2016 was our third stay at this outstanding property. This apartment ranks number one for us as our favorite accommodation in St Maarten. That's quite a statement because we have been visiting St Maarten since 1977 and have always chosen to stay at first rate properties over the years. The owner is an extremely gracious and thoughtful man and has provided for all the creature needs one could want. The apartment is spotlessly clean. The furnishings are first rate and the amenities of free wi fi, phone and a free car while at JusMarNa are the icing on the cake. We are already booked for 2017. Allan and Pat

This property is fantastic! The condo is beautiful and beautifully furnished. The view is spectacular from both the balcony and the condo. It was wonderful to sit on the balcony and have a morning coffee and see the beautiful bay and mountains. The host is very attentive and has made the condo very visitor friendly. He has provided a vonage phone for free long distance calls to the States, an island cell phone for your use as well as included a car. The car is new. It was wonderful to not have to worry about booking a rental car on the island as I had heard some of the companys were very unreliable. The host sent us information about the activities taking place in the complex on the dates of our stay as well as responded to all our inquiries during the booking process immediately. The location is phenomenal with all you could ask for right within the complex: pool, tennis courts, gym and a plaza in the complex with a number of very good restaurants and shops if you do not want to venture out, but also conventiently situated to go sight seeing all around the island. There is a very nice shopping mall within a 2 minute walk from the complex. I cannot say enought good things about this rental. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this property.

My husband and I visited St. Martin in September 2014 and stumbled across Porto Cupecoy. I told him, "this is where we are staying next year." So I got on VBRO and found this amazing condo JusMarNa. This condo is simply stunning and the owner has thought of everything to make this an enjoyable experience. The pictures are true to the interior of the condo and the furnishings, dishes, linens etc. are top notch. The decor and supplies have been carefully thought out by the owner. Porto Cupecoy itself is a gorgeous area and this condo overlooks the beautiful marina area. The fact that the owner provides a car with this condo is extremely helpful and generous. The property manager is very professional and informative and made arriving and departure a breeze. We have stayed at many VBRO properties and this unit by far exceeds all of the other properties. For our seventh trip to St. Maarten in 2015, we chose to stay at JusMarNa, Fred's penthouse at Porto Cupecoy after he so graciously met with us in the Plaza at Porto Cupecoy on the day of our departure while on our last vacation in 2014. Fred's penthouse unit is everything as stated in the condo description and so much more. Photographs do not accurately reflect the amazing views of the lagoon, the lowlands, the French hills, to Marigot and beyond. We enjoyed the fireworks in Marigot on Bastille Day from the comfort of JusMarNa. The accommodations were incredibly spacious for a one bedroom unit, quite comfortable, and immaculately clean. The housekeeper visited twice during our 11 day stay washing the bedding and tidying up a bit. There are plenty of beach towels, wash cloths, bath towels, etc. and there were even a couple of cooler bags for the beach as well as a beach umbrella which proved to be much needed on the beaches such a Plum, Long, and Cupecoy. Fred has added some beautiful new artwork not shown in the pictures of the unit. The art features the paintings of a local artist and are quite striking. Additionally, Fred has a new car included with the rental of his unit which made getting around the island more pleasurable. Fred met us in the plaza on the day of our arrival and personally introduced us to his property taking the time to explain all of the features of his unit. Fred was an extremely gracious host who kept in contact with us via e-mail throughout our stay. My husband and I would not hesitate to stay at JusMarNa anytime we need a one bedroom unit. It was a lovely experience from beginning to end!

We have been vacationing in SXM for years and were ready for a change of pace. We found it and more at JusMarNa at Porto Cupecoy. Every detail was taken care of. For starters.. the use of a car exclusively for us with an assigned parking space. Stunning décor, appliances and furnishings. 24/7 security. Wifi. QUIET and peaceful. Just beautiful. Fred was always just a phone call away. This was just a spectacular vacation for us and yes, we will be back. We really were able to relax at this beautiful villa.

We have been vacationing to St Maarten for over 20 years and this year we found a beautiful property at JusMarNa penthouse at Porto Cupecoy. It is a spectacular location, the appliances, furniture and decorating was lovely and certainly makes you feel like you are at home...very comfortable. The sound system,wifi, and telephones and car was a bonus. Beautiful views and easy access to shopping and beaches nearby. Our vacation experience this year was special as we celebrated our 40th Anniversary and we are looking forward to returning next year. Hopefully we will get to meet you Fred!!! My wife and I spent a month on island and stayed at JusMarNa. Fred has a well-maintained penthouse unit which was always quiet and a great home after a day's activities. We enjoyed walking the grounds and marina at Porto Cupecoy. Everything described in the earlier reviews is reliable. We had a maintenance issue arise during our stay and both Fred and Porto Cupecoy were very prompt in quickly addressing the issue. We were totally pleased with our stay and have already scheduled our time in 2016.

This was our third trip to St. Maarten and our first stay at JusMarNa. The property and unit are spectacular. We have already booked for next year! Everything was comfortable, clean, modern, and simply exceptional!!! Thank you, Fred for a fabulous 10 days in our favorite spot on Earth!!!!

This was the 9th consecutive year we have vacationed on St Martin after growing weary of cruses and several other islands. We enjoy the beaches, the restaurants and my wife the shopping. For 7 years we rented villas at Oyster Pond but found the travel time and climb up the mountain getting old. After trying a villa in Terres Basses in 2013 we found JusMarNa and gave it a go for 9 nights. This place is a GEM! Great location, modern, quiet, well furnished, a rental car and one of the best owners you could ever meet. Fred makes sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. We will return and if we bring another couple will use his 2 bedroom property.

We spent a great deal of time searching for the perfect location for our one week vacation St. Martin /St. Marteen. And we found it in this location. The penthouse has every amenity you can think of and then adds luxury items like a wireless sound system, beautiful views from the huge terrace, a car and easy access to restaurants, a grocery market, the small beach and a great pool. It is very clear that the owner was thoughtful in the design of the home, it's amenities and he really believes in delivering a premium stay. We will return to the island primarily because of the time spent at JusMarNa.

I have stayed in some wonderful properties in St. Maarten, but Jusmarna Penthouse was the best yet! The location is excellent! Everything I needed was in this property. The appliances, furniture, and decorating was top of the line...felt like I was home. I would highly recommend Jusmarna Penthouse to anyone who desires an elegant, spacious, quiet, first-class property. It more than met all of my needs and expectations. Fred was the perfect host, and he makes the best Moscow Mule! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Our stay in St. Maarten was fabulous! Having the convenience of the car and phones was a great help! The a/c at the whole resort went out for half of our stay and Fred did everything he could do to make sure we were informed and comfortable while the resort worked to get it back! Porto Cupecoy is a great resort and this condo is amazing! Thanks again! We can't wait to come back!

This was my first time booking with "home away from home" and our first time to SXM. Thanks to everyone’s reviews we decided to give it a try and it exceed all of our expectations. The place is just lovely.. The apartment is just amazing and had more amenities that we have at home. The Jusmarna penthouse is fabulously decorated and meticulously well maintained. We felted right at home.. Porto Cupecoy is such a great location we were thrilled in every way. Fred is such a great host his hospitality is just amazing. My husband and I have travelled our fair share to SXM and thought we had found all the great perks of this beautiful island until we stayed at this condo. It surpassed all our expectations and was immaculate in every way. Fred was such a wonderful host and resource for all our needs. A dependable car was provided that has great gas mileage. The amenities included were far beyond what we could ask for the price we paid. Porto Cupecoy is such a great location for any traveller and the complex is secure with a beautiful pool and gym. The balcony and windows boast views of the Marina and city. We cannot wait to return to this property for all our SXM travels.

We booked three days at Fred's place, short notice for a long weekend. He was helpful from the start right through to the end of our stay. The apartment was faultless: spacious, well furnished, huge balcony, king-size comfortable bed, Sonos music system, 2x huge TV's and fully equipped with everything you would ever need... Location was perfect, and the car was a nice touch. TBH I never write reviews, but felt this was worth a mention. Highly Highly recommended.

I am very particular about our vacation "home away from home". I do a lot of careful research before I even contact the owner to inquire about availability. I read the reviews. I was very pleased to arrange a 5 night stay at Jusmarna penthouse on our very first trip to St. Maarten. Even with all of the careful planning I did in preparation for the trip, I could not have been more pleased. Porto Cupecoy is an awesome location. All of the amenities of the Porto Cupecoy property are stated in the description. Read it carefully. Every single one of them is true. You will like it all. But the very best part is Jusmarna penthouse. What did we like the best? That's hard to narrow down (although my husband started doing research on the Sonos systems before we even left St Maarten). Everything we thought we might need for our stay was already there. Everything we hadn't thought of is there too. Mostly we enjoyed the security and serenity, along with the beautiful views from the windows and veranda. The Jusmarna penthouse is fabulously decorated and very well maintained. Fred Grigsby Jr has, because of the our total vacation experience, ensured that his property calendar will be the first thing consulted when we decide that we need to visit St. Maarten again. Jusmarna is an amazing place that never failed to exceed expectations.

I can't say enough good things about this condo; forget for a minute that you receive a phone for local calling, an international phone for work, an ipod docking station, A CAR, an amazing condo with every possible amenity and so much more. The best part of Jusmarna was the owner of the property; he was always available to answer any questions, tend to a minor shower issue, and basically went out of his way to make sure we had a wonderful time. We'll definitely come back to Jusmarna next time we're visiting Sint Maarten. Thanks so much

My boyfriend and I stayed at this property for 6 nights during Christmas, 2013. When we initially made the reservation, Fred was a pleasure to deal with, and was extremely professional and conscientious. He even offered us the services of pre-grocery shopping (with food waiting in the condo on our arrival, a service we didn't use, but the availability was appreciated), and had his property manager waiting for us upon our arrival to Jusmarna. Carol brought us into the condo, and gave us a tour of all of the amenities, ensuring that we know how to use the satellite tv, the vonage phone, the local cell phone (great perk!), the car (even better perk!), the ipod docking station etc etc etc... She also offered to make recommendations for dining and activities on the island, but since it was not our first visit to St. Martin, we appreciated the offer, but we declined. (As a note, Fred keeps a binder in the condo that is filled with all of the information you could need on all aspects of St. Martin vacations - super well organized and really helpful!) The condo itself is lovely; beautifully decorated, well appointed, and very comfortable. The pictures do not do it justice. It was more than enough space for the 2 of us, and we really took advantage of the beautiful terrace, where we spent many mornings having coffee, and late nights having drinks. There were more than enough towels (both bath and beach - which is key - we have rented in the past and had to buy overpriced beach towels), and there were even amenities more associated with hotels (shampoo, soap, laundry detergent for the machines, etc) The housekeeper came on a regular basis, and the condo is meticulously well maintained. We had a couple of questions during our stay, and Fred was super-responsive, always reachable by phone or email within the hour. And on a final note, I discovered that I left my ipod in the docking station at Jusmarna when Fred called to tell me that they had found one there. No worries, he says, and he shipped it to me the next day. I received it in Canada a few days later, more carefully wrapped in bubble paper than any package I have ever received. If you want to travel to St. Martin, (and there are so many reasons to visit this beautiful island) look no further than Jusmarna!!

We have been visiting St Martin since 1977 and we have always chosen to stay at the better properties available at the time. We've rented villas at La Samanna, villas at Residences Baie Rouge, villas at the Ocean Club and other apartments at the Porto Cupecoy complex. We would ratet he JusMarNa apartment in the top two or three of all the facilities we've rented. The apartment is spotlessly clean. It is appointed with all the amenities one loves to have in one's own home such as large screen flat TVs, broad sattelite channel choices, first rate appliances and furnishings. And, when you throw in the car made available gratis by the owner , the JusMarNa apartment moves to the top of our list. We are looking forward to our next stay. Allan and Pat

What a great experience from booking to departure. Fred is such a perfectionist in all regards and he leaves no details incomplete. The Porto Cupecoy property is truly stunning and visually appealing in every way. Security is good and having a nice grocery store and 6 restaurants on property is a HUGE convenience. We especially loved Ernest and Fidel's restaurant. We started every morning by walking to the grocery store and picking up newspapers to read and purchase our daily needs. Jusmarna Penthouse is appointed with only the best appliances, linens and conveniences. Everything from the towels to the sheets and the sound system are TOP SHELF! Having a rental car, US phone line and cell phone included in the rental is a huge convenience and money saver. I had to make several lengthy work related calls back to the states and having the free land line was such a time saver and convenience. To say that Fred has thought of everything would be an understatement. The penthouse is much larger than the pictures suggest. We hosted friends for dinner in the condo one evening and they commented on how spacious and well appointed the unit was. The views are incredible and the balcony is a superb place to start the day over coffee. Fred lives across the street from Porto Cupecoy and responds immediately to any requests although he is in no way intrusive. In Jusmarna, we have found our new SXM home. We can't wait to come back to Jusmarna when we next visit SXM.

We have been visiting St. Martin several times a year and have determined that Porto Cupecoy is the only place we will stay. We enjoyed being able to walk down to the marina with its many great restaurants/bars and it even has a grocery store. We have stayed in a few condos in Porto Cupecoy and this one was quite the treat. The unit was located on the 4th floor with incredible views from every window. The owner spared no expense… a car, a phone, and the furnishings are exquisite. We truly enjoyed are stay and look forward to re-bookig in the future.

I have been to Saint Martin with my husband before and he has been there several times as well. This apartment was the best place we've ever staying in on the island, hands down. Not only is the pricing incredibly reasonable, but the owner of the property is the kindest most helpful man who made our stay such an extremely relaxing one. Did I mention a car comes with the property? Sorry, let me repeat that. A CAR COMES WITH THE PROPERTY. Not to mention the fully modern furnishing, fresh linens and new mattress, full kitchen and sweeping views on two sides (also a balcony). I cannot stress enough how great this stay was. Forget old moldy smelling, over priced villas and high rise hotels with lack luster rooms. The Jusmara Penthouse is a modern, perfect STEAL for what you will pay for it.
