We are a group of four Retired educators. We found this place was great for many of its attributes. The lake was amazingly clean and easy to access. The kitchen and all areas were well equipped, tissues and paper towel were provided. Nice to have a full-service kitchen and lots of space to spread out.

My Family and I enjoyed this house. Everything was very clean, and well kept. We loved all the little details the owners put into this rental. The stocked kitchen, board games, extra patio & fire pit seating, onsite firewood, outdoor lawn game, deck of cards, bug spray, weather radios, paper plates and paper towels. It was great to have 3 kayaks, a canoe, and a rowboat. It allowed us to be out exploring the lake together. The option to rent a pontoon is great too and very convenient. We didn't have any issues during the day with mosquitos. Only at night, but that's to be expected in the middle of the forest. It's located in a Beautiful area. We explored Copper Falls and Morgan Falls during our stay. We would highly recommend this rental for anyone looking to get away and relax! Thank You!

What a wonderful time we had here! Kayaking, playing on the beach, hiking at Copper Falls State Park were just a few of the highlights. The best part was the time with family in this quiet location. We loved it!

This was an amazing property, fully stocked with everything you could need/want. The waterfront was perfect for wading with kids, had a nice sandy bottom with clear water. We enjoyed the kayaks provided. We fished in the evening and we caught a ton of little fish and a couple bigger ones. Perfect for kids as the bobber would go down as soon as you cast it in. Such an enjoyable getaway with our family.

The cabin is very beautiful and the property is well kept. Spent time using the canoe and rowboat on the lake. All communication with the property manager went very well. This place is highly recommended.

Stayed at Gregg’s cabin on English Lake with 7 other buddies for an ice fishing trip. Had an awesome weekend. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. The lake was beautiful, we had an awesome time.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house and property! There was plenty of room for our 2 families of 4 (4 adults, 3 teens and 1 child) and all the amenities you'd need. We got 2 days of skiing/snowboarding in at Whitecap and then spent a relaxing day at the property ice fishing, using the fire pit and cooking for New Years Eve. What a great spot to ring in the New Year! Gregg was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. We would definitely recommend this property to others!

Our overall impression was that of a little piece of heaven in the northwoods.The property was so beautiful as well as the Cabin. It was way way back in the woods. The drive in was awesome though because of peak fall colors.The lake was very clear and peaceful.The lot was level down to the lake We all went out several times in the Kayaks.The deck was awesome to sit on in the morning and enjoy pure tranquility with your cup of coffee and the little chickadees that visited. We enjoyed fishing from the dock. Copper Falls was just minutes away for us to visit.We also had a campfire in the evenings. We enjoyed the fireplace too.Next time a longer stay.

We had a wonderful time at this property. Very quiet lake, good for kayaking and fishing in the evening. Our party of five adults was very comfortable with two bedrooms on the lower level and the loft bedroom with pullout couch on the upper level. Copper falls state park is a 15-20 minute drive away…a must see! If you want a lot of shops, restaurants and activities this might not be the place for you. But if you want to spend some quiet time on the lake, paddling, fishing, watching loons and eagles, this property is a winner.

This was our second time here and we love it. House has everything you need. The lake is peaceful and our kids spent most of the day fishing off the dock. We have already booked for next year.

We absolutely loved our stay. The lake is so calm and peaceful, there were a number of times it was just us on the lake. The kayaks were used daily and there was a lot of fishing. The cabin is wonderful and clean. We had a great time and made a lot of memories to last a lifetime. Thank you so much!

The cabin is beautiful and the responsiveness of owner and management was also very good. The lake is great - love the sandy beach and easy access to the pontoon! The cabin is a bit off the main roads so it is quiet and peaceful.

My family and I had a great time. It's a beautiful place on an absolutely perfect lake. There's very few homes and very few people on water. If you like peace and quiet you'll love it. Lots of winding gravel roads and thick forest. Surprisingly, we didn't see a ton of wildlife, but did spot the occasional otter or goose.

Our time at the cabin and English Lake was wonderful…relaxing, peaceful, and fun! Very isolated with only a handful of other cabins on the lake. The owners had everything you could possibly need – a fully stocked kitchen, paper products, indoor/outdoor games, firewood, bugspray, whatever we needed was there! Renting the pontoon from the neighbor was easy and priced fairly. We enjoyed exploring the lake, fishing, swimming, and of course watching the sunset from the water. The fishing kayak needed a little work, but we took the canoe out. The small sand beach was an added bonus. Our family of 5 adults slept comfortably. We used the aerobeds the owner provided rather than pullout couch. Much more comfortable. The property is exactly as listed and the owner is great to work with. Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful time! Loved the beautiful property, stunning lake, and surrounding parks. We rented a pontoon boat at the rental, fished tons, had campfires, cooked together, and also traveled to nearby Morgan Falls and Copper Falls State Park for some great hiking. Truly a beautiful, relaxing, and memorable time!

Our family of 4 had a great stay. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed and the property was amazing. It was easy to relax and play. Location is great too with opportunities for fun adventures in all directions.

This is a great property. The house is nicely furnished and the setting is so beautiful. Perfect for relaxation and time spent with family. The only negative is that you drive on gravel roads for quite a while to reach it - but the tranquility of the location make it worthwhile. The owners have done a great job of making sure that you have everything you need even though the location is remote. I would definitely stay again!

A beautiful setting and property has the ability to be 5 star. Could use some TLC to details inside and out. Unfortunately the mosquitoes and Gnats were horrible and really played a part in not enjoying the outside like we had hoped for. Repellent helped for awhile but was not the solution. Otherwise a nice property. Be prepared to travel on very dusty gravel roads.

Very quiet, great house, nice area, only thing we did not care for was the road into the property, the Quarry road access is the better route. Copper Falls state park is a must.

A true log home with all modern convenience. Lake front secluded getaway. The owners supply you with everything you need right down to fishing gear. The birds will eat from your hand. Peace and quiet. We would highly recommend this rental. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

We found that this is a great weekend getaway in the middle of Minnesota winter. Our friends were visiting from Toronto and we decided to try an adventure. It worked out wonderfully! This property in the remote northern part of Wisconsin. Situated on a lake, this log house is big enough to accommodate six of us. It was cozy and beautiful. The experience of returning to the warmth of the cabin after a long hike in -10 degree Fahrenheit was unforgettable. The property owner is professional and very accommodative to our request to stay an extra few hours beyond the checkout time. We hope to return next winter, may be during the Christmas break.

Gregg your lakefront cabin is a fantastic getaway and and we couldn’t have enjoyed our time more. Everything was as described and very well stocked and prepared for us. 5 Stars! Thank you

Spent a few days here for some ice fishing. We had 8 adults and all slept comfortably. Loved the nice open Floorplan so everyone could hang out together. Very nice and easy access to the lake as well. Fishing was excellent also.
