The home is beautiful and has enough room so we can all be together but not on top of each other. The pond with a zipline, rowboat and paddle boat gave us lots to do when we were not out exploring the beautiful Island. At night we sat around the propane fire table and talked late into the night. The 3 acres and pond attracted geese and deer and we loved the privacy. We used the hot tub morning and night. It is an easy walk to town so no need to worry about parking your car there. The property management company was very responsive and solved all our concerns almost instantly. We will definitely be back.

The house was HUGE, very clean, super well equipped and the asks for clean up at check out weren’t too burdensome. There were tons of small appliances and kitchen utensils. Beds were comfortable, and the yard was beautiful. We saw deer daily, a bald eagle a few times, and turtles poking their heads out of the pond. Only one of us was brave enough for the zip line, but she had fun!

The house is just outside of town so a three-minute drive will find you in the heart of Friday Harbor....but you will also find yourself not wanting to leave the property. Our two families had more than enough space to spread out and the three 8 and 9 year olds were entertained for hours on end with the zipline, game room, and jacuzzi. The views from the expansive back patio are amazing toboot. And a friendly PSA: the photos online actually do not do it justice...the house is even bigger than it appears (you will get lost upstairs I promise you) and that kitchen island is what dreams are made of. ;) The owner was extremely responsive. When I asked him where I could pick up ping pong balls, he was over with a new pack before I had the chance to hit town. It was a little warm the day we arrived but there were fans throughout the house and it never felt uncomfortable. Oh yeah...there are two sets of washers and dryers! That right there will make any mom tear up a little. Haha. Anyhoo...if you're even considering this rental, just go for it. It's spectacular.

Awesome place to stay with a larger group. Kitchen is great for group meals and there's so much to do on the property that 3 nights was hardly enough. 10ish minute walk to Friday Harbour was very convenient.

We booked this location for our small family reunion. The house was so specious and very fun if you have kids. Location is also great. It’s walking distance to downtown Friday harbor and all the restaurants. We would definitely go back. Luckily, we didn’t have to call the management for anything but I am sure if we did, they would have got back to us.

This beautiful property is as shown and is clean! The setting is PERFECT! Obviously a well-loved property. We used pretty much every amenity: zip line (totally awesome), paddle boat (didn't use the row boat), air hockey and corn hole. The jacuzzi was hot and ready to go. The kitchen had all the utensils and pans needed, missing condiments (except salt/pepper) but King's market is close by. Home is close enough for a walk into town. The only issue was the request by the owner to empty trash, start dishwasher and start a load of towels before leaving. We did all of these, but felt this is what the cleaning costs should/would cover. Would love to stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

KLarge group accommodations for a shrimping extended stay!

Stayed here for a long weekend with two other families. Our kids had a blast playing around the pond and exploring the huge property. The house was so expansive and we felt like each family had enough privacy from each other when needed (naps and such). The home is a quick 5 min drive from Friday harbor and all it has to offer. Dinner places were a bit hit or miss for our large party so having a fully equipped kitchen was a real lifesaver. Definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a larger space to host multiple families!

Location near Friday Harbor was very convenient. The house is very spacious and the kids loved the game room and swimming in the pond. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and we were able to cook in for several meals. No air conditioning (which is common in the northwest) but we were able to cool off the house with open windows during the evenings and mornings.

This is our second time staying here. We just love the grounds and the pond and the views and the beautiful house and the well-stocked kitchen. What a great place to hang out and play games all day and you are just a few minutes from town.

This was the perfect place for our family to stay. So much to do at the house and so close to Friday Harbor but it still felt rural and private. We’d like to come back!

The zip line was broken (but because we didn’t want to get in the water, we wouldn’t have used it anyway) and the boats were dirty with plenty of old water sitting in them.The cleaners were still there when we checked in at 4pm because the previous guests had apparently made such a mess of the place, including the hot tub. They worked hard to get the hot tub in working order, and was ready for our use on the second night. They also had someone mowing the front lawn on our 2nd to last day, so maybe we happened to rent the place at an unfortunate time before landscape maintenance could be completed.To end on a high note, we still enjoyed the spacious home with a fun game room and a tremendous view of the valley and distant hills. From the moment we arrived we felt at home in our own private estate So much better than the images and descriptions on line prepared us for. With so many choices of rooms to suit our needs and comfort, and nothing but tasteful casual elegance in the living areas, we were immediately at ease and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Our needs were carefully considered during our stay with special attention to the hot tub and zip line in case we wanted the added enjoyment . We were content to relax on the back patio in the glorious sun shine and gaze at the geese on the pond , the cows in a nearby paddock and the gorgeous inquisitive fox who visited daily. We simply loved it! Next time we’ll bring someone who can play the baby grand. It was a beautiful place to be as we celebrated a friends wedding. Next time we’ll be back for no reason at all.

9 of us celebrated my parents’ 50th anniversary. Kids from 2-76 years old had tons of space to play all together, have time alone, and everything in between. There is so much to do at this house for all ages: the kitchen and dining areas are great for meals together, indoor and outdoor games abound, wildlife outside kept us entertained, and we all had our own privacy for sleeping. We went for hikes, to the beach, sightseeing, etc but we honestly all wanted to spend most of our time at the house because it was such a great place to be!

We had the most enchanting few days staying in this lovely, well appointed house; the only negative is that we didn’t stay long enough! We felt so lucky to be able to experience beautiful Friday harbor with this house as our base! We can’t wait to come back, soon we hope.

Our family stayed at this property for 3 days and it was great. Very spacious well-appointed house.

Everything about this home and property was amazing. We Loved playing on the zip line, swimming in the pond, cruising on the paddleboat and soaking in the hot tub. The slip and slide was a highlight for our kids. The game room offered countless options for entertainment. We did “Family Olympics” using the bocce ball set and corn hole. The home was beautiful inside and out. The kitchen was well appointed in the beds were some of that comfy as we have ever slept on in a VRBO. We only wished we could have stayed longer.

We rented the house for a family vacation of 9, including 5 kids ages 6-12. The house was perfect. There were tons of bedrooms and sleeping areas. The property is on acres with a neighboring farm, giving us lots of outside room to run around. The kids loved the pond, including zip line, paddle boat and inflatables. Kitchen was fully stocked with cooking equipment. Laundry room had 2 washers and dryers. Location was so close to Friday Harbor and all of our excursions. We highly recommend it!
