This house is gorgeous and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay immensley. There were a few things we wish we had known before booking: 1) When we booked we were unaware that we would be charged an additional fee if we used a credit card to pay the balance. 2) The listing states there is spa, however, it's the spa bathtub that is turned off due to the water crisis. 3) We might have missed the information, but we were expecting the main rooms (kitchen, living room, dining room, etc.) to be on the bottom floor and they are on the top floor. This made it difficult for our family members that have mobility issues. We would definitely stay here again, and recommend the property. The location is perfect.

I really appreciated that it was a well cared for and maintained home (and believe me, not all rentals are); super clean; fairly new looking appliances and furniture; comfortable beds. Location was great, close to town, the ocean, beach, and walking trails. It was on a busy road, and the view is partially blocked, but all in all, one of the best! Had a terrifc vacation!

It's about a block from the ocean and you can hear the waves from the balcony and enjoy the sunset. Home is clean, unfortunately if you need more garbage bags/ washing machine soap/paper/ towels, it's pretty limited.Always check the fuel in the tank for propane. I've gotten used to bringing my own. There was not a vacuum in the house so we could not clean up the rug. There is also minimal cooking supplies, if you are planning to cook bring your own spices and measuring spoons/cups. The entire home was super clean, well equipped and comfortable. A really nice feature was the long garage that easy held two cars. Location is perfect with super easy access to the highway and Moonstone Beach. The check in process was efficient and the welcome bottle of wine appreciated! We enjoyed our stay very much. It was great having a good sized living room / kitchen and our own separate beds and baths. The house is private and quiet with all of the amenities. We loved the dining and shopping on Main Street. What a friendly place! The only bummer was Mom’s bedroom fireplace didn’t work and the heating didn’t kick in that first night. So she was pretty chilly (temps were in the forties). Luckily there were plenty of blankets. The jacuzzi bath and fireplace in her room were two main reasons we chose this location for her 70th and neither could be used owing to the drought and maintenance issues. The other two fireplaces worked great, though! Overall it was a wonderful stay and we can’t wait to get back to the lovely California Coast.

The owner does need to invest in small things, luggage racks, more wine glasses and silver ware and replacing the clunky tvs in the two main bedrooms. The garage opening is very narrow so we had to fold in our mirrors to enter and exit. Still among the best rental houses in Cambria. Bren staff is great.

Cute house with a view of the ocean! This property is a quick walking distance to a park with beach access, and a quick drive to Moonstone Beach. Two bedrooms downstairs, one upstairs, and every room has its own bathroom. Kitchen and living room are upstairs. We would definitely stay here again.

We live in Carlsbad California and usually make 2 to 3 trips to Cambria every year. My husband and I are native San Diegans & love seeing the coastline and open spaces. We have enjoyed the shopping and the great places to eat there for years. The people in Cambria have always been friendly! It’s always been a place for us to recharge and rest. The only criticism I would offer was that there were literally only 2 wire clothes hangers! I even checked the downstairs bedrooms! Luckily I always bring some of my own.
