Great spot! Lots of walkable and bike-able places! We came for a family vacation and enjoyed every minute. The kids loved the beach and pool and the provided beach toys were a hit! Amy was very helpful for everything! Everyone in the group wants to stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at Captains Cove. Great location, comfortable and cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook some memorable family dinners. Very relaxing stay. Thanks for sharing your wonderful villa.

Stayed a full week with our adult kids and their spouses (some only stayed part of the week). The house was very clean and spacious enough to fit all seven of us comfortably. Everything worked as expected, including the [shared] charcoal grill in the back. Host was friendly and responsive via text. Walk to the beach was short and easy, even when carrying cooler, chairs, etc. Captain's Cove is inside Palmetto Dunes, a very nice neighborhood with lots of bike/walking paths, tennis and pickle ball courts, golf course, beautiful landscaping, and lots of shade trees. We played PB on two different mornings and the courts were in excellent condition. I recommend calling at 7:30am the day before to make PB reservations and then showing up 10-15 min before reservation time to check in. General store was a short walk away and was a convenient way to stock up on necessities like coffee and beer and also a good place for soft serve ice cream. We definitely plan to come back to Captain's Cove in the future!

Our family loved everything about this place! Great location with a very short walk to the beach and pool. Private beach area was not overcrowded. Perfect amount of space for 2 families including 4 young kids. Great selection of beach toys and kitchen amenities. We loved visiting the lagoon each day too. We used the gas grills by the pool which were very convenient and easy to use. All the beds were very comfortable and the kids loved the bunk room. Communication with the owner was excellent and they were diligent in ensuring we had all we needed. Highly recommend!

What a lovely time we had for our family vacation. The condo was as pictured and the location was fantastic — so close to the pool, the beach and all things Palmetto Dunes! Communication with the owners was great and we had zero issues of any kind. We would definitely stay here again!

Was very happy with the property. Very close to the beach, lots of available activities. The condo was nicely decorated with plenty of space for all 7 of us. We could all eat together at one table & kitchen large enough for several people to work together at one time. Plenty of kitchen supplies & baking equipment. Only complaint there needed to be a knife sharpener.

Phenomenal 5 star property and location! Conveniently located at the front of Palmetto Dunes! Three min walk to the beach and pool. Immaculate property! You could eat off the floor when we arrived! Five star amenities! Very nice kitchen, furniture, bathroom towels, laundry, beds, lines etc TV's in all the rooms. Perfect set up for families! The upstairs is like a little teen getaway. Our kids loved their own space. Backyard has beautiful pond with fish and room to kayak etc. We liked the rental so much we booked next year already! Total 5 star experience!

Came down for an extended family vacation. This home met our needs perfectly. Very well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds and everything needed for the beach.

This is our third time staying with Amy and Jeff and the second time at this property. It works so well for our family, including grandparents, parents, a toddler and an infant. We've already booked our stay for next year. Thanks again!

Decided on an earlier than normal trip to HHI (April 29-May 6) and the weather was perfect! Sunshine and 75-80 degrees for 6 of our 7 days. Amy and Jeff were great hosts and the condo was supplied with just about everything you'd need for a week at the beach. The decor is attractive and comfortable. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans and bakeware. The closets had loads of hangers plus extra pillows and blankets. The outdoor storage closet had 6+ beach chairs plus a large assortment of beach toys for castle building. There is outdoor furniture on the front porch and back deck AND you are a two minute walk to the beach! There is a pool at Captain's Walk with lots of lounge seating. It's a few minute walk to the tennis/pickleball courts. Palmetto Dunes is located close to grocery and retail shopping and local restaurants are abundant. (Island Bagels gets five stars for breakfast from us!)

We had a wonderful weeks stay at this property. Close to everything you could want-walking distance to the beach and private heated pool. The home itself was clean and spacious. The kitchen is stocked with everything that you may need to cook a feast! We were traveling with a baby and had ample space for all our equipment. Close to the grocery store, shopping, restaurants, golf, renting bikes and gorgeous walks on the beach. Amy was wonderful to communicate with and easy to reach by text. Don't hesitate in booking this property-you will not be disappointed!

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The hosts checked in with us before hand to make sure we had all the information needed and were easy to contact during our stay. The space was perfect for our family of 8. We loved the easy access to the beach.

This is our 3rd trip to HH and we will attempt to stay here again. The PM were easy to communicate with and gave some good recommendations. The property is very well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. 5STARS.

What a fantastic place: clean, spacious, comfortable, great location, lot of amenities, beautiful setting. We've stayed in Hilton Head a lot over the years and this exceeded our expectations, which were quite high to start with. Amy was so great to work with. We highly recommend this beautiful villa - you won't be disappointed.

Beautifully maintained Villa super convenient to the beach. It could have easily housed a few more people than our party of five. Everything was readily available and well stocked. We would definitely return.

This has to be one of the best properties and some of the best owners around. Our stay was blissful and so easy - the owners were incredibly communicative, the property was spotless and had the most wonderful amenities. It was a short and beautiful walk to the beach and the pool, and the lagoon in the back was the perfect place to spot wildlife. HIGHLY recommend!

The villa has everything you would need to cook with. There are tons of beach stuff including chairs. Lots of room in the villa and was just as described. We really enjoyed our stay!!

This was our second stay in this property. We have a family of 7 and it's perfect. A quiet location with a super short walk to the beach and pool. The hosts are great to work with and so helpful. We love it here.

You simply cannot go wrong by choosing this rental. It’s large, incredibly stocked, beautifully furnished, and so close to the beach and pool at Captain’s Walk. The lagoon behind the unit kept us entertained with gator, fish, and heron sightings. The grass is lush all the up to the lagoon, quite unusual for a lot of other lagoon front properties. The Sattlers’ have made sure your time in 499 Captain’s Cove will be the best.

We were all very happy with our lodging at Captain’s Cove. Amy and Jeff were attentive hosts. The condo was comfortable and well equipped for our 6 adults. We thought the location was perfect for all the island activities. The back porch was our sanctuary for quiet morning coffee and bird watching! We would not hesitate to stay here again! Thank you!

We had a great time. We visit Hilton Head every year. First time staying in Palmetto Dunes. We usually stay in Shipyard. Loved the location, on the lagoon, across from the beach. Beautiful place! Nicely furnished. Comfortable beds! Loved the two hours of daily Pickleball/ tennis included in the rental. Attentive owner. Would stay there again!

Property is conveniently located to beach, restaurants and shopping areas yet allows for privacy. It is spacious, comfortable and well equipped.

This home is comfortable for family gatherings. There is plenty of space, separate areas as well as a main gathering area. The furniture is comfortable and the home is well appointed. Lots to do; great location!

Everything about this property was great - fantastic location, beautiful decor, well-equipped kitchen and lots of space for our family to spread out and enjoy our vacation. The hosts are great communicators, and the setting on the lagoon is quiet and peaceful, with the pool and beach just across the street.
