Leonard's newly remodeled condo was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 2 toddlers. Leonard is a kind host who waited for us to give us his parking place. We had an ocean view with just steps to the wharf where we enjoyed fishing and the sand and sea where our toddlers played joyfully. The condo is clean and well-furnished. We would gladly return.

It was a pleasure to meet Leonard. He is the only host that has ever greeted us in person, and he took pleasure in showing us around his lovely home. The main floor is both roomy and cozy at the same time, with an antique fireplace, a jacuzzi tub in the master, not to mention a balcony with a view from the wharf to the trestle bridge! Numerous Capitola restaurants and shops are just a short walk away. But the main feature, the Beach, is just steps from Leonard's door! Thank you so much Leonard, we can't wait to see you again!

My fiancé and I came with a group of friends for Labor Day weekend and would definitely stay here again! Leonard was so helpful and even saved us a parking spot. We loved being able to walk everywhere we were steps from the beach and close to all the restaurants and shopping. I loved leaving our windows open to listen to the ocean all night! We will be back !

We loved staying at Leonard’s Beach Home! This Location is Ideal. Right on the Beach and a hop, skip and a jump from lots of Great restaurants and shopping.

Views, breeze, accessibility and everything else we needed for a magical beachfront vacation. Somewhat quirky layout of the rooms in order to maximize space and views. Owner lives in the space when not renting it out.

Great location and best host!
I took a group of teens to Capitola for the weekend and the location could not have been better. Great host who was so helpful and kind. My only suggestion would be to update the sofa/chairs and get the carpets and floors cleaned or replaced. Thank you so much for the great stay.

Incredible location and accomodations
One of the best VRBO places we have stayed. Everything was either as advertised or better. Can't beat the location right off the beach. Leonard was a great host.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!
Stunning location. Literally inches from the beach. Listen to the waves to put you to sleep. Great restaurants so close that even my 82 year old grandma could walk to them. ( Try the Thai place- its awesome!)

All we hoped for!
We were fortunate to spend a week in Capitola at Leonard's beach house. Our group included 3 generations and Leonard's house, location a gracious hosting made the experience extraordinary for all. Steps from the beach and pier, we were within walking distance of anything we needed. Would stay there again without hesitation!

Fabulous Location & Beach Getaway!
Perfect for a family get away - beach literally steps away. Kitchen nook is fun for eating, playing board games and looking at the ocean. The size of the beach is great for families and restaurants/ice cream parlor are within 3-5 minutes walk of rental space. So appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella as an extra to use on the beach. The 2 bedrooms downstairs are good for kids & parent(s), as you need to walk through one bedroom to get to the other bedroom - which was perfect for our family. Friendly and helpful host!

Wonderful location!
Having gone to college in the area over 40 years ago it was such a joy to bring my family back to Capitola for a long weekend. The property is in an ideal spot for spending time at the beach or wandering the streets of the village. It comfortably accommodates 10 people. We had younger kids with us and they thought being so close to the beach was awesome! Beach toys, lounge chairs, and umbrella all provided. We loved every minute. The host was easy to communicate with and seemed to truly want his guests to have a wonderful stay in his home.

Return Visit
It was great to visit Capitola again. This trip was originally scheduled for Easter week, but was rescheduled (with ease) for November. Working with Leonard was a pleasure. The place is as Leonard describes it, and just steps from the beach. Great place to watch the sunrise. Everything is open again in the Village (albeit at reduced capacity). Everyone I dealt with in town was welcoming in these nutty times.

Great property right on the beach!
Leonard (the owner) was a great host! Parking is limited in this area so he greeted us there with a parking pass as well as saving the best/closest spot to the beach house. Was able to walk everywhere so you don’t need your car once you get there. Home is roomy and comfortable with views from every room. There are several beach chairs provided to carry the short 20 steps to the sand. Made for a perfect weekend getaway! Thank you Leonard! We’ll be back!

Awesome Beach Getaway
Leonard was the perfect host and the house was the setting for a perfect family vacation. Leonard waited for us to check in and saved us a prime parking spot. His house was well appointed and had all if the necessary items for a great rental. We ate all of our meals in the house and used the outdoor grill too. The beach is steps away. The waves lull you to sleep. Book your stay now!

Great long-weekend at the beach
We had an amazing five days at the Capitola Venetian over 4th of July weekend. Leonard greeted us as we arrived with a reserved parking space right out front of the condo. The location is outstanding - we walked everywhere and did not get in our car once during the trip. There was plenty of space for the 7 of us. We will definitely stay again.
