The house is spacious and the bedrooms are private with a their own bathrooms. Beautiful pool with a great view and super friendly, caring and responsive owners. We enjoyed the house very much!

Our family had a great time staying at this house for our vacation. The communication with the owner before hand was fantastic. He went out of his way to give us recommendations. Since we were a large group we wanted to have a bunch of restaurant reservations in place and Russ was extremely responsive and helpful. The staff was great including Marinka who met us at the airport car rental and a housekeeper who came as often as we wanted and a maintenance man for any issues that arouse. The supplied beer, wine, soft drinks, and snacks was very generous and held us over until we got to the grocery store on day 2. The view from the pool is fantastic. We spent a lot of time at the house hanging out by the pool. The house is very convenient to the airport, grocery store, and the beaches and restaurants at Simpson Bay. We also went to the French side several times for the beaches and restaurants. Overall, the value of this place was just tremendous when you factor in the personalized care and the price we paid. I'm sure there are more luxurious places on the island, but who wants to pay three times the price or more? We had a great time and would definitely return here.

The villa has spectacular views of Cole Bay, Simpson Bay and SXM airport. The villa is dated exudes authentic island living. While it does require some care, it was clean, comfortable, safe and our home away from home. The villa pool is lovely, but does not come with jacuzzi (no jets). The maintenance and housekeeping staff were very friendly and quick to respond to our plumbing and tech issues. Would be great to have a big comfy sectional couch to accommodate large families, who enjoy watching movies together at night. If you or so EP e in your group has mobility issues, then this villa will be problematic as the only entrance requires taking steep steps up and down. Otherwise check out villa Islandtude conveniently located close to shopping, fine dining, island excursions and airport. We enjoyed our holiday at Islandtude. Thanks Russell and Marinka.

One of the most beautiful properties I have seen. We have been to SXM many times but this has been the most relaxing vacation we have had there. The staff was great and attended to the small issues we had quickly. The house everything you need and the refrigerator was stocked with beer, sodas and snacks when we arrived. The first morning when we sat around the pool for coffee, we were welcomed by two wild monkeys who sat on a rock overlooking the house. (If you go, remember that the monkeys are wild, and not pets.) I have been coming here for over twenty years and this is the first time we have seen them . The view from the pool is fantastic and looks down at the airport. I highly recommend “Islandtude” but I should warn you that there is a steep set of steps up to the home and they can be a little slick when wet. Parking can also be a challenge and you may want to rent the smaller cars. All in all our group of three couples had a great time and did not really want to leave the property. Thank you Russell and Bev. It was great and we are already thinking about next year.

This was a family vacation with adult children coming from multiple locations around the US. We all met with two hours of each other, and we all were graciously greeted and assisted by Marinka at the airport. The house was perfect for a group of eight, with large rooms for all and really large areas both inside and outside for eating and conversing. The pool was perfect and had spectacular views of the airport and the Simpson Bay Lagoon. All the descriptive information on the VRBO listing was 100% accurate. Communication with the owner (and there were more VRBO emails back and forth than normal because we were trying to work with Covid spikes ups and downs) was always quick, precise and more than accommodating. Russ, the owner, went out of his way to make this a great vacation for our family as we contemplated traveling safely. The owner's recommendations of what to do, what to see and restaurants was spot-on. The location of the villa was close to everything from the airport to the grocery stores to the Covid test sites needed for return to the US. We have stayed at dozens of VRBO's over the years, simply put, this was the best one! Thank you, Russ!!

Our family of 10 stayed at this property. Russell was great to deal with in booking the villa. Jenny met us at the airport, and was very friendly, and was helpful in getting us to our rental cars, and then on to the Villa. Nico was friendly as well, and responsive to our requests. It was great to have snacks for our arrival, and a nice touch to receive Islandtude hats. The villa is in a great location, close to the airport, with a grocery store just down the road. The large infinity pool and huge deck were my favourite part of the villa. We spent a lot of time enjoying it. The view is spectacular. It was really nice to have the option of being under the large covered area, out of the sun, or in sun if you chose. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside of the villa. A barbeque would be a nice addition to the deck. The separate sleeping areas are nice as well. This layout was great for our family with the youngest being 16, and would be great for friends as well, as it allows for privacy. The villa was large and the living room and dining room, combined with the outside area with a sliding door that opened all the way across the wall, made for a lot of space for everyone not to feel crowded. We had a wonderful time at this villa, and would highly recommend it to anyone holidaying in beautiful Sint Maarten.

My family really enjoyed our time in Sint Maarten, and the Villa Islandtude was key to making our time on the island go so well. The hospitality of our host and house manager was incredible. The layout provided great options for privacy when desired, and great opportunity to eat and hang out as a family at other times. Two things to consider: 1) We had a mostly young adult group [early 20s], and the wifi, powerline, and Internet couldn't quite keep up with their sometime heavy usage 2) An outdoor cooking option would be a great, fun addition. Would I recommend this VRBO to others? Already have! 4.5 / 5 STARS

Villa Islandtude was the perfect place for our family vacation! Marinka, the property manager, met us at the airport to take us to the house and immediately made us feel at home and made sure we had everything we needed. There were Islandtude t-shirts and hats waiting for us which was so fun! And the view- WOW. Even more stunning in person! The house itself is beautiful and had plenty of space for our group of 7. Everyone had privacy in their own bedroom but we could all gather in the large living room and/or pool. We enjoyed many meals on the pool deck watching the planes take off and land at the airport! The villa is very well stocked- plenty of towels, kitchenware/dishes, toiletries, laundry detergent, pool floats, a cooler to pack for the beach, etc. Russell and Beverly were fantastic hosts- very communicative and great recommendations for restaurants and activities. Their affection for St. Maarten is obvious and infectious! We can't wait to return!

The Villa is spacious, modern and well appointed. It was a perfect setting for our group of five couples. The view from the pool deck is absolutely spectacular. A lovely mountainside luxurious villa. Great view of the airstrip. 28 steps to enter makes this place a bit difficult for elderly or infirm guests. We enjoyed our stay.

From the weather, to the pool, to the views, to the suggested activities we could not have had a better time!

From booking, to a few questions, greeting at the airport and then seeing the place for the first time our were exceeded all the wat around. With 5 completely private rooms, gorgeous pool overlooking the valley, yacht basin and airport, and wonderful lanai. This place had great spaces to enjoy. It was centrally located in a gated community with lots of wildlife like iguanas, birds and monkeys.

You made our trip totally worry free! From the airport greeting to the goodies in the fridge and the shirt, hat and sunscreen! The pictures do not do this property justice - you have to see it to believe it! Thank you and can't wait to do it again.

Our trip started with Marinka meeting us at the car rental place and she kicked off the vibe of the villa and the island perfectly. My partner and I showed up 2 days before the rest of our party and Islandtude was nothing short of the best place to start our vacation. The villa is huge and beautiful, the common area and pool area are amazing and cozy. We enjoyed cooking large breakfast meals every morning in the kitchen then spending the day with our friends exploring the island and all it has to offer. We will be looking forward to coming back and staying at this beautiful place again.

Wow! We were a family of 10 (6 adults, 4 teenagers) that spent 10 days between Christmas and New Year at the Almond Grove house, and it was everything we had hoped for and more! Russ was extremely helpful leading up to our stay, making sure we had everything we needed on arrival, coordinating our pickup at the airport, suggesting restaurants, and even doing groceries for us based on a list I sent him! The house was superb, with plenty of room for the 10 of us. Adults had their own rooms with bathroom/shower, as did the kids, and the common area was often used for card games, dinners, drinks, and general catching up. View from the terrace was amazing, great sunsets and views of the island. Our kids loved the pool! We ended up cooking quite often at the house, which as a group was fun, and supermarkets were 10-15 minutes away with plenty of choice (Monoprix and Super U on the French side were outstanding). T-shirts, hats and visors were a really nice touch, and we had fun taking a family picture with our shirts at the end of our stay. Couldn't recommend this house more, really great for a family vacation, and St Martin is a cool place with great beaches, food and activities!

Villa Islandtude is everything advertised and much more! What an amazing destination for our honeymoon! The location is fantastic and convenient to shopping, restaurants, beaches and night life. All are close by and easy to access. We enjoyed coffee on the private veranda by the pool in the mornings and wine as we took in the magnificent sunset views in the evenings. Located mountainside, the villa provided spectacular views of the entire Simpson Bay Area.The owners, Russ and Beverly, attended to every detail to make our honeymoon special! We were greeted at the airport by their property manager and a lovely personalized welcome package was at the villa when we arrived. The spacious villa is perfectly appointed, comfortable and very private. Our week at Villa Islandtude was a perfect way to begin our life adventure together! Highly recommended!!!

My family of nine spent a week at this wonderful property and had the time of our life. The wine and ISLANDTUDE T-Shirts provided by the homeowners was a nice touch and greatly appreciated. Many of us wore them while on the FRIENDLY island. We can't say enough about the property. We felt like we were in paradise. Each room was beautifully decorated with a great view. The dining table was large enough to accommodate our large group. The washer and dryer came in handy as well. The whole villa was extremely clean and comfortable. With all that said,I have to say our favorite area of the house was the expansive porch and pool area. The view from the pool area was SPECTACULAR!!!! There was plenty of room and furniture to accommodate our entire group. We really enjoyed the great foam floats that were available. We had a view of the bay, the mountains and the airport landing strip, which was fun to watch the planes take off and land. The sunsets were especially beautiful! We rented three small cars to explore the island and there was plenty of room to park all three cars with room for at least one more. The owners were especially helpful. They gave us recommendations on things to do and places to eat and gave us some contacts to help us try to plan a fishing trip and answered all of our questions we had before traveling to the island. The property manager met us at the airport and helped us navigate to the car rental location, which was nearby. She even carried some of our luggage in her car for us. She showed us how to operate everything once there and checked on us almost everyday to see if we needed anything. She was just a phone call/text away if we did. She went above and beyond for us and it was greatly appreciated. This was our first trip to the island and it will not be the last. We hope to make this an annual trip. Thank you Russ and Beverly for your hospitality!!!

Russ and Beverly were absolutely great hosts, making sure that we were taken care of at their wonderful property! The view was spectacular, the villa was very clean and comfortable, and the pool was wonderful fun! The rooms were all very clean and comfortable, and we never felt anything but secure in the gated community. Having a guard at the bottom entrance and welcoming/nice neighbors was a good feeling when we left to explore the beauty of Sint Maarten. The pool floaties were a lot of fun, and the large deck and chairs were comfortable and great to relax on. The kitchen was functional and made some good meals. The hats and t-shirts that they left were welcomed and are worn with good memories to be told when people ask about them. What a great location, planes taking off and landing 1.2 miles away is a real treat! Russ was so very helpful to our group in recommending restaurants and beaches, and I was VERY grateful for that!! We were a group of 9 (family and friends) and we all had plenty of privacy when needed, and plenty of room to spread out to relax. There truly is nothing that I can say except for praises for a great location to spend time while on "The Friendly Island"!! We can't wait to go back, and look forward to enjoying Russ and Beverly's top notch hospitality again!

We just returned from spending a week at this wonderful property. Three couples flew into St. Maarten and stayed at Villa Islandtude. The villa is huge with 5 bedrooms and bathrooms. The living area and kitchen are spacious and appointed with attractive new furniture. The air conditioning in all parts of the villa works great! This is very important to us, especially for sleeping. The clothes washer and dryer came in handy, as well as the dishwasher. The beds are comfortable and we slept well every night. We spent a considerable amount of time in the awesome swimming pool. It is very clean and well cared for. They have eight Frontgate brand foam floats and super deck furniture poolside. Our group rented two SUV's at the airport so we could explore the island. If you go be sure to dine at Vesna in Simpson bay area. The food was delicious, so we ate dinner there twice. We also recommend O'Plongeoir next to the mall in Marigot. The Toppers Rhum Distillery Tour was fun and we enjoyed their restaurant too. We liked the Greenhouse restaurant and Izi Italian. We found the island to be friendly and everyone was very helpful. The men played Mullet Bay Golf Course, it is still recovering from hurricane Irma. While the guys played golf the ladies had fun shopping in Phillipsburg and eating lunch on the waterfront. The men had a great time because the course was fun and challenging. The views from this property are spectacular. We suggest Villa Islandtude as a wonderful vacation destination with enough room for a big group.

Friends and I stayed at Islandtude, which is an Oasis of tranquility with a spectacular view, and what a great time we had! The pool and pool deck area were our favorite hang out place. It is spacious, equipped with enough and comfortable furniture and plenty of lounge chairs. We especially enjoyed the floating beds for the pool. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom and is a great layout for three couples. Breakfast on the huge terrace was such a delight because it was still shaded during the early morning. We all had our own TV in the bedroom and the internet was available throughout the whole area in and around the villa. We prepared breakfast and lunch in the kitchen. The kitchen is a traditional French island kitchen which is smaller than more modern kitchens for those who want to prepare dinners. We enjoyed going to dinners in the many excellent restaurants convenient to the neighborhood. The island has recovered well and some contributions are still going on but in this particular area it is not noticeable or any hindrance. If you want a quiet getaway with friends or family, this is the place to be! Communication with the owner and manager was easy and clear, response time is very swift.
