people but we barely fit in this bed and it was so lumpy and saggy that one of us ended up on the couch every night. Also that bedroom has a window to the outside walkway and every noise outside is loud enough as if it was coming from inside the room. So the nights I was in that room I was awakened by every person walking by or every car. My kids were in the twin room which seemed to have better beds but it was right next to the kitchen so we had to be super quiet after they went to bed. And we couldn't use the porch because there was a window right into that room from the porch. The condo and pool are right next to the parking lot so we heard service trucks every day with their loud engine roaring and loud reverse drive beeping. This became so distracting at the pool that we ended up going to the pool at our in-laws condo at Sundial. When we were at the pool area one time we brought some water and snacks to eat at the table. We misunderstood the rules signs to mean you couldn't eat in the pool. But a guy yelled at us for having food at the table. He was very rude and disrespectful even after we apologetically and quickly removed our food. Not being able to have a cup of water for my kids to drink while they swim in the pool for hours in crazy. We were very turned off by this rule and the rude way we were treated. The place we stayed last year had a grill in the pool area! The price seemed good compared to other places but after the bad experiences we had I don't know if we can go back.

Our family was very pleased with the condo - it was beautiful, spacious, clean & comfortable. My mom is 90 and she loved being able to enjoy the gorgeous weather on the screened porch & short walk to pool. The island and Gulf are awesome.
