We rented this house for my daughter's wedding. We had 7 adults and we had plenty of room for everyone. The home was very clean. The owner was easy to communicate with and we had everything we needed. To make it even better we had beautiful weather for the wedding on the beach by Lake Michigan. I would highly recommend this rental.

The house and location worked very well for our group. The house is close to Leland, has lakefront access and is secluded from the neighboring houses by vegetation , even though they quite close on both sides. The property contact responded quickly to our few questions.

Enjoyed our stay on the lake. House was equipped with all our needs. Great location. Relaxing waterfront waking up to the sunset. Loved the area.

We had a wonderful trip to Leland - so lucky because the cherries and the trillium were blooming. House is very well equipped with everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and also cooking basics (always a bonus). We loved that Loftus cottage was clearly a family home. Location was excellent- easy walk into Leland. Perfect home for comfort, gathering and view! Love the area!

We came for a small family wedding in Northport. This was such a good experience. We were so pleased with this beautiful home. It's a very peaceful property with a gorgeous lakeview. We had two families together and it was a wonderful place to spend the weekend. We enjoyed our family time sitting on the dock and having our bonfires in the evening. It was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. This is the first time we've rented a house, it was easy and we were so pleased, we loved looking at all the family photos on the walls. We know this house has been filled with love. We would definitely go back again. The only negative is the check out time. We didn't get to bed until after 1:30 am and had to be out by 10:00 am. Not easy getting a group up and out so early after a wedding, a little stressful, but they all did it for me. We all loved this house!

The house pictures were very accurate and the house was a bit dated. It really could use some TLC and a deep cleaning. Location, property and communication with hostess was great.

Excellent place Such attention to detail The only thing that wasn’t awesome was the weather. My son has autism and this place was perfect for him. The host was responsive and helpful. The dock was perfect for our small sailboat. The sandy beach was walking distance as was downtown. I would stay here again. Reminder to anyone who likes to grill to bring charcoal. We forgot to bring it.

This was the best rental experience we’ve ever had. Fantastic family house on a beautiful lake. Close to town. The owner was very helpful and the house was extremely clean and well organized. We hope to stay here again (if we are lucky enough it find any open dates!)

Beautiful family home tucked away in the trees with Lake Leelanau in the backyard. Well-kept, comfortable, great communication!

This house was beautiful! The pictures don't do it justice. It was so big and spacious for our family of 10! Everything was clean, lots of supplies available in the kitchen, plenty of towels, etc. The host, Susan, was very helpful and responded to inquiries quickly. We enjoyed our time on the dock on Lake Leelanau. The house is also located in a great small town, Leland. We spent time on the beach of Lake Michigan and down the docks visiting various eateries, all located only a mile from the house! While staying here, our family dreamed of having a Family Lake House just like this house! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
