We love this VRBO!! The location is perfect for us and Luquillo is great. The hosts are amazing and have thought of everything you might need for a beach vacation. This was our second visit and with any luck won’t be our last.

The hosts were nothing less than amazing. We arrived to a fridge full of refreshments and fruit in addition to an amazing gift basket. Communication was great and the property is amazing. The rooftop is a great place to hang out at night. The proximity to the beach cannot be beat. They include all the little things you wish other VRBOs would do. It was the little touches along with great owners who made sure our stay was great that made the difference. We will be booking this again.

We had a wonderful time! This is our second stay. The condo has every amenity you need. The location is next to the beach in Luquillo. There’s a beautiful terrace to enjoy your evenings. It’s a must. Linda and Rafael are the best hosts. We hope to return!

We had a wonderful stay at Rafa and Linda's apartment. It is a perfect set up for a 3-4 person group. They had everything you could need for your stay. We enjoyed spending our downtime on the rooftop terrace. We appreciated that the apartment had air conditioning in the main level because it was quite hot most days we were there. This apartment is in a great location. You are right on the beach, close to Luquillo Beach, not far from El Yunque Rainforest, the Bio Bay in Laguna Grande and under an hour for a trip to San Juan. Linda and Rafa answered any questions I had during our stay. They took great care of us. Thank you so much for helping us make amazing memories!

I can't say enough about the property and the hosts. They are both amazing and had though of pretty much everything to make the stay comfortable. The property had all the amenities needed for duration of our stay. The kitchen is well stocked with different pots & pans, cutlery and dinnerware. The real crown jewel is the location of this property, where you are steps away from the beach. Those morning and evening walks and breeze from the sea is awesome.

Rented condo for family vacation. From the start the hosts were incredibly thoughtful and made us feel welcome and treated us like family. The condo was well provisioned with food, beach gear and thoughtful gifts. Location is superb with great views and easy beach access. Would definitely recommend

Very clean, quiet, wonderful beach location. The space was perfect, comfortable beds, nice kitchen, rooftop deck was awesome! Sunscreen and bug spray, beach towels and beach toys (snorkels, wave boards) provided. The hosts even provided coffee, milk, juuce and snacks! It was a bit difficult to find in the dark when we first arrived, but just keep going when the road turns. The hosts also provided great info about activities and places to go which we found useful. Can't wait to stay again!!

We had a fantastic time here and it was perfect for our 1yo and 3yo. They had everything we needed including a sweet welcome basket and some food basics as well as some brand new toys for our kids. The roof top is amazing and we spent so much time there. The beach here is shallow and calm but Luquillo beach which is better for swimming is a walk or short drive away and the food kiosks there are great. It’s also so close to El Yunque. We’d love to come back and are recommending this place to family and friends. Thanks for a great stay!

One of the best VRBO’s we have stayed in! Rafael and Linda treat you like family, when we arrived they had local snacks and fruit for us, the condo is stocked with anything you could possibly need to cook, relax and enjoy a day at the beach. It’s very clean and well kept, bed was comfortable. We enjoyed espresso machine every morning and roof top patio is an awesome space to relax. We have stayed in Luquillo a few times and really enjoyed this location due to easy access to beach and short walk to town. We hope to return again soon!

I can't say enough about this place! We loved our stay. I wanted a place that had easy access to the beach and the rainforest. Little did I know that we'd have a view of each of those from our rooftop patio. Look to the left and there is the beach, and look to the right and there is El Yunque. Our hosts were amazing and responsive, even leaving a little welcome package for our arrival. I give this rental a 10 out of 10 and look forward to returning.

We just spent 16 days in the apartment, and we had a very good time. We had a very warm welcome from Linda and Rafael. We felt really at home here. Here are all kinds of equipment and fx spices in the kitchen, beach equipment, water play things. We will be back next year.

Rafael and Linda were amazing with their communication, hospitality and accommodations. The villa had everything we needed for a full month's stay. It was quiet, had amazing views of El Yunque and the ocean and peaceful natural surroundings adjacent to the decks. We look forward to staying there next year.

Pura Vida is a beautiful property with amazing views of the rain forest and beach from the rooftop. We rarely used the AC because of the wonderful breeze coming in off of the ocean. The place is equipped with everything you need for the beach, cooking, bathing and relaxing in the condo. I would definitely seek out Pura Vida for another trip to Luquillo!

Our trip to Puerto Rico could not have gone much better, and this is taking into account that we were delayed leaving Chicago by the December winter storms. Our hosts, Linda and Rafael were simply the best. They were never more than a text away and super responsive if we has any questions. When we finally arrived to the apartment (at nearly 2am) we were surprised to find a welcome basket waiting for us with an assortment of treats and a couple of very welcome items in the fridge. They had also left a very well thought out binder with information on the apartment, the local area and Puerto Rico in general. We adjusted our plans based on some of the information in those binders. The apartment was PERFECT for our needs. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms were well sized and we never felt cramped. The kitchen was beyond what we could have hoped for, and we've seen some iffy ones in the past. Rafael and Linda have stocked a very tastefully updated kitchen with everything you could need. All of the kitchen implements, utensils, service-ware and appliances were super clean. The state-of-the art washer and dryer meant we could have even packed lighter than we did. The private rooftop space was great as well. Nice views, nice breezes, and all of the items we needed for the beach. Thank you Linda and Rafael for the wonderful place! We will recommend you to anyone considering a visit to PR!!!

Communication began very soon after we booked and a few times between booking up to arrival. On the day prior to arrival, Rafael made sure we had the pertinent info for check in. Check in was great. Berto showed us around. The place was beautiful. Our trip was in November so the condos had few people there. The condo was spacious and plenty of supplies were provided. My youngest son was turning 12 while we were there. A Happy Birthday banner was hung, a cake and gift provided. Lots of literature was available about restaurants and activities. The kitchen was fully stocked. We didn't cook much but we should have and we certainly could have. The highlight of the condo was the rooftop. I could've just sat up there the entire time and been content. There is a room that can be closed off or opened up. Lots of seating, a hammock. plenty of beach chairs and toys, a grill and more were available. There was a quick walk to the private beach. The water right there was very shallow and grassy so my kids did not enjoy it as much because they wanted waves. But you could stroll down the beach in either direction for more space and a little deeper water. All in all, the stay was great. I'd love to return.

My experience at the penthouse in Punta Banderas was very good. The attention to detail from the owner Rafael Colon was the best ever in every way possible. Very pleased with the apartment quality and the cleanliness of this spectacular penthouse location with easy accessibility to the beach in luquillo. The pentouse has everything you can think of for a great great stay in terms of towels amenities, appliances ect.... extra giftings left from Rafael as well as thoughtful coordination of entry and exit to this stay was excellent. I highly recomend this choice condo as the best I have ever experienced. There is great views of Puerto Rico natural beauty and easy access to many other locations one would want in a relaxing vacation in Puerto Rico.

Apartment was beautiful, very clean, well equipped, new kitchen appliances, ACs in bedroom and common areas, next to the beach, close to tons of outdoor/fun activities and places to eat, two parking spaces, gated community, etc. I could go and on. And, the hosts were wonderful and thoughtful. Highly recommend. I would definitely stay there again.

I honestly can’t find anything negative to say about the property, Rafael and Linda (the owners), or the renting process. We traveled to Puerto Rico for a much needed family summer vacation. Everything in the description and pictures were extremely accurate. As soon as I booked, Rafael began communication. The information was clear and made our trip as easy as possible. We were scheduled to arrive between 2 and 3am. Rafael advised security which let us in the gate and we already had instructions on exactly where to park and the door code to get in. When we arrived, we were surprised to see a Happy Birthday banner hung up to celebrate our twins upcoming birthday along with a cake in the refrigerator. Everything was extremely clean. Everything we could possibly need in every room was fully stocked. The views from the rooftop of the beach and mountains are unbelievable! Our beach trips, which were pretty much everyday, were made extremely easy. Umbrellas, chairs, sand toys and even boogie boards are all provided. The washer and dryer in the apartment were also convenient for us to throw a load in every now and then. Any type of appliance you can think of is provided from espresso machine, to sandwich press. Any kitchen utensil you might need, I honestly couldn’t think of anything I might’ve needed that they didn’t have available. We had so many things just a few minutes away. Numerous bakeries, restaurants like the restaurant row in Luquillo beach with about 60 kiosks of different foods, beaches and El yunque we’re all less than 10 minutes away. I would definitely recommend Carabali Rainforest Park if you like horseback and ATV tours. We all had a blast there. I would recommend Rafael and Linda’s place to anyone who is looking to stay in the Luquillo area. Even San Juan is only about 30 mins away, which we visited a couple of times on our trip. You will not be disappointed with this place. Best VRBO I’ve rented by far!!

From the moment we arrived this beautiful condo was very impressive. Clean and everything updated. Hot showers and cold air conditioning were always working. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and welcoming from the very beginning! The beach is steps away and the water was crystal clear. We will definitely be back!

We have rented a few places through VRBO and this was definitely the best stocked/prepared rental I have visited. Beautiful place. I loved the rooftop hammock. The beach rich in front of the building very pretty but shallow. A more swimming/jump in the waves kind of beach is a short walk away. Close to the rainforest, kiosks and groceries.

This condo is in an amazing location and is perfect for a family. From the welcome gifts to the amenities, everything was perfect. The beach in front of the condo is very calm and peaceful. El Yunque is about 20 min away. Bio bay is about 25 minutes away. Very safe location. I highly recommend and we will be back.

Words can't possibly express our experience at this apartment. Linda and Rafael are very thoughtful and responsive hosts. Communication leading up our visit was regular and we had everything we needed from them before we arrived. The property manager, Berto, was also very responsive anytime I had questions. My family and I were on this trip to celebrate many family milestones, a birthday and an early anniversary. Linda and Rafael made sure our stay was special and welcomed us with open arms. The location couldn't have been better. If you want to relax on the beach, but also enjoy shade (like myself), there are many palm trees around to do just that. If you want to get sun then you do that. The beach location is semi private. No one can enter the beach from the complex, except for guests staying there but people can certainly get to this spot by walking down the beach from public access areas. However, we never had a problem getting the spot we wanted each day. The apartment was perfect. Our family of 4 had plenty of room, the kitchen has everything you need and the apartment was very cool (thanks to several A/C units throughout). Our favorite thing about the apartment was the private rooftop. The hammock was my daughter's favorite spot in the apartment. We had several evenings where we just enjoyed the nighttime weather, had some drinks and played some games (supplied by apps on our phones). Our favorites are Uno and Heads Up! The apartment is also a very short drive from restaurants, grocery store, gas stations and pharmacy. With El Yunque only 15 minutes away, Fajardo only 20 minutes away and San Juan 45 minutes away this is a great retreat in a quiet town. Simply put, you won't be disappointed in the apartment, beach location or the hosts.

If you are on the fence about booking Linda and Rafael’s place, stop thinking and DO IT! Everything about this place and the hospitality we received was above and beyond what we could have imagined. They were helpful not only while we were there but in the planning process as well. Linda and Rafael provided every little detail we could possibly imagine including toys for our daughter to keep her entertained on the rare rainy day. The condo is equipped with literally everything you could need and is beautifully decorated with all up to date appliances, and nice spacious bathrooms and bedrooms. The roof deck is the icing on the cake and we enjoyed some lovely afternoons and evenings soaking in the relaxation up there. The beach is right there and some days we walked a little ways down and others we sat right at the gate. Both with amazing of calm clear water. The location is perfect. The kioskos are about 3-5 min drive or 25 min walk. We didn’t even go to the public beach because the one at the condo was so nice, but it’s super close as well. We spent one day in Fajardo and visited Seven Seas and Play Escondido (only about 20 min drive). The rainforest is also super close. This place is a GEM! If you have the opportunity to stay here, don’t pass it up!
