The location was great for us. There are a few things to keep in mind: 1. The ski in/ski out lift doesn't have night skiing 2. The runs at this lift are not for beginners. 3. Getting from the lift to the house is a bit of a trek. We took advantage of the parking lot down the street for night skiing and benefited from less traffic than you find at the bottom of the mountain. Everything in the house was as expected and the pictures were a great representation. Don't forget your bedding, towels, and hairdryer.

We were celebrating a much needed family getaway. The property overlooked Collingwood and you could see Georgian Bay. Beautiful scenery. Walking trails right in the backyard. Easy access. Home is very equipped, and even though there was 11 of us, we never felt crowded. Would use this home again and highly recommend it.

Great for skiing out, little more tricky to ski in….. quite roomy, 3levels gave lots of room to spread out with 7 adult and 6 kids staying! The only issue the thermostat was set for 25 degrees, so it was hot for sleeping at night, otherwise 2 thumbs up!

Very scenic, ski in ...ski out. .Lots of space inside 3 levels We had 12 people .Nice back deck and barbque. It was in good shape but not fancy which is good. Lots of space for all our garbage!, botttes, cans Food . In the garbage bin That can be an issue at some rentals!! Nice fireplace, We used gas fire logs and kindling Very private. Big property if you like to cook. Quite well equipped kitchen Bring your own fry pans and large casserole if you plan to cook a big dish ie lasagna/mac&cheese .Beds were all really comfortable/ good quality mattresses and mattress covers, pillowa, comforters Just have ti bring your own sheets, which makes sense and towels.. We all want to go again next winter.. Family vacation Christmas present

Nice house, plenty of bedrooms. A bit awkward with 3 bedrooms up but no bathroom on that level. Kitchen could have been a bit better equipped (measuring cups, a few basic pantry items, a couple of logs for the fireplace)

We did enjoy our stay in the chalet. There were a few housekeeping things to be sorted out, however. Plave needed a very deep clean and new mattresses on the bunkbeds. Would stay again.

Large cottage, could use an additional washroom. Although well managed, is understandably showing wear and tear. Overall a good experience, spent valuable time with family.

My elder parents, four siblings and our spouses were celebrating my parent 70th wedding anniversary. There were 11 of us in total. The place was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. There was lots of seating for all of to visit and reminisce. We enjoyed ourselves and are hoping to be able to do it again next year!

We had an excellent time staying at this property. It was fully equipped and really a nice place. Would highly recommend! Also, Dan is super nice and stayed in communication with me leading up to the stay as well as during.

check in was easy. Dan replies very quickly and is very helpful. it was very clean inside and enjoyable. the only thing you have to be aware of is making too much noise, if you’re going for a getaway keep the noise/party indoors because of the permanent residents nearby. overall 5/5 it was wonderful time @ the executive!

Beautiful cottage, everything was up to standards. The cleanliness could have been a little better. But overall the accomodation and location was the best. This was our second time booking with Dan and as always, beyond our expectations. Thanks again Dan.

The property is close to the mountains and attractions. House is as described. Clean with ample amenities and dishes. First time out in a cottage/chalet so didn’t know where to dispose of garbage but owner is quick with response and communication is easy. Resolved issues fast. Overall great stay. Would recommend to this place 100%. Would definitely return for more stays.

This house is beautiful. It's large and spacious. A bit of an odd layout though as there's no washroom on the top floor where the 3 queen bedrooms are located. The bedrooms are a good size and there's enough storage in each and the beds are very comfortable. The location is wonderful and very close to anything you may want to do and has a beautiful tree lined view. The downfall for us was the overall feel of cleanliness. I'm not sure how it passed inspection. We had to contact the owner and have the cleaning person come back for the main floor washroom and even then, did not do a thorough job and had to return again. The first time, she was back within 30 minutes of my contacting the owner. Because this place is large and very well situated, it is probably well used and it shows. It is in need of much tlc. It is a rental though so people tend to abuse things they don't own. My advise is that if you have toddlers in crawling or early walking stages, you may not be comfortable here due in part to the lack of ability on the cleaners part, but also because of the ceramic tile floors and the beautiful main floor fireplace. Lots of places for a little one to injure themselves. I have communicated with the owner my experience with the cleaning company. In my opinion, he's throwing his money away. I won't go into detail on this. I can say, if you run in to any issues, they are taken care of very promptly. The owner truly wants your stay to be a special one. The negatives on this property did not constitute a bad stay but I do hope the owner takes the cleaning reviews under consideration and gets a competent crew in there.

This property is well situated but was not well cleaned before our arrival. The floors were dirty, the windows needed a major cleaning and the washrooms smelled a bit mouldy. We opened one of the kitchen cupboards to put food away and there were leftover milk cups from Tim’s and Starbucks left there to rot. The place needs a lot of TLC. It looked way nicer in the pictures. The BBQ grills were rusty, and the oven drawer jammed so of course we had to pull it out to see what was blocking it, only to find old food (including oyster shells) and years of filth there! The basement is a walkout but we couldn’t use it because the door was jammed. The lock needs to be fixed. Also, there are only 2 chairs for the fire pit even if the place boasts “sleeps 16.” One of the chairs were broken. The description should specify where the rooms are with what size beds - all three King sized beds are on the top floor. We didn’t know this and couldn’t have kids sleep in the basement while we were two floors up. Also, no windows had and window coverings except on the top floor. The cottage needs some work, and could use a hotub!

We loved the view and location - and it was very clean. We'll definitely be renting here again!

We had a great experience at this cottage. The location was really great as it was close to a lot of attractions at Blue Mountain. The property was very large and the cottage was well kept. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Dan was very accommodating and was very quick to respond.

This chalet was very beautiful and had easy access to the chair lifts which was really nice. The chalet was big enough to host a joint birthday party (16 people). It felt very private at times as well since the neighbors are not really close. I had a really great time and enjoyed how everything we needed was available. Also, if i ever had any questions Dan was always very quick to reply.

Had 11 guys up for a weekend retreat, and when we arrived one of the cable boxes wasn't functioning. I sent one message to Dan, and the next morning there was a Bell technician there to fix the issue! Really appreciated the extra effort that was put in for that. The Bruce Trail is RIGHT out the backyard, which was great. We all would definitely recommend the space. We ended up having another guy drive up just for the day, and the space was more than comfortable for the 12 of us if we split ourselves up between the main living room and dining room. Great dinner table as well

The cottage was great for our large group of mixed skiers and snowboarders. Plenty of covered outdoor storage for all the gear under the deck. It slept everyone comfortably. The runs the cottage backed on to where closed early however if you keep right you end up at open lifts and (to be honest, getting a run on an empty hill was great) just had some of our group pick us up at the bottom of the hill. The kitchen came fully set up with plates cups cutlery the works and there was plenty of storage for all the food and beverages a large group like ourselves had. We did have an issue with land mines around the property and specifically up the driveway despite not bringing any dogs. Just keep an eye on the neighbors and their pets but no biggie. The movie selection was pretty awesome for a bunch of 80s kids having a rain day the Sunday. Plenty to do in the way of games in the cottage. All in all would recommend to anyone with a good size group looking for a comfortable, quiet and versatile place to stay at the top of blue. Thanks again!

This rental property is beautiful, and for a large group of people you will not be disappointed! We had 16 people; everyone had their own bed, and all the parents had their own king size room. We came in the winter to ski. The walk out to the ski hill was amazing, but only during the day. This lift is closed for night skiing, and I don't know that you could do the short climb up the hill to get back to the cottage in the dark. I even walked it in ski boots, carrying my skis! The kitchen was plenty large and we had lots of space to cook, and play games. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there were enough plates, utensils, and coffee mugs for all! The only reason I did not rate as excellent was due to a few small details. As an example, no towel hooks in the upstairs bathroom or bedrooms. I’ve already mentioned this Dan, who we booked with. Dan was easy to work with and very accommodating and helpful. Actually, I wish the place was smaller so I could rent it for my family of 4. The location was beautiful. Do not hesitate to rent this home!

Our stay at this beautiful cottage on Swiss Meadows gave us a break from the usual hustle and bustle of city life. The cottage was a great fit our large group. It slept everyone comfortably and was equipped with everything you needed and much more. Everyone had an amazing time at the cottage. The interior was tastefully decorated and well furnished. The cottage looks back into Blue Mountain resort and provided a stunning view. It certainly was a cottage we would have loved to call home. We will definitely be back to enjoy the winters in peace again at this cottage.
