Short walk to the south beach where we spent most of our beach time. We found this beach to be more relaxing and open. Garden hose at entrance to rinse off sand was very handy. Easy parking for 2 maybe 3 vehicles.

The cottage was so cute and cozy. The fire pit was our main attraction and the evenings were cool and perfect to do Smores. The cottage is sooo close to everything. We regret not renting bikes but next time for sure. The WiFi didnt really work but we didnt need it much. I"n sure i could have nessaged Pegi but it wasn't that serious to get on the internet. The kitchen was perfect for the couple of meals we made. The main room mattress could have been a bit more comfy. And a little more cushion to the cough. But all in all, my family and I enjoyed the stay and loved Tybee Island. We took a couple day trips to Savannah as it was only 30 minutes away but there was plenty to do on the island as well.

Such a beautiful little place to stay, the cottage and town. Perfect location! The place was clean and dolled up so nice. It was definitely hard to leave!

My husband and I spent a lovely long weekend at the Greene Cottage. The cottage was clean, beautifully decorated, and perfectly located. We had everything we needed and the beach, shops and fantastic restaurants are all just a short stroll away. We will definitely be back!

We both loved this little cottage. We enjoy antiques and older houses (my friend has an antique booth) and we found the older pieces and cleaver design elements a lot of fun to fawn over and discover in our short stay. As others have said, the location is an easy walk to some good local restaurants. Try Mi Vida for some surprisingly good veggie breakfast items (we liked it better than a well-regarded vegan restaurant in Savannah). Fins Corner Pizza and Hibachi had great pizza despite the, er, unusual pairing of cuisines. Even the sushi place was good. And we’re picky! We had some internet hiccups, but the owner was very responsive, and the issue was resolved quickly (for cable issues, lol). And she was VERY easy to reach and quite accommodating. You can’t ask for better than that. If I had to quibble about anything, I suppose the lighting could be a little brighter inside the cottage.

The Greene Cottage has comfy beds and the outdoor shower is a big plus if you're a beach bum. It has a lovely screened in front porch with dining & sitting areas with a ceiling fan. It's in a quiet neighborhood but close to dining and shops.

This was our 2nd stay in Greene Cottage and it won’t be our last. Even staying during a hurricane it was comfortable and felt like home away from home. The beautiful art, and comfortable furnishing put Greene Cottage above all others! The walkability to popular areas of Tybee is icing on the cake. Thank you to Pegi for being the most gracious host. Can’t wait to book next years trip!

We loved this cozy cottage in the center of everything! Interior was so cute and comfortable. We cooked a lot and the kitchen was fully stocked. Would love to return.

Location was important to us, as we’d stayed on Tybee island before and knew the part of the island we wanted to be near. Pegi was very easy to communicate with and the house was lovely and well stocked. We will definitely look forward to renting it again next time we’re down that way.

Absolutely LOVED the cottage. The owner (Pegi) is great and resolved an AC issue quickly on my check in day. Everything needed is there. The AC does cool quickly and the beds are really comfy!! Will be eager to return.

We loved this great cottage that was close to everything on the island. Full of vintage charm and comfy all around! We were in town for a wedding and it was the perfect place to rest and relax amid the wedding events.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Greene Cottage. It is in a safe location and convenient to a variety of restaurants and shops. The cottage was very quaint and provided much of what we needed. The outdoor shower was a nice option when returning from the beach. Overall, a great stay!

First time visitors to Tybee! Very busy place! house was close to everything!

There was animal hair on the pillows on sofa. Bed in master needs to be bigger. Also, need outside outlets for charging golf cart.

We were on the island to see Wasted Potential Brass Band at Huck a Poos and Chamacos, but I would book this cottage again even if the beach was closed! Every room is thoughtfully decorated, filled with sunshine and a carefree openess. We dined by the soft glow of string lights on the screened porch and had a private grill on the patio near the outdoor shower. The two bedrooms are far enough apart to provide privacy should you have guests. The master bedroom ensuite includes a claw-foot tub and large separate shower with a rain showerhead. Community is quiet and easily walkable. You have off-street parking for 2 vehicles. This is a bonus because free parking is limited. You may rent golf carts, bicycles, or beach chairs. We were not able to access the assigned WiFi network.

The cottage was so precious! Every thing we needed and great location! My mom and I had a great weekend getaway. We will stay again!

Just a quick walk to beautiful and quiet Inlet beach. We saw lot of people paddle boarding and kayaking near the inlet as well as fishing. Walkable to food and beach shops. Also close to ocean beach if you want a livelier vibe. Great location and cute comfy bungalow.

Very nice small and cozy cottage within a 5 minute walk to the beach. Exactly as pictured and described in the listing. It's small but has everything you need for a relaxing vacation close to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!!

The property manager is great to work with. However, the house needs renovation, it is dated and needs modernized. The second bedroom bed is too high for anyone with disabilities.

This cottage was exactly what we were looking for! This location is ideal - especially for that in-between ages like my kids. (ages 12 and 16). Tybee is a great neighborhood for allowing them some freedom to ride bikes, visit stores, get ice cream, go fishing on the pier...collect shells on the beach. Easy walking distance to great food, shops and flawless beaches. It was the quintessential beach cottage with shabby-chic wood paneling, cute nautical touches and breezy screened in porch. We can't wait to return!

Perfect size for four people; nice porch; good location

My husband and thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend. The cottage is small but very clean and fun with all the beachy decorations. The screened in front porch was enjoyable in the evenings too, I thought first that it may be less private but it was great! The location is the best, you could walk to the beach restaurants. We also rode our bikes throughout the quaint neighborhoods, certain roads were labeled for bicycles which made riding relaxing due to the lower volume of cars and the reduced speed limits. The weather couldn't have been better, not a cloud in the sky for the four days we were there. Highly recommend for 2 people!
